I've had 3 PT sessions so far for vertigo and teeth clenching/jaw tightening (possible TMJ). My first visit was with Nicole and wow. She really listens well and cares for you as a patient. She takes detailed notes of your concerns and she asks questions so that she can better support you. Nicole is super polite, encouraging, professional, and smart. She not only wants to help her patients, but she wants to educate them. I'm very impressed at how good she is at her job. When we have our sessions, I learn so much from her and I leave feeling less in pain. Her bed side manner is very good and I truly feel like we are friends! We share experiences and advice for one another and I enjoy talking story with her. I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have Nicole as my PT. Their copay is a bit higher than other places so I wanted to take as few sessions as I possibly could to qualify for my MRI. The parking here is awful so I probably wouldn't choose this place again if I had to choose another PT place even though it is a convenient location for me. The quality of care was awesome, they do seem to care and want to do a good job working on you and do seem to want to have you get better. They aren't very good at following up on you or remembering you or getting back to you. I had to call to remind them to send me instructions when they couldn't send it during the session and it took a week after several follow ups to get it. read more

Been trying to get an appointment here for almost a month. Left 3 voice-mails. Did the online appointment request 3 times. Spoke with one person after attempt 2 who said that i needed a DR referral before setting up appointment. I told them my doctor will do whatever referral I need but they refused to schedule without it. I got my referral now, which the doctor said normally they call/email for it and still can't reach anyone there. How they have 5 stars is beyond me. I walk past them every 4 months for a checkup at another office in the building. I really wanted to use their facilities but it seems as they have so much business they don't want to answer phones, return calls or emails. Maybe someone in charge will see this and address the shortcomings with staff communication. read more

I've really enjoyed my last 2 PTs here :) My back gets triggered every now and then so finding a PT that's helpful is really important to me. Both Rachel Miyoga & Jason Cabe have been a tremendous help in my recovery to not just help fix the issue but has taught me how to not be back again lol. The office is clean and they also do cupping which was greatttt. I got a dr referral and it does take a hot minute before being scheduled but that just shows that they're great! Downside is you have to pay for parking. $1 for every 30 minutes. They do not validate. There is a shopping center across the street but it's a busy intersection and if you're injured, it's not worth saving yourself $3-4 to park there instead. I had a great experience with Matt but I ended up moving to another physical therapy place at the shopping center. Free parking there and it is a significant savings not having to pay for parking 2x week. read more

Xiaoyuan Zhou has had many appointments with me due to possible bilateral weakness of the ears. She provided nothing less than quality care. Not only helping me physically but emotionally as well. I did loving having the option to try to stay consistently with one therapist or I could just see whoever because some people like the consistency while others don't mind. I recently finished two months of physical therapy for a shoulder issue and I'm so pleased and happy with the results. When I started I wasn't able to put my arm and hand behind my back for almost a year, and now I can put my bra on like a normal woman. It's the small things that matter and this place really helped me in my healing. I've never had therapy until now so I don't have a comparison but I would go back to Stayfit in a heartbeat if I ever need therapy in the future. I came once at the wrong time but they were able squeeze me in so I didn't have to come back. All the staff is friendly, and I had several folks who assisted in my therapy but I was mostly taken care of by Thant, who did my initial and final consult. He's a super cool guy and he explained things to me in layman terms so I understood why I had a stuck shoulder and what needed to be done to unstuck it. After having experienced a few different places for PT, I believe Stayfit is the best. Chip is extremely knowledgeable and sincere. He listens carefully to his clients and tests and measures very carefully to determine how best to treat you. The therapy is not something you can do by yourself at home. That was my experience with most other therapists. They show you an exercise and just watch you do it. Chip gives you exercises/stretches you can do at home and explains how and why to do each. My doctor said that I needed physical therapy for my sciatica pain and she said it'll take awhile to get me an appointment. Well surprise, surprise, surprise! I got an appointment today. Saw Carol who is wonderful. Come to finds out we have a lot in common. Then we got stated on finding why I'm having this problem. She did some strength test...I failed miserably. then she tried to twist me and no no no...The pain, the pain, the pain. Well, after all that, she needs me to do a couple of exercise. Lol..me exercise. That's like swearing to my ears.. But she said that's my homework till I see her again. I need to strengthen my back muscles because the sciatica starts from there and then goes down my butt and legs. Carol's great, so if you need physical therapy and need help...ask for her! read more

