It could have been a user error, though -- I didn't see on the menu that the cheese they were using was beer cheese. I just saw "pulled pork" and my mind went blank, and I had to order the nachos. Green onions?) would have helped. We also got the mac and cheese, both the adult size and the child size. I was told that the mac and cheese was good, and both portions were huge. In fact, the child's-size mac and cheese was almost as large as the adult size. The kids menu has all of the kid heavy hitters, like chicken tenders, a smash burger, grilled cheese and a chicken sandwich. Kids meals come with chips or apple slices. We also got the Beets & Greens salad, which is a mixed-green salad with roasted red and yellow beets, green apple, candied walnuts, goat cheese and a poppy seed vinaigrette. This was honestly the best thing we ordered, and I think if I were to visit again, I'd get a salad. Iron Horse has eight salads on their menu, which is quite a lot, for a pub-type place. Actually, I'd get a salad and one of their handmade pierogis. Whenever a restaurant hand-makes something, you should always get that! I usually do, but got caught up in thinking about pulled pork. Oh well. The service here was great. The restaurant itself is nice, with a huge bar area that takes up about half of the restaurant.
