This is my last post regarding Ryan Stearns. The main reason I'm doing it is to save people from losing a whole bunch of money and getting a whole bunch of nothing. Ryan, everything you wrote is simply not true. I have not had any yelp reviews deleted. As a matter of fact, all of my other yelp reviews are positive. 1. COVID-19, you did not notify me for seven days. I heard you mention to the other Atty that your wife had Covid. I heard it, but I assumed you were just saying she had it previously, not the day we were all meeting. My friend noticed you were coughing. I wasn't even thinking about Covid until you wrote me a week later that you tested positive and your office not notified me. If you'd like I can post the date we had the meeting and the date you sent me the email. 2. You did not secure the life insurance that was an agreement I had with my ex and I believe it was Ken who wrote it into the judgment. Some can't say who did it but half of the life insurance amount is what ended up in the final judgment. Big mistake and apparently I missed it. 3. he did not generously offer to only charge me half you submitted it to small claims court and charged the maximum amount allowed knowing I couldn't make it to court so congratulations, you won. 4. Sadly, my friend and I did witness you smack your dog in the face. He was a young dog maybe he was nipping. I couldn't figure out why you did it and some people may find nothing wrong with this but personally, I have never smacked anyone or anything in the face, and I found it disturbing. I don't care how much money you donate to the SPCA, I'm glad you choose that charity, but I gather it's all for show because actions are what counts. I don't recall what the other accusations are, but it doesn't matter at this point. As I mentioned, I just want to save someone else from getting suckered in by your sales pitch. More than anything, I am so disappointed that I trusted and hired you to take my case. you put a tremendous amount of stress on me and contributed to my health issues. Ryan Stearns is a total jerk. Had a phone conversation with him in which he couldn't/wouldn't listen to/follow details of a pretty simple case, kept getting them wrong and reiterating that he didn't have time to get into them. Without knowing the details, how can you know what kind of services a potential client is going to need that you might be able to provide? Condescending and doesn't seem very bright. Save your time (and breath) and find someone who listens to you and isn't an arrogant a$$ - especially if you're paying them exorbitant sums by the hour!! read more

In my opinion, Ryan Stearns took advantage of my elderly 87-year-old father who suffers from cognitive decline and has been in very severe decline after Ryan Stearns failed to defend my father over a false accusation of unpaid child support that my estranged mother brought on. He falsely claimed that my father stated he wanted to be communicated by phone only. This is completely untrue. My father stated to include me in emails since he doesn't know how to email. My father was willing to sign off on this, as he had with other attorneys who worked on this case. Ryan Stearns's office did a deposition without telling us or providing us a copy until after the case was badly lost. My father paid his bills via credit card over the phone. We never received any billing statements in the mail or via email. I felt like he acted like our case was no big deal. My father father had assets and stocks, but no hard cash. The judgment he had to pay of 200,000 to my estranged mother plus legal fees for both parties and quit claiming a property he owned was almost a loss of a million dollars. It hurt us financially, but the betrayal from his office cannot be understated. His office office only prepared us for trial 48 hours in advance. In my opinion, this is severely inadequate given my father's advanced age and cognitive issues. We didn't even learn there was a trial until a week before. Also, my father did possess a document that my estranged mother signed about child support. She claimed it was forged and the judge believed her. We were never allowed to authenticate it, which another lawyer we worked with to satisfy the judgment stated was very inappropriate and unprofessional on Ryan Stean's behalf. We would not work with Ryan to do this because we felt violated by what we feel was unprofessional behavior from his office. Ryan takes no accountability for how badly we lost and just stated "Sorry, the judge just didn't like you." In my opinion, this is his extreme ego. My father was nothing but nice to him, and always paid his bills, which were over 100k to his office only to lose so badly that it destroyed him. Also, I looked up his law school and in my opinion, it is a mediocre law school for a what I feel is a mediocre attorney. I also feel he is trying intimidate people from writing bad reviews and trying to get them removed. The fact that he responds to them is in my opinion testament to his extreme ego. Please, stand your ground and your legal right to share your opinions. Our reviews and opinions are important as long as he is practicing law. read more

Mr Stearns was very helpful and nice. My problem is the DOD yanked my clearance from the DOD psychologist misdiagnosis. This is causing me to spend over 7000 so far . I am in the appeal process. I got in touch w Mr. Stearns to see if I can sue her for all this unnnecessary drama she has caused me. I don't have a case at this time I have to wait for the Appeal decision. He is. I would never recommend Stearns and Stearns to anybody. They promised all kinds of things and never came through. They told me my divorce would be no more than $20,000 if we went to court. We never went to court and he charged me 38,000. That was without the quadro. What he wanted to charge me $3,000 for I got it done for $200. If you need a lawyer call the better Business bureau they will give you a great lawyer and way less fees Stearns and Stearns is nothing but a high dollar rip off attorneys they will take your money and run and not give you all your information. At the end of our divorce don't you think he should have sat down and explain my divorce papers he didn't do that. He didn't tell me that I had to take my name off the loan even though it was off the deed. This was a very close family friend and that's what he called himself and he said he would never rip me off. Well he ripped me off real good and if you're looking for a lawyer I don't think you would look at this one and by the way look him up he's been in trouble by The Lawyers association before. Believe me I've seen what he done to me and the amount of money he charged and it doesn't take seven lawyers to do one simple divorce very very simple divorce.
