i had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. i loved the service and the atmosphere but the food and matcha were my reason for this rating. the matcha just tasted like milk, not matcha at all. the breakfast tacos looked beautiful but just felt like it was missing something. i also ended up finding a hair in my food but they refunded me for the tacos and gave me a whole new order, which was greatly appreciated.

I'll return to update the review after I've had something else from here... I had a latte, and it was decent, not mind blowing but good. There is a sandwich here that I want to try and the breakfast cocktails look pretty good. As I said before when I try something else I'll update, but the building is cute and in a trendy area. Music was medium in case you wanted to just chill.

Stay Golden always has outstanding service and amazing food. I think I've tried half the menu at this point and there's not a single bad item. I'm picky about biscuits and these are fantastic! The last time we went they forgot my husband's coffee and the barista apologized and immediately made it. They move the line as fast as they can and the food comes out pretty quickly too. Free 90 min parking in the back too! I also love the patio here. Highly recommend!

This location stays pretty busy. order before seating gives people time to get up and find the next seat. Very modern decorated. Lots of options of spicy chicken. Service was quick and welcoming!

Amazing! I was able to eat a biscuit after many years and it was glorious! The homemade gluten free biscuit was incredibly good! Flaky, buttery...all the good things. I wish they told me when I ordered that I had to get grilled chicken instead of breaded (since it wasn't gluten free), but other than that it was great. The pickled onions and hot honey was a great combo. I also ordered an iced chai tea latte that was great. The space is clean, inviting, warm and bright. Service was excellent!

A cute breakfast spot! I was quite impressed with my coffee -- I had never had a coffee soda and this was delicious. I found it odd that they couldn't poach my egg, considering it was an eggs Benedict (isn't the whole thing about an eggs Benedict that it's poached??), but it was still jammy and flavorful as a sunny side up egg. Overall SG didn't blow me out the water, but I did enjoy it!

What we ordered. Notice no mods (we did not order egg whites)

What on earth has happened to this place. We use to go to their original location on Sidco all the time previously. We hadn't been to try them again since they moved until this week. I ordered online what we always use to order (classic and Golden Arches biscuit sandwiches). I didn't look at our order until arriving home but wish I would have. The breakfast sandwiches were NOTHING like they use to be..or what is advertised on their website by the way. It's clear they are cutting corners and costs. The "eggs" were this bizzare baked cube of seasoned what I assume are egg whites. Sausage was insanely overcooked. Potatoes we paid extra for, were undercooked and over seasoned. We picked through the sandwiches but threw most of it away. Nothing was good. Both of our stomachs hurt nearly the rest of the day after eating here. Be very cautious eating any hollandaise based items here (I saw they have a few). Hollandaise has to be held at a certain temperature or can be very dangerous. I would stay away from that here since I saw some questionable food practices when I was inside near where they were cooking. There also was a rude employee I encountered when inside the restaurant that was cleaning up. What an absolute bummer. We went a lot out of our way to support them again but won't be back.

Stopped for a quick brunch and ordered at the counter. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and jam, plus a side of potatoes. The flavors were really good, but the sandwich was super messy -- the egg and biscuit crumbled everywhere. The potatoes were solid, nothing special. Overall, tasty but a bit hard to eat. Would try again, but probably order something different next time. They did have a very cute patio that we sat on.

Cute place to stop in Nashville! We came for coffee but the breakfast looked good. The neon sign and fun mural decals on the wall combined with big windows and hanging plants make a nice atmosphere and there's plenty of seating. There was also free parking in the back. The coffee menu is somewhat limited but all of your typical drinks (latte, mocha, chai, matcha) are there. The featured items were a brandy vanilla latter or a sweet latte with condensed milk (Cuban) which we tried and really enjoyed. This wasn't quite a coffee shop vibe that I was expecting, more a restaurant, but it hit the spot! It's close to the Greenway and Sylvan Park too so nice to hit for a bite or drink before a morning or evening walk.

We waited in line for 30 minutes, but it was worth it. The food was really good. Among the three of us, we ordered the crispy yeasted waffle, savory waffle, and American breakfast (complete with gluten-free biscuit). I loved all of the natural light and wall murals. The staff were friendly and thanked us for waiting. The only disappointment was the iced mocha, which didn't have a lot of flavor.

I had been meaning to check out Stay Golden's new location in The Nations for a while, and I have to say I am impressed! They managed to recreate the vibes from their former cafe in 100 Oaks - while adding in a bit more natural light and fun decor that fits in well with the neighborhood. Hot tip - there is some parking available behind the building! When in doubt, there's always street parking too. I met a friend here for coffee and lunch on a weekday, and decided to try their seasonal Spiced Apple Chai. One word - YUM! If you're a fan of warm fall spices, this drink is a must order. Get it before it's gone! For lunch, I went with the Super Foods Salad, which was just OK for me. "Seasonal fruit" is listed in the ingredients, which I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't grapes. They felt out of place on an otherwise decent salad - and made me with I had ordered one of the Biscuit Sammies instead. Even still, Stay Golden is a cute neighborhood cafe, and I'm sure I'll be back again soon the next time I'm in the area.

A Better Morning (espresso martini) @tiffhuangry

STAY GOLDEN | golden hour is my happy hour and my only regret was not staying longer at Stay Golden for food. We stopped in for a quick drink & caffeination and were pleased by the menu options. Their "augmented coffee" list is truly different from any coffee menu I've ever seen. We tried the Forever Young, which was a pretty hibiscus coffee drink topped with cream and bee pollen. I also couldn't turn down their take on an espresso martini, A Better Morning. I'm not usually very big on espresso martinis that have cream, but this one was solid. Overall, a great stop for elevated coffee drinks or a cocktail. Next time I'm ordering food!!

I came to Stay Golden for a quick breakfast since I was in that area of town. I was expecting more of a cozy-comfy vibe, this was a little less that and a little more clean and white modern type. I got the chicken biscuit gravy and egg dish. The chicken was perfectly cooked and breaded. The egg was also perfectly cooked- I am a little particular with my fried eggs, I want it to be runny but only the yolk runny and this was perfect. I was really excited for the biscuits because their menu raves about them, they were not my favorite. They were a bit dense. I didn't get a coffee but they looked good!

Cute huh? Our table of 7 women ordered a variety of brunch sandwiches and biscuits. While everyone enjoyed their meals, I can only give specifics on what I ordered. I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!

But, their cinnamon pancakes were amazing!! Those were definitely the winner!!! Best pancakes I've ever had. Their three pig omelette was pretty bomb as well. I got some of their sausage gravy on the side, to douse the omelette and that was definitely the move there. I think this is the first time I didn't need to use cholula for flavoring.
