I gave a review here and handful of months ago on my first visit here. I dropped in again and felt compelled to write another review because the food was again, awesome. This round I had an angus burger that was outstanding. Quite possibly the best burger I've ever had. These are not preformed patties. They are generously hand formed and you can instantly tell. The fries were also perfectly crispy, which I suits me well. Again, when you pull up, you may not expect much, but the food is really good. The servers have been nice and attentive as well. We sat outside in the back. Ambiance was very your backyard bar vibe but it was fine since we just needed a place to sit with our dog. The food was eclectic--my husband and I had Mexican, but there was a traditional kids menu, some bbq options like burgers and sandwiches and some Italian options. Portion sizes were good. Beer selection was limited but the Manny's were really cold, which I appreciate. The waitress (who I think was also the bar tender) was very kind as well as patient. Overall exactly what we needed on our way to camp after some extended traffic on the Columbia bridge pushed us back later than we hoped. read more

Drove all the way from Renton to stay a few days in Coulee City and to check out the new Steamboat Rock restaurant. They have some amazing food and drinks! The first day, I had the Portuguese breakfast burrito, and my husband had the special wet burrito with chicken. There are other choices of meat options for both the breakfast burrito and the special wet burrito. Next night we came for karaoke night and dinner. Had the street tacos and Alfredo with prawns! Forgot the pictures that night. We were hungry! But everything was so good, and the Alfredo sauce was amazing! It was a packed house! Last day in town, we came for Saturday breakfast, and each had the basic breakfast with, yes, the Portuguese Sausage (first time trying it, all-time fan!), eggs OM. Cooked perfectly! Family owned and operated! Next time you are passing through town or even if you make a special trip out here, you will not be disappointed! Great food, great drinks, and great service! We came in for breakfast. I had the Chicken fried steak and my wife had the classic two egg breakfast. Both came out fast and fresh! The inside of the restaurant is clean and updated. The owner was friendly and on top of everything. We loved it so much we came back for dinner two nights later. I had the Steak fajitas and my wife the Prime rib dip sandwich. Once again the food came out fast and fresh. Both were really good!! I forgot to take photos of the dinner items. Great portions on both meals breakfast and dinner. So many good things about this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch. The trivia on the TVs and the classic rock on the stereo provided plenty of entertainment while we waited for lunch. I ordered the shrimp, cucumber and avocado salad. It was delicious. When you order a salad, you want the ingredients to be very fresh and they were. What I was picturing in my mind was a salad similar to a Shrimp Louie and so it was a bit of a surprise when the shrimp were served warm. I would suggest serving the shrimp cold instead so they would be very crisp; otherwise I loved the use of iceberg lettuce instead of Romaine. This salad works very well with Thousand Island dressing. My spouse ordered the meat lovers grilled cheese sandwich with fries. 3 meats and 2 kinds of cheese. What's not to love about that? read more

The jalapeño poppers were homemade just how we like them stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon. The chicken taco salad was delicious and fresh with chicken in every bite. The Rueben sandwich was recommended and definitely did not disappoint with lots of corn beef and great flavor. Also, the beer was ice cold. The owner was very friendly and had a nice chat with him. My husband and I had lunch here and it was Aaamazing. I had the Ranch Chicken Bacon Burger w/ Tots and my husband had the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich w/ Tots. The main entrees were generous portions and were prepared beautifully! Then the tots were what I call alphabet tots, they looked like letters of the alphabet, they were so good with their homemade ranch and fry sauce. Then to top it all off my husband had to try the Bavarian Creme Stuffed Churro w/ Ice Cream. Those were straight bomb.com! We were impressed, we are from out of town but next time we are in Coulee we will be coming in for sure. Sorry I didnt get any pictures, we were hungry and I'm the food was delicious so it was half gone before I even thought of taking a photo for my review. Unbelievable! Not sure why anyone would rate this place a 1, let alone anything more.... The waitress was rude and the hamburger tasted like something you get in the gas station hot case. "Salad" equates to a pile of chopped lettuce in a bowl. The only positive thing was the homemade french fries. read more

Eaten here a few times on our way back from Spokane, and just today after camping nearby at Sun Lakes. The food is good and inexpensive, the service has always been friendly. They do not accept credit/debit, and no mainstream ATMs (Bank of America, Chase, etc.) exist in the city, so come prepared with cash! I don't know what their check acceptance policy is. read more
