I have been to this massage parlor at least monthly for the past several years. Sometimes more often. They are absolutely amazing! It is so easy to schedule. The place is extremely clean. They are always polite. Every masseuse is nothing short of exceptional. I always received the full 90 minutes (But, I am also always on time ) I have received massages from almost every employee and they are all phenomenal! I had some that I saw regularly but never felt the need to request for them because they are ALL so incredibly talented. I wasted money for years at Massage Envy as their employees don't even compare to what the employees at PIN Thai massage can do! They don't even come close! Also, their pricing is WAY more affordable once you consider everything it includes. I work a laborious job and these people have helped me to stay healthy, decrease joint and muscular pain, my circulation is better, I breathe better, I sleep better, and I feel better overall. They are a whole body wellness consultant. As a result, they have helped me to make more money at work! While they probably can't advertise it, these people are healers! I know, because I'm living proof. I am so thankful for their services and continue to go even though I live in town now. read more

Disappointing and unprofessional experience. The massage itself felt inattentive and disjointed, with frequent pauses that made it seem like the therapist was losing focus or even dozing off. The session was also interrupted by the therapist's phone ringing mid-massage. To make matters worse, after leaving a standard% tip despite the disappointment massage experience, we were directly told it was "too little" and pressured to give more. Completely inappropriate. After seeing similar complaints in other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. Would not return. read more

If you prefer deep tissue massage with lots of pressure, this is your place. Personally, I prefer lots of pressure but this was probably one of the most painful massages I've ever received. I have bruising to prove it. The location is also not very clean. The floors mostly, including the carpet, seem to have been neglected for sometime. read more

Jackie is goddess!! My neck and shoulders were so tight, they were cramping. Had a very underwhelming massage, so I decided to check this place out on Monday. Jackie is super strong!! She loosened up my shoulders, which were causing me too loose sleep, in just an hour. I fell asleep so hard, she had trouble waking me up... and I'm usually a really light sleeper. Lol. I decided to go back tonight to get the rest of my back worked on. I feel so much lighter, not all heavy and weighed down. I have great massuses, but no one ever gotten my stubborn knots out in one session. 10 out of 10!! Would recommend!! read more

Very disappointing. I'm a frequent customer at the Century Plaza location and never really had an issue there. We didn't want to drive all the way into town so we decided to try one of their closer locations. BIG MISTAKE. Granted they accepted walk-ins or same day service, this visit was unpleasant. We asked for a couples massage (60 mins). We were put into a room where only one person would be able to be stepped on. One person did hard pressure and the other only did soft to medium pressure. The massages were okay. Not the best we've had but not the worst either. However upon check out the lady rudely DEMANDED more cash tip. What we gave to her and the other lady (worker) was not to her liking and she basically dug into my purse for more. We would NOT recommend this location or return ever again. read more

Place had a decent massage was expecting more Thai techniques and little deeper massage but what I got was more of a Chinese massage from a Chinese woman that just couldn't get the pressure right. Such a truly confusing experience here, I hope it was just a fluke. I'll update my review on a follow-up visit to confirm... This was my first time trying this place out, as I've heard good things from the Pin Thai "chain" on the island. The Aiea town square location is closest to where I live so I tried here first recently. Parking is plentiful, the therapist I had was super nice at first, the atmosphere/privacy was great, the massage table was very comfortable, the massage itself was very thorough and relaxing, and the availability of a shower before the massage made freshening up easy after a long day. Everything fell apart at the end of the session. I asked before beginning to confirm a 90-minute session. It was shortened to under 60 minutes. The therapist asked me about tips before I could even get dressed, did not give me a straight base-cost for the session to determine a fair tip, and was constantly trying to get me to tip more. I only found out after leaving that the base cost is supposed to be $70/hour--I was told much higher. My effective 40% tip was frowned upon (seriously???), and to make matters worse I was implicitly accused of using counterfeit money to pay. The therapist forced me to walk with her to a local store to check the bill I used, and even when it was confirmed as legitimate she still handed the bill back and had me pay via Venmo instead. I later brought the same bill to another business to verify it being legitimate and it was confirmed there too to be perfectly legal tender. This is absolutely unacceptable and I can only chalk this up to being a fluke incident, as none of the above should ever happen in a legit business. I will not share the therapist's name out of respect in hoping this is addressed privately with the staff without incident. I sincerely hope my next visit goes better. Otherwise, be warned if you choose to this location, or any of the others for that matter. read more

