I had a great experience working with Stay Green Turf and their crew. I received a response within minutes of sending the request and Tyvon was on site within the hour to provide me the quote. The quote was comparable to the two others I acquired, and it was professional presented to me via email. Tyvon was readily available and was prompt to respond to all my questions. His crew completed the job on time as proposed in their quote. We were satisfied with the final product and would definitely recommend.
Tyvon (owner) and his crew (led by Fernando) on my job were one of the hardest working people I have hired for our home renovation, across all projects. Tyvon was and still is super responsive, even after the fact, and Fernando was on-time everyday and communicated well every day during the week they were here, even during a heat wave. Tyvon explained every detail very clearly and price-matched competitors on the turf and gopher mesh, without compromising quality. He was able to start on the Monday after I signed with him on a Friday. That was what made me switch to his crew even after I was originally going to go with someone else. His responsiveness and fast start date was exactly what I needed. He came and checked on the progress often and would problem solve along with his crew if an issue arose. I had deep-rooted weeds they had to clear and that resulted in using almost twice the amount of road base. His total never changed and that spoke volumes to me of his integrity. I was happy to add on a bit more to the scope of work because I could see they took their work seriously and would not take shortcuts. Lastly, I have to point out that they came back out a couple weeks later to replace a paver that the crew broke during installation and they worked just as hard on that as they did the turf. They never complained about the heat or the difficulty of the work. And Tyvon himself pointed out the broken paver before I had even noticed it myself. I cannot stress their work ethic and honesty enough. Them being a local crew (to me) was just cherry on top but they do travel far and wide as well. I have already recommended them to my own family and friends.
Tyvon and his crew landscaped our backyard a month before this review. I wanted to wait and see how things held up after some time and the work they did is still perfect! Tyvon was quick to come out, give us an estimate and get his team started very soon after we signed on. We installed a putting green and DG for the rest of the yard. The work crew was so punctual, diligent and courteous. Tyvon constantly communicated with us via phone/text and he showed up each day to ensure we got what we needed and wanted. He was even flexible when we requested some cacti to fill out the back space. The work was completed in less than a week. Since then we've been able to finally enjoy our backyard. For the price, speed, quality of materials and services, I can't imagine working with anyone else!
We are so happy we got SGT to do the job. After getting 3 quotes, it was a given that we'd go with Tyvon and his crew. They did an absolute amazing job. Our front and back yards looks so great. Since the install I find myself wanting to be at the backyard more LOL. Our dogs love it too. Can't wait to have our friends and family over so they can see the awesome transformation. Tyvon was very responsive and attentive to our needs (questions) and was clear on the process from start to finish. Very informative as this was something new to us. He got us on calendar so quick as we wanted to get the job done before the holidays as we hosting our family Christmas this year. His crew, the guys were respectful and professional. Tyvon and his crew did an amazing job transforming our backyard. We previously had decomposed granite, which was dirty and not very functional. We have a dog and a baby and wanted a space that better worked for our family. I ended up getting 5 quotes and not only was Tyvon by far the best price, but he was responsive and accommodating to our specific requests. We were able to get our work scheduled for that week and the crew completed the job within the day. They did a great and thorough job with each step of the process. We (especially our dog) are enjoying our backyard and look forward to using it! We would recommend Tyvon and his crew to anyone who is looking to get artificial turf installed.

Go with Tyvon and his team! We have always wanted green grass, but just couldn't seem to grow it. After interviewing 4 contractors, we picked Stays Green Turf and could not be happier with how the project turned out. Tyvon's team was always on time, friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. Our project supervisor, George, was the best and even designed a dog bone piece from our left over turf for us to keep! So many of our neighbors have stopped on their walks to take a look at our new front yard and ask questions. We will definitely be referring anyone interested to Stays Green Turf!

Much like you right now reading this, I started contemplating artificial turf early in the year. Initial pricing seemed like it would be a significant investment. Naturally I was just feeling it all out. When the timing was right, I used yelp to check out businesses. I knew I wanted a smaller operation that I could trust would be here and not out seeking another job, while my job sits. These guys were among the first that showed up to bid the job. Gave them the particulars, they offered suggestions, and within a day offered a good quote. Stays Green Turf not only provided very fair pricing and scheduling, but by far gave me the best feeling that I could trust them. I had just had a large concrete job done, and needed someone that could work with that. Tyvon made me comfortable, and was more than happy to go with them. They showed up right on time, ok a little earlier, on the day the project started, including Tyvon. It was minutes before they got started, and they did not let up. Hard working crew! The attention to detail was just amazing. Again, they offered suggestions knowing that this was part 2 of a 3 part project for me. My soil was less than cooperative but they just took in stride with a great attitude. The finish was just jaw dropping. They went the extra mile to fit up the turf tight around tedious areas. Just meticulous attention to detail. On the last day they stuck around a little longer to finish up , and leave the site cleaner than they started. We could not be happier. Also, being the envy of the neighborhood feels pretty damn good. The value that STG provides is just amazing. They are doing their work at a more than reasonable price. They do not sacrifice quality of materials or workmanship. Customer satisfaction and appreciation is at the top of Tyvon, and his crews, mind. Tyvon and his team were amazing. Got a bid on Friday(less than HD and much better quality)and by Tuesday the project was done. The 3 employees that installed the turf were very detailed, knowledgeable and proactively offered suggestions. I couldn't be happier. Tyvon(owner) provided a no pressure consultation, explained everything that would happen, communicated frequently and exceeded expectations. Bonus - you don't see any seems anywhere.

