Our awesome Salesman, Brian Thomas. Thanks bud!
    Chanse T.

We recently purchase a 2024 Lexus IS350 F-Sport from Steele. Our salesman was Brian. We managed to have nearly everything completed via phone before we even went to the dealer, including sales price, trade value, and preliminary paperwork. All but final financing which required wet signatures. Once we got to the dealer we were in/out in under an hour. THIS is how to do business! Brian was clear, concise, and excellent with communication and follow through. Time is money, and Brian (and the equally efficient Finance guy- Marshall) wasted not. We will certainly give these guys first look when shopping in the future and Id strongly encourage you to do the same. Thanks guys! Chanse & Cayce Tekell

Sabotaged O2 Sensor by Steele GMC. To try and scam me out of $1200

Zero stars..... I found them to be nice up front and to your face. But the reality is, they are unethical scammers. The work they had to do to replace the exhaust manifolds was extensive, and for that they did a great job. But when it came to the catalytic converters and the emissions, they basically raped me. I know cats aren't cheap... but $3500 ?!? Whatever. Don't forget the $400 core charge. The real issue is, they told me it ran rough because the BRAND NEW oxygen sensors weren't 'OEM'. Seriously? And they'd be happy to replace them all for only $1200. I refused. And went to my local Advanced Auto Parts to buy AC Delco ones. Ya know... OEM? $400. Upon having the parts store verify the codes, I look under my truck to see the O2 sensor wire hanging loose from the frame. Completely disconnected and the safety tab pulled. They even broke the mount clip so it cant be re-atached. Deliberately. Thats called Sabotage. If they had taken the time to hide it better I wouldn't have discovered it until I went to actually replace the sensors. (Which I returned right then and there, and got full credit for). Check out the photo taken in the parts store parking lot. As I write this, I still haven't been able to check out the other three sensors. But I will at first light. I wouldn't be surprised if they are all disconnected. Steele must train their service staff how to lie straight to a person's face while looking them in the eye. Because their focus is clearly on milking the customer for money, not being ethical, or even trustworthy. I will NEVER bring my GM Vehicles to another STEALership. Or in this case, back to this STEELErship. They are only interested in scamming their customers instead of giving them exceptional service. Just because the 'book' says it can take 6 hours, doesn't mean you charge the customer 6 hours when it only takes you 2. It's criminal and it's greed and they simply do not care. Do not bring your vehicle here, unless money is no object and you enjoy being scammed. And can afford a lawyer that does more than small claims.

Bad business. They have no problem selling a vehicle out from under you after you've already paid for it.

However, when I called NFCU and asked if there were any restrictions on my account, I was told no and that were was no reason notated on my account, "or my mothers" as to why she was denied the available funds. This was an inconvenience for my mother. Either this was incompetence on the bank teller's behalf or this was a personal matter which resulted in my mother being denied the available funds. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with NFCU and I no longer use them as my main banking institution. My hard earned money is really no good here. While Navy Federal has one branch in Round Rock, TX, doing basic financial transactions has been a chore. To sum, I was given a list of locations where I could do transactions with one having an non-existent address and the other branch not having a banking relationship with Navy Federal at all. While I was off work today, I drove out to the Navy Federal on Louis Henna Blvd in Round Rock, TX. I told Justin, the credit union representative, my story about the non-existent location and he told me they could not always update their list and that when I get close to a location I should use Google maps because their addresses could be off by a digit or street. He made this sound so normal. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. How about when financial institutions publish any locations the address should be precisely correct? Then I asked about what locations allowed deposits. He said I had you had to first filter the list from the text I was sent and based on the icons you could see precisely the locations. I filtered on the list and it did not filter as he expected. So, he then said that it works better on a personal computer (PC). Of course, nothing was conveyed regarding a PC filter when the link was texted to me. It only takes $5 to open an account at Navy Federal, i.e. low cost. At this juncture, I am wondering if all the benefits of being a Navy Federal Credit Union member that my brother espoused is really worth the effort. After the Navy Federal counter representative searched on my name and she could not find me in the system, she searched on my phone number and she could not find me in the system, and she finally found me by searching on our address. I asked why she was not able to find me with the previous searches. She said oh that just happens sometimes. I find Navy Federal Credit Union's mission ironic, "Our Members are the Mission." This may be the one and only transaction I do with Navy Federal. I do not currently see Navy Federal's value commiserate with the effort to do business.

One thing USAA does well is ATM access. There are plenty of ATMs available, making it easy to handle everyday banking. Physical branches, however, are much harder to come by, so I consider myself fortunate to have one nearby when I need in-person assistance. Don't let the long lines discourage you. Every time I've visited, the lobby has looked busy, but the tellers work efficiently and keep things moving. What appears to be a long wait usually goes by much faster than expected. While I wish some aspects of the overall banking experience had remained as strong as they were years ago, I still appreciate the professionalism of the branch staff and the convenience they provide when I need face-to-face service. If you're visiting a branch, expect a crowd--but also expect a team that knows how to keep the line moving. Still have a 5 star rating for branch location but company would get a 3.

The past approximately 5+ years has been quite the opposite experience. They have literally ripped me off for thousands of dollars, how? Here's two examples. I disputed an airline charge for a ticket that the airline had charged me for twice for. It was an easy erroneous transaction to prove. Both tickets were in my name, and listed me as the passenger to two different airports, on opposite sides of the country at the same date and time. I thought it would be an easy open and closed case; but NO, USAA said there was not enough proof and refused to refund the charge. The airline actually told me to dispute the charges. So, they ripped me off $1500 on that case. More recently I reordered my checks. When I received them the checks were seriously printed wrong, with an odd word between my first and last name, it wasn't even a name (maybe in a foreign language?). They said they could not reprint them the way they were in my previous order. I said forget it, just refund my money and I'll order them from somewhere else. USAA said they could not refund my money even though they reprinted them quite wrong (obviously they have zero Q&A). Then they ordered more checks even though I clearly stated over and over I did not want them as they were going to print them, AND they charged me again!! Sadly I have 4-5 more examples of blatant wrongful practices that end up costing me money! USAA is now a very corrupt bank, I cannot believe they can do whatever they want. Additionally, when it comes to rude, inexperienced representatives; you can complain all you want and nothing will ever happen to them, and they know this! 23 years as a member means NOTHING to them. The new CEO (and a few before) should be ashamed of themselves and what has happened to a once great bank. I encourage everyone who has been ripped off by USAA to file complaints with the BBB.
