Trisha takes her time and does it right!

Made my bf wait thru Sat (they're closed) to get in Sun and now it is HIS barber!! I could tell by the photos posted that the work here was superior to the many other places nearby.

Love this place and the people!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a clean, professional, and "steezy" environment. Both Alex and Trisha, take their time to get to really know their clients and genuinely care about them. Alex has done a spectacular job with my hair as well as my boyfriend's. From ginger to pink and black, he truly is patient and has great care when it comes to hair. My boyfriend has never gotten a haircut this great before and the only words he could use to describe Alex's work was "art". Five stars all around!

This shop deserves a "6th Star!" I found this shop just after it opened and It's the only place I'll ever go from now on! The owner Trisha is incredible. She's one of the last real ones. A master at her craft for lots of years. Even though she only cuts men, she has her cosmetology license too. She hooked my daughter up for Prom and she was stoked! Not easy making a 16yr old happy Alex, the other barber is amazing too. He's a gentle giant that does the best fades in Carlsbad! A secret side note to my fellow Yelpers Only her super OG's know this, but if you tip her a Benjamin she'll rap for you Trust me it's worth it

Megan is the BEST barber!! I've been going to her for months! She's super laid back and always has such a fantastic vision! I came in to get an undercut and cool design, and she took it running. She made the coolest design I've ever had!! And the color was fantastic and blended so perfectly!! I only go to her for my cuts and would recommend anyone and everyone to her!!

Trisha is amazing. I'm usually hesitant about going to a barber bc I have stiff Asian hair that's hard to get right. I wanted to stop driving up to Korean salons in LA, so I gave Steez a shot and was not disappointed. I've been here 3x now and have gotten exactly the haircut I want. Trisha takes her time getting the fade perfect and I leave feeling fresh and confident. The shop is also in a plaza with some good food options.

Hard to see but he had SO MUCH hair. Clean lines and kept the length on top- finally a barber that knows what they're doing!

Excellent haircut with proper fade and precise finishing. Booking was easy on the website. Interior of shop was tasteful and the overall aesthetic was clean and intentional just like the haircut. The barber was friendly and knowledgeable and she kept up a friendly discussion. Price is about twice what it is for a "Sportsclips" experience but worth it. I highly recommend using this independent provider. read more

Ever since my prior barber shut down due to Covid I've been trying several places without great results. I noticed this place opened very close to my work and frequent lunch spot, which is super convenient so I gave it a try. On my first haircut by Trisha, it was the best haircut I've had in years. Trisha is super nice and professional. I've been back again with the same great results so I'll be a regular here for sure. They also do straight razor shaves and beard trimming. read more

Same day appointment was available on a Sunday and Trisha was super cool. The shop is clean and newly remodeled. I felt comfortable with the straight razor and haven't had a cut with such clean lines since way before covid started! 100% reccomended 5 star barber. I'll be visiting again! read more

The vibe in the salon was great! All of the ladies working in the shop were so fun and upbeat and chatty. The environment was great and it made me feel better after having a hard day. The salon interior is also clean and tidy. The gel mani was done by Tory. She is so detailed. I can tell she has very high standards for her work and is very skilled. She was precise and I noticed that she paid extra attention to cleaning up the gel with a brush to make sure it didn't get on my skin. Her attention to detail can be rare to find at other salons. I don't have pictures of my pedicure but it was okay - I didn't love how my nails were shaped but it was fine and the polish stayed on for a long time which was great. The pedicure was good overall. This was definitely the best nail salon I've tried in north county and I will have to come back another time.

I REALLY don't write very many reviews. But I feel I need to for this establishment. I have never had as good of an experience getting my hair cut, as I have with this place. I know that sounds silly. But I'm serious. Megan was awesome, and did a fantastic job. I am DEFINITELY coming back. I don't always get a haircut. But when I do, it's usually bad, and takes a while for my hair to recover (my head) ha. But today I got a GREAT haircut! This is now the ONLY place I'm going, from now on. I'm a local musician. So my playing is the most important thing. But apparently, my hair is the second most. So obviously I need a good hair style. I normally have really long hair. Mostly because I'm lazy, and hate to get my hair cut, and often only get it cut once a year. So I apologized today for coming in to have it cut short, and was so happy to find out that they didn't charge by the pound. HAHA. Megan was super helpful, was a mind-reader, and figured out exactly what I needed. She was extremely meticulous with my hair. Although we joked that I came in for a "Brad Pitt", and she gave me the "George Clooney". But hey, I'll take either. (I'm still laughing about that one.) But I swear, this was the best haircutting experience of my life. And I'm a pretty old dude. So I've been around. haha. Since this was my first time there, I didn't know who to ask for, so out of a few good reviews, I picked Megan. She was great. But after sitting there for a while, and watching, I could tell, any one of them would have done a fantastic job. The staff and the environment was super friendly and relaxed. I am DEFINITELY going back. And I'm not waiting so long. I'm now hooked on haircuts and I'm keeping my hair short, for a change. read more

I booked with Alex the day before I had a business trip, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The barber "Alex" was on time to my appointment, usually barbershops make me wait despite having an appointment. & the service was amazing. They offer complimentary soda & beer which is a plus. The haircut was detailed with a straight razor which up until this point was a myth to me. Hot towel was also included with a pleasant scent of lavender? Or maybe eucalyptus.
