My back yard putting green was in disrepair after about 10 years of usage and the front turf needed to be rejuvenated. I called George at Stay Green Turf and he was sincerely interested in giving me the best results for a fair price. His crew replaced the fringe turf and restored the putting green fabric, then they did a thorough cleaning and fluffing of the turf in the front yard. The quality of the product was the highest, the workmanship of the crew was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. The putting green and turf look great now! We were really impressed with George and his team. We have had other companies install turf for us in the past, but this was the best we have ever seen. To start, the communication was great. George always responded to our questions quickly and clearly, and he spent time with us to ensure he understood what we wanted. He has a great eye for design and made several great suggestions that improved the overall look of our project. Also, the turf they installed is the best quality that we've seen and the price was very reasonable. Even though their schedule was packed, George found time to squeeze in our project and worked around our schedule to ensure the project was completed when we needed it done. His guys were friendly and had a great attitude, and they worked hard (and late) to get the project done on time. There was no detail missed and our yard looks amazing! After the heavy rainy season, my Turf that was installed by Stay Green,developed a lot of dips. They came out to inspect and claimed that I must have a broken water pipe, which I highly doubt because the dips are in entirely different sections. Now they want another $2,000 to fix. Now my Turf looks like crap after paying $5,500 for it. Not cool. read more

UPDATE: 5/9/20 After a long and patience-tested wait, Tyvon and George have made good on their promise to me in resolving the issue I was having with my putting green. The original piece of turf that was installed was deemed "defective" which is why it was giving so many problems, and the manufacturer would not provide any assistance to the situation. George and Tyvon ordered a new piece of turf from a different manufacturer, and of much better quality, and replaced the existing putting green that was installed. The replacement project has been completed for about 4+ days now and I have been outside using it (and enjoying it) every day since. It is now up to me to adjust the speed of the green (using the sand they directed) and making more putts! All in all, I am very satisfied and appreciative of George and Tyvon for making good on their word. I know first hand, other companies would not have taken the time and effort so I am very thankful for their open communication and follow up. read more

I wanted to give an honest review weeks after installation. The turf was properly and promptly installed. The installers were genuine and were willing to answer any questions. I was in communication with the owner "T". The owner helped me thru the process. The installation was governed and oversaw by him. I am on the second floor and we had to use a heavy duty crane. Seeing how he managed the crane and installation is partly the reason why I am giving this review. I felt safe the whole time and I never second guessed my investment. George came out and gave us a quote and provided excellent info on the various types of turf that were available. Who knew there were so many options! Ultimately we chose 94 oz for our backyard and my family loves it. We chose George and his team because he was responsive, honest, and worked to accommodate our needs. Another company actually came in with a lower quote but we liked George better and he was able to match and beat their price. George got us scheduled in within a week and the job was completed in a single day. The crew he sent out was very professional and hard working. George and his crew are great! Removed a tree planted in concrete and surrounding brick without damaging any of the surrounding concrete and then leveled it out for turf install. George even squeezed us in on short notice. Great attention to detail too. First turf that was delivered his crew determined wasn't up to their standards so instead of installing it hoping we wouldn't notice, they pointed it out and had new turf delivered and installed next day. read more

We got our job done a few weeks I ago. I've been so busy enjoying the new backyard I didn't have time to write this review. First off Tyvon and his crew weee extremely professional. We have a gazebo in the backyard and they worked around it and moved it to accommodate the above ground pool I was having installed. They did beautiful work and answered all of my questions. As new comers to the artificial turf game I searched all over the place for referrals. Stay Green Turf kept coming up so I decided to reach out. The awesome office manager gave me tons of information and explained how the walkthrough/estimate would work and actually set us up for the next day to come out. You have seen the name George in several reviews for Cali Green (now Stay Green) and he is as great as mentioned. George walked us through the different weights/heights as well as the warranty info and answered all of our concerns about having a Great Dane and new puppy trouncing on the grass. Less than 5 days later the Stay Green crew showed up promptly and were professional through out the entire installation (less than 8 hours; removed the old sod and install of everything else). They were courteous, cleaned up everything and produced a fantastic new lawn for us. Our dogs love it, we love it, and it has absolutely brought the yard together. I cannot recommend George and his company more and plan to do business with them again in the future. read more

Recently had them over to install a putting green plus an additional area of just artificial grass. George and team were excellent. Communicated well during installation and estimation visits and certainly priced well for the product and professionalism you get in return. George (Veteran) was working on commercial and residential sales: educating customers on what to look for in a quality turf, installations, designing one-of-a-kind landscape and creating custom putting greens. At Staygreenturf we enjoy working on solving problems at challenging installs; hiring qualified installers with ample experience and a commitment to customer service and making sure customers had access to the best product at the best prices. Today, we offer all customers the flexibility to choose the turf and the design they like best. No job is considered too big (experienced in commercial and school fields) or too small (dog runs and patios are always welcomed). Estimates are always free, and design is always included for customers.