Great turf team!! Did an absolutely beautiful job on our backyard. Came in with a detailed bid and schedule. They set area drains, leveled the backyard, set the base and then BOOM the turf! Stellar install with no seams and consistent from front to back! Will definitely use again. read more

This review is long overdue. Tyvon and his team were not only fast and professional, but they really went above and beyond the original scope of work to deliver an excellent final product. There were several things that stood out that made my experience with Stays Green so great: - I was getting quotes back in November during the peak of the pandemic. Everyone was improving their homes so some companies didn't even want to bother doing in-person quotes (ie you can't see samples until you commit). Tyvon came the same day I called him. He was responsive by text and phone throughout the process. - The difference between the highest and lowest quote I received was over $1,000 (similar quality turf) on my very small project. Tyson's quote was on the more reasonable end of the spectrum. - Tyvon included sanitizing measures (old turf smelled of dog urine), extra sand, etc that other companies were going to charge me extra for. - While most companies couldn't perform the work for 4-6 weeks, Tyvon's team scheduled me in within a week. Just after the Thanksgiving break. - Part of the scope included removing the old turf and some dirt to level out the ground. Upon removal of the old turf, there was an unexpected drain they had to regrade around, turning our half-day job into a full-day job. The guys shrugged it off and did the extra work without charging me a penny more. I would highly recommend Tyvon at Stays Green Turf and will definitely use him again when I take on my next landscaping project. My understanding is that STAY Green Turf without the "s" is his old company so you can read more of his reviews there. read more

Tyvon and his team did an outstanding job on the turf install in our backyard! Tyvon was very responsive and flexible with our changing schedule, which we really appreciated. His team showed up on time and did quality work plus finished on time. Tyvon even came out a few times to show us different turf options before his team started the work. They did all the leveling as well, which we were originally really stressed about because we had just finished construction and had a lot of mounds and clay dirt. His team was not phased, they were really efficient and did a great job leveling and grading for the water flow. The turf really transformed our backyard! We highly recommend Stays Green Turf to anyone looking for a great price, high quality work, and a ton of experience in the business. read more

This crew was amazing to work with through and through. Highly responsive throughly the process, very efficient, and I'm very satisfied with the quality. In addition, they were 10-20% more affordable than side by side quotes from large and smaller competitors. I'm thinking of doing my front yard too and will definitely be giving these guys a call! Tyvon was great to work with. With our first meeting to get an estimate, he was so detailed in explaining their process, his measurements of what we wanted, and what type of artificial grass we were looking for. Communication was clear and in great timing. After having multiple companies come out to get estimates, we went with Stays Green Turf. And we are so happy we did. They started the job as soon as the following week. The installers worked so fast and precise. They were great to work with as well. They kept everything cleaned once they were done each day with the job. The work was done is 2 days!!!! Overall we would use this company again when we redo our backyard. Over all, this company and the employee were amazing to work with. And their product and process was perfect. read more

Our front turf started developing ripples from improper installation and was also in dire need of cleaning. Tyvon & team did an amazing job on my front yard 3 years ago so I had them come back this past week to do my back yard + side alley + back alley! I got a quote and the work completed within the same week and it looks amazing! The team is professional and knowledgeable, worked really hard for two days straight to get the job done and left every thing cleaned up when they left. OMG- this is a no brainer- get your artificial turf installed from this guy. Tyvon is on it. He came the very next day and thoroughly explained the whole process. He will educate you. I was needing estimates to do my Mom's front lawn. I had artificial turf placed at my home (front and backyard) a few years ago did not get as much info from that installer as I did with Tyvon - I hired him on the spot! AND had my turf installed the same week! The installers were hard workers (no slackers here) organized, thorough, and neat! (much appreciated by my 90 year old Mom!) Various neighbors kept coming by asking about my grass- one asked if it was real! We are very happy and highly recommend. read more

In fact I didn't even get other quotes because Tyvons price was fair and reasonable given the extensive research I had already done and because of his professionalism. I cannot recommend Tyvon and his staff enough. They are very professional and friendly. His team did an excellent job. Tyvon came highly recommended from a good friend and after reviewing a few of the jobs his team completed and reviewing pricing we hired Tyvon. The turf looks beautiful. He has many samples to choose from and his prices are very competitive. Tyvon and his team saved my patio by replacing a turf install that I had done myself a year ago. This was a small job for his team but they did an excellent job. I am no longer experiencing the drainage issues that I had been dealing with and the turf is a much better quality. Very professional. read more
