    6 piece chicken
    Amanda I.

Fried chicken ALERT!! We had the six piece family meal. Comes with 2 rolls and 3 sides. Sides - fries a must, Cole slaw ok, mash and gravy pass. Rolls - some good stuff here with the sweet butter drizzle. Would highly recommend the changing out the side for more of these. Sauces - a must is the HOT SAUCE, the farm hot sauce mix is ok but would recommend just the good ole hot sauce. Chicken comes out hot and crispy and was decent.

My phone really tracks my location, how did I discover Farm Basket, I happened to see an add on my phone, then I searched Farm Basket on Yelp, curious and needed to try since I LOVE chicken especially fried chicken. There are about 4 locations of Farm Basket and I made a request to hubby to take me to the nearest location before he heads to the casino to gamble. Cute little place, has a country feeling, The staff working are friendly. I asked a few questions before I decided on my order. The turkey fried steak dinner sounds great but I was in the mood for fried chicken. Wow, I noticed the prices for the family baskets meals are really cheap too, 6 pieces chicken with 3 regular sides and 2 rolls for $18.99! If I lived here I would get the family deal weekly with pot of rice. I just wanted to try the chicken, the rolls and sides! I got the 3 piece meal with mashed potato and fries. $9.99, cheap! The other half and I snacked on this before our dinner and the verdict, Yums! Have you ever tried frozen microwave country fried chicken dinner, (During small kid time these microwave dinner came in handy!) -it reminds me of it but except this is made fresh, I really enjoyed my meal and hubby too! The chicken was light and crispy, the mashed was buttery and love the gravy, the fries was just the right cripiness. The rolls sure brought back memories of school lunch days. Try the spicy farm basket sauce, the chicken doesn't come in spicy but hot sauce is available. The clucketos, rolled chicken tacos sounds interesting and the chicken fingers, hand breaded chicken fingers. I found my new chicken spot that I really enjoyed. I will be back for more! Farm Basket, this local favorite has been in business for over 50 years and I have only found out about it during this February visit via my phone. hidden gem!

I have been wanting to try tho place for a while now and finally made it. Went in for lunch and it was very good. There are only 6 tables to sit and eat and 4 were taken when we got there. We both ordered the chicken meals. I ordered 3 pieces and my cousin 2 pieces, and it comes with 2 sides. I was given a leg, thigh, and a breast and I ordered mashed potatoes and fries. Yes, both kinda weird but I wanted to try the fries. Lisa was given a thigh and a breast with Cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The chicken was tasty and very juicy. I like it a bit more crunchy but it was very good. The mashed potatoes were ok. The gravy kind of reminded me of gumbo. The Cole slaw had good flavor and the fries were good. I will definitely come back to try a chicken sandwich and I was told the gobbler (turkey) was a good sandwich so maybe I'll try that too.

Only redeeming factor food wise was the chicken. Not overly breaded and flavorful. Also they have quite a few dipping sauce options. I do believe everything else fell short. The cashier / cook was very customer server forward which made it more bearable. Orange rolls did not taste like orange at all, fries are just fries and the mashed potatoes were just okay. Decently priced for today's restaurant prices

First time here after seeing it a million times in the 20+ years I've lived here and I failed to get the infamous biscuits. Smh. I had a regular chicken sandwich combo and it came with a packet of jam. One packet is definitely not enough. The inside is tiny. The staff took my order and in about 5-7 min I had a fresh combo in my hands. The chicken was big, thick and juicy. I'd come back to try other items on the menu

This was my order. What I got was not even close and what I did get was bad.

Very disappointed. We ordered online a couple of months ago only to find out, once we were home, that our order was completely wrong. Tried to call but nobody answered. While driving by today I thought I would give it another try. Got home to find the chicken overcooked, dry and too salty. The mashed potatoes and gravy was a container of gravy with some mashed potatoes floating in it. We took a few bites and threw it all in the garbage. I'm really not hard to please but this was not a good experience.

Heard good things about this place but we left pretty disappointed. Came a few weeks ago and tried the chicken sandwich but the bread was stale and the chicken had no crisp to it and was really dry. Decided to come back to see if the turkey was any better but it wasn't. Drier than the chicken and the bread once again was stale. The miracle whip and cranberry sauce couldn't save them. I can say that the fries were very good on each visit. The restaurant is cute and feels old timey but I don't think we'll be back again.

I finally got to give this place a try. I'm so surprised of the negative reviews this place has because the chicken was amazing. The fried chicken came out piping hot and so crispy. The chicken was seasoned well and side of corn was so good. The staff members were nice and provided great service. I would definitely be coming back when I have the crave for some good fried chicken. Don't skip on this spot and give this place a try!

I don't live far from this location , but I rarely make it here. The other day I decided to give them a try again for something different. I got the 4 Chicken Fingers Meal with Fries and a Lemonade. I got the Gravy instead of a sauce for the chicken. I though the last time I was here they had Pink Lemonade , but I was told no they only had the regular which was fine and it was a big cup. It came to $12. The chicken fingers were large and meaty. I remember the last time I was here the guy at the counter told me they were made fresh , not frozen and you can tell. The breading is light , but has a good flavor. The Brown Gravy I was a little disappointed with. I was like homemade , but seemed to be missing something like it needed more pepper and it didn't seem that fresh. The Fries were okay and just the right amount of salt , but a small amount for those big 4 chicken fingers. Next time I will get the Fried Chicken. I would recommend you coming here if you have never been. They have been around forever !

