Different family members join us for dinner at Steady Kitchen and Taps at least every 3 weeks for over a year. I still think their food is excellent based on food presentation, fresh food ingredients (especially their salads), and tasty hamburgers. The owners are friendly and I always feel welcome despite being older than most of their customers.

How do you say no to beer cheese? Chill vibe, cold beer, definitely recommend if you like good food and craft beer. Might be the best nachos I've ever had.

    The juiciest smash burger ever!!!

This place has great music and very spacious, the seating is very comfortable ( love bench seating)l. The food is outstanding, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I usually don't like to go to places that don't serve you, but the husband found this spot and I am so glad we did. They have the best club sandwich, I have ever had. The sourdough bread was thick and toasted to perfection, the bacon thick and crispy and the grilled chicken breast was juicy. Tomatoes fresh and the lettuce was crispy too, and perfect Mayo ratio. Husband and the Philly and it did not disappoint, warning though... it comes out hot because it was made fresh just for you with a cheese pull that will make you smile. My son had the smash burger, and usually likes it plain (bread, meat, and cheese) but he ate the whole thing with their house sauce. The fries are shoestring, and come out fried to perfection, and your get a good size portion. The only complaint I have is the selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I mean come on, at least have tea or lemonade, I'm a thirsty girl with a thirsty kid. Room temperature water is just not going to do it and maybe talk to us and offer ice, it's a hot day! Still I have to go back to that perfect "Steady Club". It was amazing, we will be back to try more of your items, but don't get mad if I smuggle in my own thermos of ice cold lemonade! Thanks for the great food!

Love this local place! Live music, great food and drinks! Service is friendly and fast!

The Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls were awesome. They were so flavorful that you almost don't need the Chipotle Aioli they come with.

The wings were ok. They deep fry them and I didn't care for the texture. Also the Mango Habanero sauce was way too watery. Definitely not spicy.

I really wanted to like this place especially since they have a kitchen. As you first walk in, it feels impressive. We went to the bathroom first and my kids had a hard time just being in there. The bathroom smelled like porta potty that hadn't been cleaned in weeks on a hot construction site. Strike 1... The seating area looks great but then I got my heel stuck under the bench part. How does that even happen? I won't count that as a strike as it could have been a freak accident. But I would say, although it looks aesthetically pleasing. The benching in here is bizarre in the sense that there's that gap between the floor and the bottom of the bench. I ordered a flight and my husband tried two of their IPAs. He was absolutely disgusted by them both and out of the 14 years I've known him, I've never known him to say that about any beer. He's thinking it had gone bad but he said both were bad. Mine weren't that impressive in my opinion. Strike 2.... Food came out and it looked real tasty. The breakfast burger was good. I enjoyed it. The fries were nothing impressive. Very bland. My husband's quesadilla said it came with salsa and it was just a few chopped pieces of tomatoes . As I was admiring their decor and space, I looked up to see the large ceiling fans. Solid layer of dust. Strike 3... Was going to give this place 3 stars but then when I got home, my stomach started to turn and I spent some personal time in the bathroom getting rid of what just went in. between the smell of their restroom and the layer of dust on their fans, I'm completely turned off. Needless to say, I don't think we'll be coming back.

I had been here a while ago and my memory of it was that the food was better than the beer. Well the burgers and sandwiches are still good and I'm happy to report that our impressions of the beers were much higher. The food portions are quite large for a reasonable price. With the massive mound of freshly made kettle chips I had trouble finishing it all. All the golden crunchy sides here are freshly made and excellent. This is an order at the counter and then bring it out set up. It's also another brewery open for lunch during the week and selling food. We are always on the lookout for these places. It's also nice because there isn't much else around this area. As I said, we found the beers to be improved. Between the 4 of us we tried 7 different beers and liked them all.

If you're looking for a local spot to grab a bite to eat with a cold beer to chill out, this is a great place. The interior has an open layout that's airy and spacious. It gets great natural lighting during the day, and as the sun sets, it trades in that natural light for the warm glow of their interior lights. The food is solid a good value for the price! My friends and I came in expecting bar food, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of their kitchen. The wings and quesadillas were solid, and the wings especially had a good, crispy exterior. During my next visit, I'm going to definitely be ordering the pretzel. Beer selection was also good and staff is able to make recommendations based on your tastes. My entire group has a different and picky preference when it comes to beer, and each of us were able to find something we liked.

Taco Tuesday is a wonderful tradition in the United States where people come together to enjoy delicious tacos or Tex-Mex dishes, typically served in a tortilla, on Tuesday nights, and it's great to see restaurants offering special prices, making it a win-win situation for everyone. Remyzaya has Piano lessons on Tuesdays, and afterwards, they get to enjoy Taco Tuesday, which is really cool! Steady Taco serves amazing Street Tacos on Tuesday, making it a truly uplifting experience.

This is a spot I definitely want to come back to! I found this place after searching on yelp while visiting my friend in Garden Grove. It's located in a shopping mall, so it would be super easy to miss it! I'm a vegetarian and was happy to see a good amount of options to choose from. I came in hungry, so I ended up ordering: fried pickles, Cesar salad and a veggie sandwich. Everything was AMAZING. I was definitely shocked at how large the Cesar salad was, it is for sure a shareable item. The fried pickles were *chefs kiss* and the veggie sandwich was delicious! In terms of parking, there is a gym located in the same shopping area so it did take us a minute to find parking. Inside there are a ton of tables and their bathrooms are immaculate. You order at the counter, and they will give you a number and deliver the food to you when it's ready. Overall, a great experience!

    Nachos
    Lena K.

Found Steady on Yelp and decided to try it out since it wasn't too far and it was later in the evening and we were hungry. Never even noticed this place was here and I drive by all the time. I assumed it was new but the owner told me it's been a year in a half. Decided to try the nachos and a burger and split it with poutine fries. First of all the owners were super nice; Moni and Dennis. They took our order and let me try the sour beer. The location is kinda cool inside with random artwork on the walls. Cool different types of designs. Food: the nachos were okay. Kinda tasted like it was microwaved but the chips were toasty so probably not. I wish it had more beans. But all in all it was good. The burger was good if you like pickled stuff but the poutine fries were OK. The cheese curds weren't melted and it was cold. I believe they need to be slightly warm so they can nicely melt. I'd love to return and try different items. But cool location so definitely check it out if you're in the HB/Fountain Valley area.

Ordering is simple, you go inside to place your order, and when your food is ready, they give you a buzzer so you can come back in to pick it up. They also have self-serve water dispensers, which is a nice touch if you need a refill. The food menu offers a good variety. If you're a beer lover looking for a laid-back place to relax after work with friends, Green Cheek Beer Co. is definitely worth checking out.
