I went to Frothy Monkey for a lunch break and to get some work done for a few hours. I love how it is friendly to work from - but it's also a sit down experience. I feel like that is hard to come by! My server recommended the 12South blend drip coffee and it was great! The salmon arugula salad was so delicious- the salmon had a great flavor and all components of the salad were great together! I got an iced latte to-go and it was also great. I'd love to come back to try more items on the menu and for a meal when I'm not working. Great place!

Coffee is good but takes a long time cause its also a restaurant. I've only gotten their coffee though. Its an open room that reminds me of an old factory honestly, but a lot of brick. The coffee is either too sweet or not sweet enough and I haven't foundation good median here yet. But I'll keep trying.

Such a delicious and hip place to have Breakfast/lunch and drinks. As you enter the ambiance is hip and fun you can order coffee or pastries or you can have a sit down meal. The space is huge and there is a big seating area I love how they are spread out and not so close so you can hear other people's conversations. The menu is simple but lots of great options and something for everybody. Their lattes are so good. We got their Cali toast- it was delicious but one change that would be great is my toast was a bit soggy not sure if it was the dressing on the salad it came with or the tomato juice that made it soggy. But besides that it was delicious! Their Farm Breakfast was great as well it was well served and the grits were delicious. Love the little patio section outside with the umbrellas as well if you want to grab a quick something and chill outside. One thing I absolutely loved is the staff here very friendly and attentive as soon as we walked in they were great and made our visit even better. Thanks for great service!

Frothy Monkey is a fan favorite every time we hit Nashville. This location is the perfect spot to grab a coffee or breakfast and work remote or just chill, or even grab to go service is super quick! Everything we had was delicious. Betsy sandwich will be a repeat buy for me for sure.

We had a large party on Saturday, 9/28/24. There was a fairly long wait by the time we got there at 11/11:30, so go early. I got the BE Hive Bowl ($15) , which was good. I tried the Vanilla-Cinnamon French Toast ($14), which was fine. Good for large groups, but prepare for a wait!

Mood: Morning meeting First time here & didn't disappoint in the vibes category. Super cute, smells great, and clean place. I love the inside & outside seating options. *Havana Latte: delicious 10/10 with almond milk of course! Will be here again for food & more drinks next time. Service was very sweet & attentive. Would recommend for anyone needed a great space to work, drink, and eat.

Delicious coffee, space to spread out, and good vibes all around ... what could be better? I've been to other Frothy Monkey shops before, but I have to say that this location in the Nations may be my new favorite. I visited with a few friends recently, and was immediately floored by how large the interior is! It's no secret that Frothy Monkey is a popular spot, so I've often worried about finding a table at other locations. That's not the case here! I started with my go-to coffee - their Havana latte is one of my favorites in the city. I also ordered some food - I'd been eyeing the Huevos Rolandos on their brunch menu for a while and was anxious to try it. This is definitely a delicious mix of flavor - creamy avocado and sour cream, spicy black beans, and fresh, perfectly cooked eggs. My only complaint was that the potatoes had a weird texture - like they were overcooked. Thankfully, this dish is served with corn tortillas, which made for a solid carb swap for the potatoes. My friends ordered the Farm Breakfast and the Cali Toast, both of which looked tasty. Our server was friendly and fast, despite being quite busy on a weekday around lunchtime. I absolutely recommend this Frothy Monkey location to anyone looking to work/study remotely ... or to just catch up with friends!

I love Frothy Monkey - such quality and flavorful coffee! The Nations location is one of my favorites because there is so much space. In addition to the typical dining area, there is a bar area you can sit at and an area that is meant for people studying or a longer stay. It is awesome that they added outlets in each of the "desks" in that area, creating a welcoming space to study and do work. Their lattes are all very flavorful. You can taste the coffee and not just syrup and sweetness. They always change up their flavors. I got the Hummingbird which is not on their current menu but they were kind enough to make a modification for me. I think it has banana syrup and pecan. It's not too sweet which I love. There is a parking lot to the side and behind it. Also lots of street parking.

I've been eating at Frothy for years and years! And I always get the royale because it's delicious and filling... or at least it used to be. The turkey went from a nice portion to a barely existent portion. It used to be 3-4 slices of thick cut, now it's 2 slices super thin cut. They still advertise it as a nicely loaded sandwich but that is not what I got. Before today I most recently went to the 12 south location and experienced the same thing but hoped it was just a one off, so when I was in the area thought I'd give the Nations location a go... but as you can see, they also are skimping on the meat. Very disappointed.

Consistently good! They have seasonal drinks specials that are always fun and creative, made by baristas at each location. Their coffee syrups are their own brand. They will randomly be out of things like certain milks or entree ingredients, but they're good about having a substitute. Large space where you can work from when not enjoying a meal with friends. Saturday and Sunday mornings get busy but usually not a bad wait.

Back again for breakfast! Quickly sat at 9am on a Sunday morning. Again love the bright open space, had a 12 karate latte and seriously would put it high on my list of favorite coffees! Sweet cinnamon goodness in a cup! Had the French toast to eat which was a great pairing with the coffee.

A nice brunch place. This is very modern and eclectic.. The staff were nice. The place was clean and the decor was unique. They have a variety of food options. I was able to go to vegan meal which was tasty and delicious. They also have a kids menu and sort of alcoholic beverages and/ teas. I definitely recommend and will probably return when in the area. Hope you enjoy!

Located in the Gulch, it was just a short Uber ride from our downtown area hotel. Before we were even seated we were already enchanted with the adorable 'cow bee' t-shirt. Get it? Milk and honey? Cute huh? Our table of 7 women ordered a variety of brunch sandwiches and biscuits. While everyone enjoyed their meals, I can only give specifics on what I ordered. I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. We loved the vibe, service, and food and will happily return the next time we are in Nashville!

For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!

I especially appreciated that my "Poached Hard" request came back spot on. The Pancakes/Waffles/French Toast were all light, tasty and well served by the maple syrup. It was all delicious and perhaps too much food. We were all happy with our choices and appreciated our upcoming walks to work all this off.

Where to start, there was a line so we had to wait outside which had quite a few homeless people…read moresitting there waiting for food to be given to them. Once inside the staff was so kind and helpful. Our waitress was the best! They did have Gluten Free options which was very nice and they were good. I ordered the Cold Brew and it was gross. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give it a 5 on cleanliness. I guess they allow pets so we listened to this dog bark as the owner threw waffles on the floor for him to eat. I happened to not be a pet person so this was a struggle for me + I felt bad for the dog. All those dirty feet walking on that floor and that dog was eating off of it. Didn't feel right. They did mess up our bill and we ended up realizing after that we over paid. Overall I do not recommend and wouldn't go back. If our waitress wouldn't have been amazing this would have been a 1 star review.
