Very slow service wrong drink ,burnt french fries and wrong salad. Can't recommend this restaurant

The cold "fries" reminded us of the cans of potato sticks we had as kids. We actually had to look at there advertised picture of the BBQ steakburger, because the horrendous thing we got had no similarity. First and LAST time we will go there. read more

Ya know, my kids really enjoy the kids grilled cheese. Love the shakes. The burgers and fries are mediocre in size but what do you expect for $3.99! Every time I go to the drive-thru I am asked to please wait a moment for them to return. I wait... and wait.... Finally, "Can I take your order sweetie?" ugh. The drive thru needs to be improved. The wait is ridiculous. It's takes me 20 minutes or more every time just to get to the window to pay (Not including ordering wait time and ordering). Then another 5 or more to get my bag of food. I liked this steak and shake a lot during work-week lunch. They were very busy and possibly could've used another server, but everyone was very polite and attentive, and you can tell that customer service is important to them. I was looking at my skimpy side of fries considering asking for more, but chose not to. The manager brought me another plate of fries! read more

Hit or miss. It has recently improved....especially if you dine in. Sometimes I get real concerned when I see one milkshake machine with a huge mess everywhere coming through drive thru. This place is absolutely horrible. I went inside to grab something to go around midnight. I was completely ignored at the counter. So I figured I would just go to the drive through. Nope they told me to go inside. I went inside again and again was completely ignored so I ended up just going to McDonald's. I never had slower service in my life. I went through the drive through and no one even acknowledged that I was there. I was waiting at the window for ten minutes before anyone came to the window and ten minutes after that to get my food. Worst place ever! read more

There are never enough employees working to handle the customers. They really need to redistribute sources and be open fewer hours but with more staff. HORRIBLE service! RUDE employees specifically the grave yard shift. I waited 30 minutes in the drive through line for 3 slider burgers when there was only 1 car in front of me who was only handed 1 bag. So unfortunate, the next time I went I was also treated extremely rude. I was by myself and only wanted a sandwich! Next restaurant to go out of business if corporate doesn't step in. The most poorly run Steak and Shake I have ever seen. Since moving here we have tried it four times and customer service and cleanliness has been terrible each time. After waiting forever to be seated, be prepared to wait forever to get waited on and wait in line forever to pay your check when finished. Last night we tried it for the final time. Waited 15 minutes to be seated in a non-crowded restaurant, then sat 15 more minutes and were never even acknowledged, no drink orders, no one even coming by the table. The people in line waiting to pay were complaining they had waited over 20 minutes just to pay their bill. Until this location gets better management, I would avoid this location at any costs. We walked out and will never be back. read more

I came here for a lunch pick up, and although they did miss something on my order I'm going to give them three stars because the staff was pretty nice and professional. The cashier was extremely friendly and everyone else was inviting. Unfortunately the food was not up to par I had a crispy onion and Jalapeno burger I think it was called but it was missing the onions and the flavor was very bland, but the cajun fries were pretty good. The Reeses peanut butter milkshake was awful though it was not well thought out . All they did was crush a peanut butter cup in vanilla ice cream? At least a spoon of real peanut butter and some chocolate syrup might have helped but it was not tasty at all. Which sucked cause I was really looking forward to it. read more

Please get new management! The wait times and service are the worst. Drive through is a joke. Sat at the speaker for 5 minutes. The first 2 minutes no one said anything. After saying hello 10 times someone finally said "hold on please." Then 3 minutes later they were ready! The only reason they get 2 stars is because my food usually turns out good. It's was my first time at this store. I was checking these reviews and we decided to go anyway because we went to other stores by Orlando and we know that the long waiting happens a lot so I went with my family, expecting a long waiting. I went before we were hungry. LUCKY US! We received excellent service and a great food even with almost every table occupied. The service was quick in general because I noticed that a family arrived after us and they were served and eating before we finished. My only complaint would be that the ladies restrooms needed attention . But, hey! It was Sunday between 11:30am and at 12pm. (For me IT was very fast or maybe I felt time flew by because I was enjoying a good conversation (no cellphones) with my family before eating and because we were not too hungry.) read more

My husband and I arrived about 7:30 pm on a Tuesday. Although the restaurant was completely empty, the hostess struggled to find a clean table for us to sit at. We were greeted promptly by the server and our food came out quickly, but when I opened my Frisco Melt sandwich, it had the smallest hamburger pattie I've ever seen! Looked like a slider and 3/4 of it was on one side. The other side was just bread (soggy, not crisp) and a tiny piece of meat. I looked up at the server and said, "you've got to be kidding". I politely asked him for a full size piece of meat. He took my plate and about 2 minutes later, a gentleman who I assume was the manager, dropped off my new plate without so much as a word. He practically threw it on the table and left. We finished our dinner and as we paid, our server was just sitting at the front of the restaurant taking selfies with his friend. He never came to the table once to check on us and no one asked as they usually do, " how was your meal?" They just took our money without so much as a smile. No one ever came out to clean all the dirty tables and the parking lot was so filthy and littered. Considering no one else was in the place, surely someone on the staff could have gone out to make the place more presentable. It was gross. We will not return to this location. Honeyyyy!!!!!! when I tell you this is the worst fast food/ restaurant/ diner/ whatever you exactly want to call this place....okay...I got in the DRIVE THUR LINE @ 7:39 to be exact I didn't get out til 10:02 (keep in mind it's 2 cars in front of me and about 8 cars behind me) when I finally get to the window to get my food it was maybe a 45 minute wait at the window (WTF) I handed the lady my card she took every bit of 20 minutes to give me my card back I'm just not happy with place and HELL NO IM NOT GOING BACK!!!!! read more

We were seated at 8:30 p.m. and there weren't many customers. After sitting about ten minutes, more customers came in and were immediately had their orders taken. The waiter had to walk right past us to get to them. Not like they didn't know we were there. We went to buffalo wild wings. Another time we went we got our milk shakes after we had ate our meals and I had paid the bill. At least they brought the shakes in go cups. When I complained, they said they had been too busy to make the milk shakes. Seems like this place needs a competent manager. read more

My husband and I went to Steak and Shake tonight for dinner. When we arrived we had to wait while our table was being set up we overheard the staff complaining to each other about one of the staff membersor or a manager. The staff waiting on the tables were running around appeared to be understaffed.we received our food and my all american melt was cold and looked thrown together. I told the server and she had them make me another one. Again when it arrived it had that tossed together look bread was barely grilled all the toppins were ina pile in the middle of the bread. We took our check to the counter and had to wait on line to pay the bill. One of the servers was working the register and seemed unfamiliar with that job. Others in line behind were also discussing this. When we moved up to pay at the register I noticed that the food prep area was very unsanitary and sloppy. There was a pile of cooked bugers sitting on the ledge in front of the grill area no cook in sight. Further down to the left there was things all over the area and the floor was a mess. There was plastic bags on the floor , napkins and other things. if I would have saw this betore being seated i would have walked out immediately.the staff behind the counter was running around appeared to all be in each others way. Thie area is Clermont has too many restaurants to go to i know that I will not return to this one again. There is absolutely no reason for a food prep area to be in disray like that.