As my journey toward recovery draws near, I'd first like to take this opportunity to thank the StayFit staff for their hospitality and professionalism, especially Reid, my physical therapist and Zach, my massage therapist. I arrived in their care after another driver had t-boned me and my husband while driving eastbound on Salt Lake Boulevard on April 20th of this year. It was raining hard that day and the other driver had admitted, later, to the insurance reps that she had not seen us at all as she crossed over two lanes into the middle lane (where we were) from the intersection at Peltier. After filing a police report, she drove off in her vehicle with some damage to her bumper. Unfortunately, for us, we had to call for a tow because my car was not driveable. I could also start to feel some discomfort in my neck almost immediately after the accident due to whiplash, which was officially diagnosed by my doctor a few days later. The point of impact was on the passenger side of the vehicle where I was sitting. So, the majority of the injuries that I suffered were on my right side. My husband was driving. We were blessed to not have our kids riding along with us at the time. The first month was really painful. There were weeks where my right arm, back, and neck felt very fatigued that I could barely hold up my head and walk upright. Reid was very informative-- educating me about my injuries and how the body works. He thoroughly explained why I was feeling the way that I was with each visit. In fact, both Reid and Zach would start off asking, "How are you feeling today?" Then, they'd explain the treatment and why we were doing certain things before actually getting into it, which I appreciated. They worked well together-- noticeable by their obvious communication with one another sharing their notes about my injuries before I had arrived for my appointments. So, Zach already knew which areas needed more attention as far as loosening up those muscles. Then, I'd do strengthening exercises with Reid to work on correcting my posture. Gradually, I regained my mobility and range and most of my pain has subsided. The only injury that still persists today is the original pain and discomfort between my neck and shoulder area that I first felt at the time of the accident. Hopefully, it can get resolved before I'm discharged. Because of this experience, I am now more aware of my body and know how to take care of it better while I'm home. Reid and Zach has left me with a wealth of useful tips and information that I'll keep with me always. Last, but not least, best wishes to Zach as he'll be graduating soon with his Master's degree from The University of Hawaii at Manoa in December! Then, he's off to the mainland in 2018 to earn his Doctoral degree to become a physical therapist :) read more

I was referred here by my work comp physician and I have been very happy here. The physical therapists care a lot about getting me better and trying to get rid of my back pain. i also have massage therapy with Carmen, and I love talking to her for the hour I'm with her twice a week. We have good talks about food and travel. I'm very comfortable here and I am treated like family. My therapy is custom fitted according to my symptoms. I have a regimen of stretching and core exercises. My main PT is Jared and he is very concerned for my well being and trying to get me back to where I was before I was injured. 06/16/20 - 06/27/20 My 87 y/o grandma was referred from her PCP to do some physical therapy and we both really didn't know what to expect. We had the pleasure of working with Taylor Lau, who was so patient with my grandma and explained every exercise and activity thoroughly. He gave her take home handouts and "homework" to do on days she doesn't have PT, which was really helpful. The entire staff at this facility is so incredibly friendly and welcoming! I called to make an appt and whoever works the front desk, has ZERO customer service skills!! She seriously needs to be re-trained or look into another profession that doesn't deal with people. She was extremely rude and short with me during the entire conversation and seemed like I was bothering her by making the appt. Once I made the appt, she mentioned at the very end of the conversation that there was a parking fee at there facility. Umm, isn't that something that should be mentioned in the beginning of the conversation?? I've been to other physical therapy clinics where there's free parking so once I told her never mind and to just cancel the appt, she just hung up on me!! Aloha !! So I've been asked to do a review on Stay FIT Physical Therapy LLC. I've been with them for two months being referred by Dr. Atilio Avino a foot and leg specialist. My Physical Therapist was a lady by the name of Kristie. She is very well knowledgeable, personable and good listener. My problem was both my leg muscles and toes were always curling and twisting and in the most awesomeness of pain. And also left leg, knee,thai,hip hurt me a lot too. Kristie, did a lot of Physical Therapy with me and it really help me out a lot with pain. She also gave me home work too, on sheets of paper that I could do wen I'm at home. I have had so much physical therapy I have lost count. I've liked some and not liked others. Neil at StayFIT is very professional. My doctor recommended him. He takes the time to explain everything to me. I'm stubborn. There, I said it. I don't like to exercise anymore. I don't like things that make me hurt more. Neil reassures me about my exercises and always reminds me that I shouldn't be in pain more than an hour. We have changed some of our programs because of this. I always get one on one treatment here. Neil always gives me a print out of the exercises he wants me to do at home. My mind isn't as good as it used to be and I forget without these printouts. This place is farther than I wanted to drive, but I am getting much better care. I highly recommend them to all my friends and most especially to my fellow Yelpers. read more

