It was good food when we needed it. Service was friendly. Ambiance was kind of empty at a 2pm lunch, but it was comfortable and bright.

I'll be honest I've never had any other coffee so I cannot review that I do however enjoy their deli sandwiches high-quality deli meats and breads really puts this place over the top in all honesty I've had nearly almost everything on the menu and you can't go wrong my personal favorite is the Mississippi club or at least I think that's what it's called lol great staff friendly smiles speedy overturn a bit on the high side for what amount of food that you get but it hasn't stopped me from getting it they have great apparel which by the way I help make at my Iowa job lol. This whole place is like a warm hug for your tastebuds. Stopped here for lunch and their turkey sandwich with the green apple slices is out of this world. My friend and I split that and the macaroni grilled cheese sandwich. We also tried their scones. I would return just for any one of those items. The food and drink is amazing, but the service is second to none! We were helped by Lincoln who was a gem of a young man, however everyone working spoke to us during our stay and were so friendly and cheerful. That isn't always the case with young folks today. I don't drink coffee, but love their energy drinks. I usually order a sugar free Red. Servers are good at what they do, friendly and knowledgeable as well. I love their muffins for a quick snack. Absolute worst service I have ever had anyplace. Waited 23 minutes for two drinks!! Food came out in 16 minutes but two drinks took 12 minutes more. Just read thru the reviews here or anywhere else the service is always complained about and nothing ever gets done about it. The most expensive place around to get food or drinks. read more

Awful service! Take absolutely forever and are never clear about their hours!! Always make the drive over there just for them to be closed! Would highly recommend Atomic instead they have normal hours and inform customers when hours change. So much better. Steam Anchor sucks!!! read more

As much as I love the drinks here, the customer service is absolutely horrible!!!!! I keep giving them more chances but every time I go, it seems to be getting worse and worse! No point in ordering ahead of time on the app- you still need to wait 30+ minutes once you get there. They don't even start making your drinks until you are there even if you order 30 minutes ahead of time. Want to go in and order instead of waiting in the drive through- also not a good idea. They won't even look at you for 15 minutes while they continue to take orders at the drive through. And then when you do go through the drive through, you have to wait at a minimum of 30 minutes. Sometimes they bring out the orders to every car around you and eventually you need to ask where your order is and they respond "oh sorry it was just sitting there". I'm beyond frustrated every time I try to get steam anchor and think I'm finally done trying. read more

They make you feel so welcome and it's such a friendly hometown atmosphere! I wish I could pick this little place up and take it back to California with me! Great newer coffee/cafe spot on east edge of town behind AmericInn hwy 84. Had half grilled cheese with tomato florentine soup. Fresh taste, rivals Panera. Desserts need a bit more work for appeal. Son had Strawberry smoothly very good. I had cappuccino good as well. Would like ceramic mug for coffee ordered in though. Free high speed wifi a great option for staying a while. Overall, I would make a trip there just to have something different and less expensive then Krumpets downtown. Also much less noisy, but this place could use more Krumpets style cookies etc. read more

I have taken all my out-of-town friends here, and they all love it! It is a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy some food and drink and catch up with friends! The owners and servers are very friendly and will make you feel at home. My friends who are coffee snobs rate the coffee very highly! I am not a coffee drinker, but I enjoy the Chai tea lattes and the smoothies. They will add special flavors, whipped cream, etc. to any drink, if requested.
