Ordered ahead on the app and it said it would be done at 4:12 PM and I didn't get my food till about 4:30pm. I ordered it around 4 PM. I'm on my one hour lunch for my job so half of my lunch with me waiting to get my food because their app can't give an accurate time for the pick up. Then there's no way to just have it refunded because you bought it on the app and the Support for the app is complete garbage. They say they listen to your feedback, but they'll never compensate you for the mistakes that their employees make. Ya know like chick fil a or some other company would do, provide a credit or something. What pissed me off the most is the app saying it's ready when I refreshed it, it means the employees are lying about their turn around times for these orders to maybe avoid trouble otherwise it shouldn't have been marked ready at 4:20pm when it clearly wasn't. read more

Staff are incredibly rude and will talk hateful to you if you cannot hear or understand them. I was polite until treated like my spending money there and asking for my order to be corrected was a major inconvenience to them. I ordered a regular bacon 3 and got a very small amount of steak and two slices of cheese, no bacon or anything. I simply stated I had ordered a bacon 3 and had no bacon and only one type of cheese. I didn't even mention the small amount of meat, as I contribute that to maybe that's just how they do things. The attitude I got for mentioning this was incredibly unnecessary and insulting. In addition, when I went to ask the lady who took my order about my sandwich, she was in the corner scooping some sort of sauce out of a paper dish with her fingers and sucking it off of her fingers, and removed her fingers from her mouth, wiped them with a paper towel, then resumed work. Never washed them. I never leave reviews but this is a word of caution to others. If English is your only language and you like good food and service, STEER CLEAR. read more

I was meandering around this place while my wife shopped and shopped and shopped. Then time to eat. really enjoyed what I had here; I'd never heard of Charley's - suppose being a foreigner that's no surprise and I understand that this place isn't long open. I'd spent a while looking at the fast food choices on offer and I wasn't impressed by the Asian offerings - the Chinese food looked particularly grim, over priced and over sugared and there was a Thai place that looked positively grim. I was in two minds to try five guys for the first time but I wasn't prepared to pay their burger price so I took the smallest offering that the androgynously named Charley had on the menu. For reasons unknown to me, my very friendly server said he was adding a portion of fries for free. So I said thank you; can't have been my good looks and certainly not my charm. I was pleased to see that my chicken was cooked in front of me. Then onions joined the chicken for some light frying then cheese was melted atop. I didn't recall cheese being in my order but hey-ho. All the cooked ingredients were popped on top of a boxed bread bun and the fries chucked in to the box. I saw lots of different dry seasoning choices so I tried a few and while it's junk food I did enjoy this hot sandwich and I would buy it again. As we ate I noticed one of the guys sweeping and cleaning the food area. He told me he was in his 80's and he had no choice but to work - surely not in the land of the free and the home of the brave? I just got off the phone with what i assumed to be a manager at Charles z a Cheesesteak on East Colonial in Orlando. We seem to have a failure to communicate. I ordered two cheesesteaks to be delivered by Uber . The only thing i checked was banana peppers. The cheesesteaks arrived with lettuce, tomato. Mayo and pickle. Which the description of the cheesesteaks clearly stated three items are optional. He is trying to tell me that means that i have to check no May no pickle no tomato, no lettuce. Our company orders out every Wednesday and this week we decided to try out Charley's. I have to say we received about 15 of the saddest sandwiches I have ever seen. There was hardly any meat, peppers or onions on what is considered the "#1 Cheesesteak in the world". We ordered other sandwiches as well which were also less than impressive. With cold bread and all. Please please please do better. My higher ups feel robbed and so do us employees who were looking forward to the sandwiches that we saw online and not what we actually received. And trust me I understand that promo pictures are staged to look great but man at least get close to what is presented. read more

I try to avoid this franchise and did for years. We were in florida mall and wanted something and this is where I ended up. First thing on the menu you see prices on the left side you think its for a steak sub. But its for a chicken sub which costs less. So when you do order it the price is higher then you thought by a dollar. Second they show three pictures of each size sub offered. The problem is when you get the sub they are about 1/2 the size of the pictures, also dont expect much meat. It may be comparable to about 1 1/2 slices of a steakum. I asked for lettuce and they put a few shreaded scraps on the bottom of the bun, really like the couldnt put a decent amount on the thing. The Place is run like a sweat shop. I dont know why this one is busy. The ones in others malls are dead. The meat taste fine but the price is outragous for what you get. read more

Charley's in the middle of Florida mall food court. This place is really packed, there was 15-20 in-line, but it was worth the wait. I just got the traditional philly cheese steak, got the combo with the gourmet fries(cheese sauce and bacon) I also got the lemonade. The price is kind of high even for mall food. It came out to about $14...but i didn't mind after the 1st sip of the lemonade, it was pretty damn good lemonade, plus they ended up giving us refills on them. The cheesesteak was amazing, pretty much devoured in matter of seconds. The flavor and seasoning is perfect on the philly, the fries was okay, not mug cheese sauce and too much salty bacon. This was my first experience at Charley's and I enjoyed it! They are made to order, and allow for customization, so you can add or subtract toppings. You can order a sandwich by itself, or get a combo with fries and a drink. I got a Philly cheesesteak, and it was pretty flavorful. I would get this again. read more

The food was really good, hot and fresh. The service times are usually a bit slow because this particular one is always busy. My only complaint is the girl rang me up for regular sandwiches instead of the special as I ordered it and I didn't catch it until I was already paid and in the queue for my food and it was too much bother to go back for a couple bucks. read more

First time here at Charleys at the new dining pavilion at the florida mall, so much to chose from here I decided let me give this a try could go for a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Despite the bad reviews it has gotten and I was aware of it, I still wanted to give it a try and to be honest it wasn't as bad as what the reviews are saying. Maybe I got lucky as I probably went on a good day or maybe they saw the bad reviews and shaped up a bit but the sandwiches I tried were very good and tasty. I had the Philly cheese steak with all the fixin's this sandwich was so good yes a bit messy but worth the mess, steak was tender bread was nice and toasty. Also had the California chicken sandwich with everything as well and this was very very good, at the end I loved both sandwiches very tasty. I didn't get to try the sides but I look forward to going back and trying a different sandwich cause they have a few different choices and the sides as well! read more

The philly cheese steak and the chicken California are pretty good. You can ask for the sub to be in small, regular or large. Only thing I hate about coming here is the fact that they take too long. They always have the longest lines. The kitchen always looks over staffed. You would think they'd have at least two cooks at the stove to make things fast, but no just one. Always one cook.
