What began as a family tortilla business eventually grew into one of the largest Mexican fast-food chains in California and Nevada, with dozens of locations throughout Las Vegas. Unfortunately, history doesn't guarantee quality. I visited the Decatur location and ordered two tacos, a Chorizo Torta, and a Bacon Breakfast Burrito. From the very first bite, it was obvious the ingredients were low quality. The tacos lacked fresh flavor, the chorizo torta failed to impress, and the breakfast burrito wasn't much better. Nothing tasted particularly fresh, nothing stood out, and perhaps most importantly... Nothing made me want another bite. Las Vegas is overflowing with outstanding Mexican restaurants, taco shops, and family-owned taquerias. That makes serving mediocre food even harder to justify. Roberto's may have helped define the fast Mexican food scene in the Southwest decades ago, but based on this visit, the Decatur location isn't keeping that legacy alive. Big Boy Says... When I arrived at the drive-thru, I was informed that my order had been canceled and could not be fulfilled. While I was disappointed, I understood that technical issues or operational problems can happen. What was completely unacceptable was the way I was treated by one of the employees. Instead of politely explaining the situation, the employee spoke to me in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, as if I did not deserve basic respect. I was essentially told that my order would never be accepted, that it had been canceled, and that I needed to leave immediately. When I approached the door to ask for clarification, the employee abruptly shut the door and refused to have any further conversation with me. The attitude and behavior displayed toward me were degrading and humiliating. I felt as though I was being treated like a nuisance rather than a paying customer who had simply followed the instructions provided by the McDonald's app. The interaction left me feeling disrespected and singled out. The employee's behavior came across as discriminatory and deeply offensive. No customer should ever be treated this way, regardless of the circumstances surrounding an order. I eventually spoke with the manager, who apologized for the incident. While I appreciate the manager's apology, it does not erase the unacceptable conduct I experienced before that conversation. I drove several miles because the app confirmed my order, only to be met with hostility, disrespect, and a complete lack of professionalism. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and provides additional training to ensure that customers are treated with dignity and respect in the future.

This is extremely alarming from a food safety standpoint. The blue material was clearly not food and looked like it came from something used during food prep. It raises serious concerns about how food is being handled and what quality control measures are (or aren't) in place. Thankfully, he noticed before swallowing it, hopefully there wasn't anymore of the blue plastic in any other pieces that he didn't notice... but this could have easily caused harm. This situation made us lose trust in the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen. I would strongly recommend the location take a closer look at their food handling procedures to prevent something like this from happening again.