NOT FRIENDLY TO DISABLED INDIVIDUALS If i could give this place 0 stars i would but unfortunately that's not possible. On 10/07/2023 my husband and i showed up for our couples massage therapy appointment along with my medical alert service dog who has been fully trained for over 2 years now. immediately we were greeted with one of the most awkward interactions in my life, instead of being welcoming they made me feel like i was inconveniencing them by being there with my medical equipment. we were told to sit and wait, after 20 minutes goes by, someone else comes and asks if we have been helped yet which i replied with a "i don't know" because i genuinely didn't know what to respond. she kindly showed us to the room where we will be massaged and directed us where to put our clothes. my husband and i got undressed as we were told, i set my service dog in a spot where i believed she would be out of the way to the best of my ability since the rooms are very tight knit and not accommodating to people with disabilities or medical equipment. we waited for another 20 minutes under the blankets without our clothes and eventually that same female staff comes in and tells me my dog is a problem for the massage therapist. that they are scared of my dog even though she is highly trained and was already fast asleep on the floor next to my table. this particular staff asked me if i would ACCOMODATE to THEM by either going and keeping my dog in the car or if she can lay outside of the room while they massaged us. i immediately replied with a no as that affects her ability to task for my medical health and puts her life at risk because i cannot keep an eye on her outside of the room along with it being way too hot outside for her to stay in the car. i was absolutely appalled at this point, after trying to confidently explain that it is blatant discrimination against me because per ADA Law (American with Disabilities Act) a FEDERAL law that protects service dogs and their handlers that a fear of dogs is not a reasonable cause to remove the service dog or separate them from their handler. eventually she left the room and a male worker came in, mind you my husband and i haven't even had a chance to put our clothes back on as we were directed to take them off for the massage. i wasn't even asked if i was comfortable with a male that isn't a massage therapist to be in the room while unclothed. he basically came in and told us that the massage therapist are refusing to service us BECAUSE of my service dog being in here. per federal law, service dogs are treated as medical equipment, therefor they are refusing me service due to my medical equipment needed for a disability. they basically told me that if my dog was a smaller breed it wouldn't be a problem. i chose the correct breed for my medical needs and again that's not a good enough excuse per law. after i asked the male staff to leave the room so my husband and i can get dressed, as we were leaving i attempted to ask for the owners information so i can reach out to them personally about this situation, i was handed a flyer for the business with no owner's contact information on it. after asking again for the contact i was told directly "that's how you contact the owner, by writing a review." which is insane to me, i will probably never receive compensation for this discrimination. i really don't post reviews often, especially negative ones, however this experience was enough for me because it basically removes my basic human rights and treats me like an inconvenience. my husband and i had to pay for a babysitter to be able to go out and do this, we never received a massage and the entire interaction still lasted for over an hour. waste of my time and i have the entire interaction on video. i will be contacting my lawyer because the entire interaction was extremely illegal on their part and just downright dehumanizing towards me. here is the direct link to the ADA law - https://www.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/ read more

10/5/23 DONT COME HERE. They are the worst, they overcharged me. I checked my bank account and was wondering why it was $100 over what the listed price for a 60 min massage was. The massage was alright but they shorted my time! I got there at 7:25 pm left at 8:10pm, only a 45 min massage and they basically double charged me. I called the same night like 15 minutes after I left, so I could get a breakdown of the receipt. The guy said his system takes long to load and he'll call me back. No call after 30 minutes, so I called back. He then said he has to get the OWNER to pull up the receipt and will call me back the next day, he has my number on file. Why does it take long to look at a receipt that was done the same day?? I was patient and said ok..they didn't call the next day. So I called, no answer. They have my number on file so I'm sure they knew why I was calling. Called the next day and the day after that again, still NO ANSWER! It's been almost a week already with no call back. There is no customer service, you would think that a place that specializes in services and helping the customer that they would be good at their job. LISTEN TO THE STAR RATING. That's why they have only 2 1/2 stars I should've listened, it was just the closest to me and I really needed a massage that night, my fav massage Zudao in pearl Kai was booked. Update: The owner of Pin Thai called me and explained that she was unaware of my situation, as the workers from Aiea didn't inform her of what was going on and she was away on the mainland. She was very apologetic and offered a full refund or get a free romantic couples massage with her overseeing it personally at her main location in Century Center Plaza. She was very empathetic to my situation so I am giving them a second chance. Not Aiea tho, her main location which I saw has a good star rating. My appointment is set for Monday and I will update again afterwards. Update 10/9/23 Had the massage and it was great! The masseuse was very welcoming, greeted us at the door and made sure we were comfortable. The set up was amazing and It was the complete opposite experience, which I'm thankful for. The lady I had was so rude. I asked her if I could get her name so I could call to request for her again because she did an amazing job. She responds: " No! No need my name! You don't need to make an appointment with me." I was so pissed. I told the other lady how rude that was of her. I did nothing wrong to her but ask for her name. This past Friday night, March 17, 2023, while paying for my session with a credit card, the boss who was helping the massage person process the payment, asked if I would like to leave a tip. Just to be courteous I said ok 15% and I computed that to be $10 and change and told them. The boss then abruptly responded, "what about 15 or 20?" Dollars. Feeling pressured by the boss and in the presence of the massage person who said her name was Jean when I asked her earlier, I said "$12." And the two began murmuring something to each other in Thai language, and they were not courteous throughout the transaction as if they were in a rush. Asking for a specific tip amount is rude. Bad business practice. In retrospect I should have left 0 tip. The massage was okay but not great. I've gotten lots of legit massage work for over 30 years in Hawaii, NYC, California and in Asian countries. I was hoping to find a good massage place for me and my wife to go on a consistent basis, but the rude experience wiped out the possibility of returning to Pin Thai Town Square. read more

Came here in for my friend's birthday. There were three of us all together. The birthday girl and I were in the couples room and our other friend in the next room over. During our massage, we were talking and giggling. The masseuse shhh'ed us and told us we needed to be quiet because there was someone else next door. After the massage, when we were checking out, the girl checking us out asked me if I wanted to tip more because my other friend (the one in the other room) tipped more than I did. (She was in the bathroom) when we went outside, I told her what happened and she said that the lady asked her for more tip as well. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable experience.