I was a patient at StayFIT Physical Therapy for lower back pain. I wish I could give more than five stars. The staff are professional knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend Erick Moon, he such a great listener, he adjust he's approach base on my feed back. He was very patient with me and always made sure I was comfortable and not feeling any pain while performing the exercises. Erick used a wide variety of treatment methods and helped me learn how to build strength and correct my posture. Erick was instrumental in my recovery for lower back pain. Before coming here I cut back on many of my usual daily activities and social life hoping to get better. I tried home remedies but continued to ached. I increased the pain pills and nothing worked. After a few appointment my posture improved and my lower back pain went from a 10+ to a 3. Today was my last day and I have no pain at all. Recieved a call today from here because I missed my daughters appointment. I apologized because it was my fault as I had a bad migraine and forgot to set my alarm to get up. The receptionist right away was rude when I asked what time her appointment was her response was "now". I said ok well I'm not gonna be able to make it, "I'm sorry can I go ahead and reschedule?", she huffed at me and responded very rudely "So you want to reschedule? Well I guess if you want to." Before she could say anything else I stopped her and responded back at this point very upset, "hey I don't have to reschedule if you don't want me to, but you're not gonna sit here on the phone and be rude to me." She right away changed her tone and attitude and apologized, but damage was done. She left a bad taste in my mouth with this clinic. If she was brave enough to think she could get away with it with me, I wonder how many other patients she has done it with. I'm calling our insurance carrier and seeing who else excepts is because I don't want to take my child there if this is how their receptionist treat people on the phone. Will also be calling her office manager tomorrow and filing a formal complaint. read more

You get personal attention, you never feel rushed, you get help on how to increase overall fitness as well as with the specific problem you are visiting for. My son, John-Anthony came here after his shoulder surgery to get it back on track and prepare for his sophomore season of football. Throughout his sessions, the staff were really friendly to him and his physical trainer was able to do the right exercises to work certain parts of the shoulder. Everything about the place and people were amazing. I was always greeted with open arms and smiles on their faces. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to go in and they made every second of my session productive. There wasn't a day where the room wasn't filled with laughter...they made me feel like family! I was never pushed to the extreme but I was consistently motivated to do my best and to go within my limits. They helped bring up my confidence in what I was capable to do. My therapists always had my protocol at hand and before I knew it, because of their constant motivation, I became ahead of my protocol. My level of pain to my right shoulder was a 9-10, extremely painful and causing sleepless nights. I completed 6 sessions with Kristie. They were great for reminder calls about my appointment. I waited no longer than 10 minutes before I was seen. I was impressed with how personable Kristie was and how good of a listener she was. She remembered our discussions from previous sessions. I was more impressed with Her magic touch with her sessions. Kristie knew exactly what she she was doing and reached the exact locations that were a problem. I came here with massive headaches due to horrible neck pain. I also had stiff neck with little range of motion that I didn't realize was so bad till I got the measurements. Randomly and inconsistently I would have neck pains multiple times a day and medications never worked. I also had this knot on my left shoulder that was there for as long as I could remember. After completing 11 sessions here with Kristie (9 sessions) and Reid (2 sessions), I had full range of motion back with my neck, no random headaches at all, and the knot I thought would never go away has gotten tinier than ever. I've had massages to help reduce the tension as well as stretches that helped me 100%. 5 stars! I've completed my session back in November 2015 but only now I wrote the review. My bad! This review is LONG OVER DUE! Candace and Thant are great! I was in a car accident back in 2017 and I had bad neck injuries and Candace and Thant have been taking care ever since. At first I was hesitant about going to PT because I didn't know how well it worked but Candace and Thant definitely worked their magic on my neck. I saw them twice a week for a few months and they were always so gentle and aware of how my pain was. Not to mention their office is always so clean. Being in the medical field that is very important to me and I was impressed. Fast forward to a few years later my back and neck started to become achy due to pregnancy and I decided to go back they helped once again. I'm very very particular when it comes to my back and especially my neck especially now being pregnant. I can honestly say I trust Candace and Thant definitely!
