These dudes are legit had a stator issue fixed here was pricey but he gave me different options as to what part to use and said he won't put a cheap part in because they don't hold up. That being said I'm sure the dealership would've charged me more. The thing that stands out to me the most is whenever I'm having an issue I can call them and they help me diagnose it over the phone instead of telling me to come in and charging me for the labor. Definitely will be coming back for any issue I can't fix myself. These are solid dudes running a great business. read more

I was searching for a shop that would work on my older Buell. I was referred to Steady Rolling motorcycles. I've had reoccurring issues with my front brakes for the past couple of years. Also some charging issues. I made an appointment with Chad to drop off the bike. I would suggest doing this due to the shop is in a fenced off area and they'll have to let you in. Once I was inside, I was first greeted by Daniel. He was very friendly and professional. Chad was a few minutes late. He was very apologetic and we moved on to my motorcycle. I described my problems and he listened carfully to what I had to say. He and Daniel explained what they would do and informed me of their shop rates. Which by the way are very reasonable. I left my bike with Chad over the weekend and was to pick it up on the following Monday. Parts were delayed and Chad called to tell me. No worries on my part. I picked up my bike Tuesday with issues resolved. My front brakes feeling excellent. Hopefully the front brake issues won't come back, we'll see. All in all, a very pleasant experience with the guys at Steady Rolling. I'm definitely going back if I have any other problems, I trust them. And that's what's important to me trust and honesty with your motorcycle mechanic. read more

If you're like me and you don't trust anyone else to work on your bike, except yourself or the all too expensive dealer, then Steady Rolling is where you go. I've been riding since '71 and over the years I've probably taken my bikes to at least 20 different service shops and dealers, (old and new bikes) I've never gone back to a shop twice for service of any kind, until now. Chad and Daniel know bikes, old and new and have the equipment and knowledge to diagnose and repair or improve your bike. hey understand your budget, keep you up to date, daily, while they work on your machine and they go out of their way to get you what you need at the price you can afford. Starting to sound like a commercial here, but I'm very very pleased with their work. Honest and accurate pricing with no surprises in the end, except your bike coming out as close to perfect as possible :) What did I have done? First trip had a Rivera Primo Clutch correctly installed and correctly adjusted. Second trip around a year later, had new tires and Lyndall Brakes and rotors installed along with some front end and wheel powder coating along with a few tranny seals replaced (last mechanic had installed incorrect versions not meant for use with Baker tranny's) Trust them, you won't regret it. I took my 1986 heritage n2 steady Rollin to have it diagnosed a week later they call me saying my bike is fixed it's supposed to cost me $100 to have it diagnosed when they call they say it's $277 so I think $177 can fix it okay but when I go to pick it up still doing the same thing so then work on it for 15-20 minutes say if the coil they want to charge me half hour of labor $50 plus the price of the part I tell them no I'm not going to pay you guys can do work on my bike so they're great bat I will pay $51 no labor but when they call me 2 days later please tell me it's going to be $70 why the extra 20 I asked him shipping and handling from San Francisco West coast choppers I guess I should tell you I'm 66 years old and from Oregon out of Oregon now after changing the coil I bribed two blocks and it does the same thing it's only running on 1 cylinder so when I get there get back to the shop they mess with it for another half hour they tell me it's a bad plug I change the plugs 3 months ago so they change the plug I'm ride eight blocks from their shop I get to 36th avenue and start doing the same thing but I guess they cannot fix old Harley-Davidson because they tell me it's old that's why they can't figure it out so I'm going to take it to Oakland Harley-Davidson and have them diagnosis and see if they did any work to my bike besides putting on a coil as my daughter says I have to handle it through Court my first cdc#B28858 b safe read more
