They charged me over $1200.00. Brought the vehicle back to them due to the same recurring issue. Kept the vehicle another 2 weeks and charged me a other $16.00. The vehicle had the same recurring AC problem. I informed them after not being able to repair my vehicle maybe they should refund my monies and i would take it somewhere else. Al the guy running the office told me that wasn't an option. I then informed him maybe we should go to small claims court he then told me do what you need to do. This all happened late 2023 and early 2024.

It was somewhat prompt service. I rode with the driver and he said he was the owner. I had already made arrangements with another shop to look at it , but during our ride the owner was upselling his shop and talking about how bad the shop I was taking it to. So on the fly I chose to have his shop. It took a few days shy of a month to get me a price to put in my transmission! After they had sent me a price for work, the day they finally told me it was ready for pick up I was told that I owe an additional $650! At no time was this discussed! And don't expect an itemized receipt... the most poor service I've ever had!! Needless to say I won't be going back!

Mike knew that our money was very tight and decided to screw us anyway. We made it sound like he was going to give us a great deal and honor the price he quoted us. Sure he did. We maxed out our emergency credit card to pay him to fix an oil leak only to find it was still leaking. We took it back and he said he could definitely fix it. (For another$1100) Why he didn't fix it the first time was certainly all part of the plan, I'm sure. The icing on the cake is this is our only vehicle. We have to rent a car the whole time he has our truck and not fixing it. We are looking for a new mechanic that's trustworthy if anyone out there can recommend one. We're new to Kentucky and don't know anyone so we're going by others recommendations. Preferably one that the waiting area that doesn't reek of cigarettes. Just so disappointed and dissatisfied with this whole experience. Everyone else we've met in Kentucky has been so nice and has been a joy to work with.

We called him at 1:00 to see how soon he could help us. He was ready ASP, the next morning he called and found us a new set of tires. He was happy to show up and tow the car from the motel to his shop and had us back on the road in no time. He was very nice and communicated the progress often. Overall, we had a very good experience and the would recommend if you ever need help on the road in Illinois.