His team was courteous, clean, professional, started and finished on time, and all the other things you look for. They moved all our garden boxes, disassembled our trampoline and put it back together. The work product was fantastic as you can see by the pictures. But what really made them stand apart was their attention to detail and their work ethic. Everyone on the job was genuinely happy to be there and actively looking for the next thing to do. From the very first meeting with Sep, I knew I was dealing with someone who actually does this for a living and takes pride in his work. Sep speaks clear English (important very important, native speaker, believe me), took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions patiently, and made thoughtful suggestions that I hadn't even considered (like leaving the border for example, I wanted to leave but he suggested to remove). At no point did I feel pressured. Instead, I felt educated and confident in the decisions we were making. By the end of our first meeting, I trusted him completely. He even suggested to get more quotes but I did not feel a need to. He absolutely impressed me. He is very PERSONAL and has extremely well disposition. He brought samples the fist estimate meeting! Helped me narrow it down, asked questions I even did not think about. I had tree guys giving me estimates but my daughter after meeting Sep said "no no no comparison Mom, he is the guy, the unicorn tells me he is the guy" During the process the crew encountered the problem that stump from the dead tree was not removed even though I paid the other company to remove it! It was not done! Sep immediately reacted found a company, called them and they came within 2 hours to remove the huge dead stump. Sep's crew did amazing work, hauled everything away, cleaned up the entire area, and then transformed our backyard with beautiful artificial turf. The amount of work they completed was incredible. During the project I was honestly nervous because the yard looked like a construction zone, but they knew exactly what they were doing. The finished result exceeded my expectations. Our backyard looks larger, cleaner, and so much more inviting. It completely transformed the space. What impressed me most was the professionalism, communication, and attention to detail from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard, kept me informed, and genuinely cared about the quality of the final result. I told Sep that I would like to do it asap, he understood and scheduled me immediately. I had contractors coming for quote and then disappearing, or even worse, starting the job and disappearing! These guys are great. I am in the development and construction business. When I wanted to install turf in the front yard and the parkway (the planted between the sidewalk and street) of my residence, I met with and received proposals from eight separate turf companies (all Yelp highly rated). I asked each specific and probing question and required each contractor to clearly define the project and their proposed scope of work. Stay Green Turf easily distinguished themselves from the crowd, Tyvon answered all my question in a clear and direct manner, had a can-do attitude and did not load up the proposal with gratuitous adds. When it was time for Stay Green to install, their crew was professional and highly detail oriented. My project required cutting and laying turf around: pavers, in-ground low voltage lights, a water feature and 50-year-old tree roots. It was evident that their installers took great pride in their work - as they did a superlative job. I have never written a Yelp review, and may never again. I dealt with George and Tyvon during the estimate stage. Both were very cordial and not pushy sales persons which I appreciated. They answered my questions and showed me the different samples of turf that I could use for a putting green. The company is veteran owned and give veteran discounts. I went with Stay Green Turf because of price and quality. Their turf carries an 18 year, not prorated warranty. They also committed to a two-day installation. Another company claimed that they would install in only one day but seeing what work that went into prepping and install I am happy with George's crew. Fernando the crew chief was very friendly and worked with me on the shape and placement of the holes. He even worked with me on the undulations and difficulty of the putts and gave me ample area for chipping. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Stay Green Turf. George and Tyvon were fantastic. They came to the property the very next day to give an estimate. They were on-time and professional. We needed ~1600 sqft installed in the back yard of our Culver City house. The price quoted was comparable to the other 6 places we had give estimates but they were one of the few who showed up on time. Stay Green had turf samples that appeared similar to real grass that the other companies didn't (even when we asked them to find similar ones). They were able to install the turf days after we picked them as the company. The crew that showed up to work was large, friendly, and professional. They worked hard. When the concrete demolition turned into a much harder job, George and Tyvon stuck with their price. The turf looks fantastic, everyone is impressed, but most importantly the kids love it. I wish we would have found them sooner as we used a different company for our backyard and it was painstaking. He is communicative and flexible, which is hard to find among other turf companies.
