If you want a dentist to tell you the truth about what's going on and not hide things in an attempt to pocket more money, come here! They've always done the best job saving my family money by telling us in detail what's going on and taking care of problems while in the early stages. If you're afraid of needles, she's the best I can recommend. The doctors there are gentle and numb the area with gel, and then gently wiggle the area while slowly injecting. Western Dental just STABS your face with no recollection of how you may feel. Now, take what they tell you with a grain of salt, because they can be blunt. It always made me feel bad when I didn't take care of my teeth, and felt like they really care about their clients. The only gripe I have is that I feel like I'm in trouble if I have to cancel an appointment. Darlene seems annoyed if that happens but it might just be me being a sensitive little shit. In conclusion: These people are easy to talk to, professional, VERY hygienic/sterile, and seem to truly care. Check them out if you haven't and are a nervous/anxious individual when it comes to dentists.

After the procedure, it turns out she made a gross mistake in her billing estimate that was several hundred dollars off and wanted me to pay the difference. If it was a reasonable difference it would not have been an issue but had she not been negligent in her job and provided the right estimate, I would have went somewhere else for a fair price (granted Brookside generally has higher rates). However, she demanded I pay the difference. Then she asked that I pay 1/2 the difference and she would eat the other half. Personally, I believe I shouldn't have to pay for anything more than I have based on the initial estimate I agreed to and asked to talk w Dr. Inong over the matter (as it is Dr. Inong's practice and name on the building). The person refused to allow me to talk to Dr. Inong and Dr. Inong, who could hear the conversation, refused to get involved. Only out of good will did I agree to pay 1/2 the difference as I still don't believe was my responsibility for her gross negligence. However, that was a year ago and let it go. So I called Dr. Inong's office yesterday seeking care and the front office person refused me because she said I made it so uncomfortable for her over her billing mistake. Again, Dr. Inong is a seemingly nice person and good dentist but she is ultimately responsible for her practice and the people she hires and represent her in which I can no longer recommend this office for obviously a number of reasons.

I was in urgent need of a double root canal on two upper rear teeth. My dentist sent me to a…read more"specialist" to get these two root canals. They made an appointment for me on Thursday (12/23/22). Their office called me on Tuesday and told me "they had a cancelation" for Wednesday morning and "since I was in a lot of pain" they wanted to move my appoint up one day. I accepted. Once I arrive on Wednesday morning, filled out all the forms and got an Xray, they then let me know they only had a time to do ONE of my root canals, not BOTH as previously scheduled. They told me I would have to come back AFTER January 3rd for the second one! I told them no, I would rather go back to my Thursday afternoon appointment and get BOTH root canals done as previously scheduled. They refused. As I left without ANY work being done, they gave me an invoice for $437!! These guys are crooks and liars. STAY AWAY and deal with an honorable operation, not these guys!

I was walked in (no appt) 9:30am Monday after a weekend of pain and an excruciating sleepless night. The receptionist was kind, helpful, and said they could see me. The X-ray tech was prompt and careful, but the equipment kept malfunctioning (also concerning) The good part ends here. Other than giving me her name, and asking when I last saw a dentist, she never even asked why I was there. She looked at my X-rays and was talking about pulling several other unrelated teeth. I kept saying "I have bad pain, it hurts upper left. Finally she says "oh, now I see what you're talking about" staring at my X-ray "give her prescriptions for amoxicillin and some ibuprofen". I explained that I had been taking IB800 for 3 days with absolutely no pain relief. She offered me Percocet, which I reminded her (as stated in my chart, i am allergic to) I asked her for the hydrocodone équivalent and she said "I won't give you that, only IB800 or Percocet" I again reminded her of my allergy. At least three times she reiterated prescribing a medication I am allergic to! In summary, the dentist was looking at the completely wrong tooth, until I pushed her to look at a the right one, The physical inspection of my teeth was less than 20 seconds. She never asked about my pain scale, or a history of what happened, and finally, repeatedly pushed to give me medicine I was allergic to. Meanwhile, there was a man loudly cursing the f-word in the room across from mine while being treated, because his pain wasn't addressed either. I ended up a few block away at Lodi Hospital to be seen for the pain, after viewing my tooth and the surrounding abscess, they were mortified that the dentist was so negligent. They immediately numbed the area with lidocaine and gave me an appropriate pain prescription until I can find another dentist to see. While the staff is nice, and the lobby is clean, this dentist is a butcher, who will not even ask you why you are there, does not review patients charts, and barely does examinations. Clearly, pain management is of no concern. For your own safety, go elsewhere. This woman absolutely should not be practicing medicine. Edit- I've attached a photo of the tooth in question, swollen, broken and missing the filling. Even from a bad photo, it's obvious to see, missing its crown, broken, clearly painful. She just didn't care.

He literally insisted that I explain how it was that I couldn't afford the shot even snickering at me in front of the intern. He has no bed side manner. Currently he's holding up a colonoscopy because I didn't get a stress test 2 years ago which was between 2 spinal surgeries. Doesn't care to hear what the patient has to say. I've complained in the past but no apologies. I have never had less than 45min wait in exam room after appointment.