Ordered pick up and it was ready quick and efficient! The restaurant looked empty and quiet but it was 8:30pm. Popped in, got my order quick and friendly and carried on my way. These chicken tenders were way better than anywhere else I've tried! I'll try the clicker Sando next week. The location is in the parking lot of Neighborhood Bar which has a free comedy show Tuesdays @9. Grab you a chicken dinner and catch the show!

In my opinion this is the best chicken and turkey sandwich restaurant in Las Vegas. The only location is on west Charleston right above jones blvd. I'm very disappointed in that they had 12-14 locations in the 1970's through 2000 and only kept this one location - until last year when they built new locations on Nellis and Sahara and rainbow and blue diamond. However, because of poor business???? They shut down those two locations. It's a shame that Las Vegas didn't support this superb restaurant and it's wonderful food. I'm so glad the Charleston location is still going strong . yummy yummy the service is also incredible and extremely customer friendly! 10 stars

It was all delicious! The mashed potatoes & gravy, that gravy is amazing. The fried chicken is so fresh and juicy. Dipping the roll into the mashed potato! Such a dream. The workers were nice and friendly, it's small inside but I felt really comfortable eating in there. I went on a Monday so it wasn't busy.

Gravy and mashed potatoes, macaroni salad, potato salad.

When I first arrived on a weekday morning, I was relieved to see that the line wasn't too bad, maybe because we arrived close to opening time. (But when I left, it was long. Like out-the-door long.) It was fairly quick to place an order, but surprisingly, they were already out of the veggie sandos, even though they just opened. Didn't know those were so popular? We ordered four items, but the cashier forgot to ring up one. No biggie, but we had to notify her, which she then had to create a separate ticket for (relevant later). It was also easy to find seating, as they have a dining room tucked in the back of the restaurant. Lots more space, and the vibes are pretty cool with the murals and cherry blossoms, too. Also, it's air-conditioned. I try to be as understanding and patient as possible when restaurants have a bit of a delay in serving their food. But after the 45-minute mark, I was a bit displeased. The two girls who ordered right before us already received their food, ate, and left. So we waited some more. I hope that this isn't the norm. And as I looked around the restaurant, everyone else was fiddling with their thumbs waiting, too! No one was eating. And at long last, some of our food finally came out. And to be honest, everything was really good and flavorful! My favorite was the chicken katsu sando, which was thick and crispy. Another fan favorite was the shrimp sando, which was like a shrimp patty of sorts. The egg was also pretty solid, but maybe a little mayo-heavy for my tastes. The final item we ordered, the rice bowl, came out later than the rest, as it was the ticket that got separated from the others. Again, not a huge deal, but not ideal for my dad, whose stomach was growling as he waited. Fortunately, he did enjoy his food. But overall, I had a rather mixed experience at GYU. I think the food is pretty solid, and the ambiance is nice, but the service has some room for improvement. Maybe ordering takeout here is the move.

This restaurant has potential, however it is an Italian restaurant in the area of China Town.

It captures the essence of authentic Vietnamese dining with a welcoming ambiance that feels like a warm embrace. As you step inside, you are greeted by the intimate decor and the scent of mouthwatering dishes prepared in the kitchen. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly staff who embody the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality, ensuring that each guest feels right at home. The menu at Banh Mi Dan Han celebrates Vietnam's rich culinary heritage, offering an impressive variety of dishes that cater to diverse tastes. With options ranging from aromatic noodle soups to crispy spring rolls and an array of delightful desserts, there's something for everyone to savor. Each dish is prepared using traditional techniques and quality ingredients that honor the authentic flavors of Vietnam. I couldn't resist indulging in their famous Vietnamese drip coffee accompanied by a classic Banh Mi during my visit. The coffee, brewed slowly through a delightful drip process, boasts a deep, robust flavor profile with notes that dance on the palate. Adding sweet condensed milk transforms this beverage into a creamy, rich, energizing, and satisfying treat--perfect for kickstarting my meal. The **Banh Mi** itself is truly the star of the show. Served on a freshly baked baguette that's light and slightly crisp outside, it offers the perfect vessel for a medley of flavorful fillings. The sandwich is generously packed with **chả lụa** (Vietnamese sausage), fresh cilantro, crunchy cucumber slices, and tangy pickled carrots and daikon. What elevates this dish is the addition of creamy pâté, which adds a luxurious richness, and a drizzle of spicy red chili sauce that offers just the right amount of heat. A light mayonnaise spread complements the flavors beautifully, resulting in a harmonious balance of textures and tastes that make each bite unforgettable. Banh Mi Dan Han isn't just a cafe; it's an immersive experience that transports you to Vietnam with its authentic flavors and warm environment. This establishment is a treasure for anyone who enjoys genuine Vietnamese cuisine in Las Vegas. Whether you're a local or just visiting, stopping here will surely be a highlight of your culinary journey.

The food, service, and ambiance were all very good. I came on a Monday during lunch and was helped…read moreright away, and I didn't have to wait long for my order. Grateful for that since I had just come from a meeting that ended late. I got a grilled pork banh mi which was great, the flavor of the pork, the other fillings, and the bread was all excellent. The other thing I got was a wrapped plate of sticky/mochi rice topped with different things. Honestly I'm not sure what it was called or what exactly the toppings were but my best guess is pork floss, sausage (lup Cheong), and something else which I'm not sure what it was but it tasted very good. The man who took my order was nice and I got my food quick. They take cash and card. They have lots of things in the case which all looked good, even though I'm not sure what they all are. I'll have to go back and try more some other time. Very glad I stopped in today.
