This place literally saved my life. An abscess infected my bloodstream. I had let a wisdom tooth go way beyond needing pulled. I woke up one day in excruciating pain, unbearable. My dentist had to refer me out. I went to this place as a walk-in emergency. Abscess resolved, the wisdom tooth pulled and I didn't even realize the procedure had taken place. I was so scared of being put under anesthesia. I was afraid I'd be feeling all the pain without being able to move, or of some kind of complication arising and never waking up... but I'm here to tell you, I was sitting there talking with the Dr. one moment, and the next thing I know -I kid you not- I opened my eyes thinking I had just dozed off for a moment, asked if they were going to start yet (the Dr. and Assistant), to which they warmly laughed and informed me they were done. Praise God I was so happy!!! For over 10 years I had been putting that off and it was finally over thanks to God, my family, the original dentist and these people. I was cleaning tonight and found my old paperwork for this procedure and realized I never left a review and I really wanted to, so here I am now. Ontop of all of that, they are honest. Not long after the procedure, I got a check in the mail for about a hundred dollars. Apparently I had been overcharged by accident. I mean c'mon that kind of righteousness is rare in this world. They didn't have to do that, I would have never known better. With all of that being said - 10/10 HIGHLY recommend, I would definitely go here again - though I hope I never need to ! To any staff who may be reading... thank you thank you thank you... I was hrs away from potential death, literally. But because of your work I am here, my daughters have their daddy still. Be warned--this place is incredibly misleading. I highly recommend avoiding it. At the time of my visit, the office had me pay what they said was the remaining balance after insurance. Later, I received additional unexpected bills--one from UCLA for pathology, and then another from the office itself, claiming my insurance denied the in-office pathology test. The dentist seem knowledgeable and respectful. After interacting with the dentist, I planned on returning. But then it all changed. The office experience is what lacks and scare customers away. The tone and the delivery of the front office scheduler are rude. Although they are providing the wrong information consistently, they have the nerve to raise their voice and reiterate the wrong information back to you. If they are losing clients it's due to the lack of customer service, patience, and listening skills. Between the scheduler they were gossiping about each other. They are aware of skills they are lacking. I will not be returning or recommending anyone. read more

Docked a couple stars off all because of the rude lady with the bangs working the front desk. She was dismissive and clearly annoyed of my concerned questions. Everyone else, otherwise, was attentive and knowledgeable. I dropped my sister off to get her wisdom teeth removed and we had a few questions about her prescription being transferred to another pharmacy; rather than being polite and trying to ease our concerns she did it do anything to calm our nerves. read more

I needed a cracked tooth extracted and was referred here by my regular dentist. Dr. Arredondo was very patient and explained everything to me. Similar to the review written before mine, I do not recommend this place. Angela, one of the women at the front desk, is extremely rude and passive aggressive. I was misinformed about when wisdom teeth consultations are scheduled, which, of course, is no mistake of my own. My appointment was scheduled in the morning and when I arrived, I was corrected in a demeaning way that my type of appointment is for afternoons only. There are much better ways of handling these situations, besides being passive aggressive and sarcastically calling someone "honey" multiple times. Upon sitting down to browse the forms she handed to me, I was instantly asked within a couple of seconds whether I would be "filling them out now or at home." Essentially, her demeanor and tone reflected the idea that since I shouldn't have showed up in the morning, a time that I was scheduled, I was unwelcome to take up space in the waiting room for even a moment. It is very unnecessary to be so impatient and unpleasant, especially at 8:40 on a Monday morning. Get well soon. read more

WOW! That's literally the word for Dr. George. It was my first visit here and it couldn't have been better. He is the most honest dentist I've ever met and I'm very grateful that I followed through in booking an appointment here. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. His staff is also very pleasant and professional. I will be recommending all of my family and friends to them. Also, a big shoutout to his assistant who did my panoramic x-ray and in-take information, she was super sweet and friendly. Made me feel less nervous. I was told that my insurance would Cover my bill however months after surgery they kept sending me the bill. When I would contact them they stated the insurance was suppose to pay. this place is a joke. it has been a while and i almost forgot about this place. i was referred to this place to have a wisdom tooth taken out but when the Oral surgeon took a look at th xray, he said it was too risky too difficult and said he wont do it. i asked well, i was referred here because i am having pain and my regular dentist couldn't do it. if you cant then who? he just told me to find someone else. seriously? who else is higher than an oral surgeon that cant take my tooth out? needless to say, i found another place that took care of it without the run around. read more

The website says to call the number for appointment for information on getting dental implants. Not true. I had a tooth pulled there a couple years ago and decided I wanted an implant. The office said I needed a referral from my dentist to make an appointment. I told them he had already extracted the tooth, but didn't matter. It so happened my dentist, who doesn't do them, wasn't working that day so I just called the one my daughter goes to. If you want implants you have to go thru your dentist it seems. First of all, I am ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of going to the dentist...but I had a molar with a vertical crack which HAD to be extracted. I was in horrible and excruciating pain and called my dentist to get a referral for an oral surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Sangvi originally, but they were unable to get me in on the same day, so my dentist office then referred me to Brookside. They not only saw me the same day, but as soon as I turned in my paperwork, they called my name to be seen over others in the waiting room. Dr. Veaco went over my medical conditions and decided that medically speaking, keeping me awake during the procedure would be best. I agreed. However, psychologically, it's a different story! As soon as Dr.Veaco began to administer the anesthetic, I instantly went into panic mode, began shaking uncontrollably, hyperventilating, racing heart and sweating profusely. The Dr. Immediately stopped what he was doing, was very patient and kind. The nurse was also very sweet and helpful during this time. I eventually relaxed and the Dr. was able to resume. Dr.Veaco was so patient, gentle and reassuring. He had the most professional and positive disposition. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The manner in which I was cared for was amazing. I would definitely recommend him for any dental procedure you're facing! read more

Dr. Veaco and his staff were extremely nice and helpful when I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. They are very patient with individuals who are nervous to go to the dentist. They give you pills to relax, numbing cream where the IV is inserted, nitrous, and then anesthesia so you have absolutely no anxiety or pain leading up to him putting the IV in your arm. Dr. Veaco is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet and the staff make you feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend! read more

Dr Arredondo is the best! I had a serious jaw bone infection, in which I was referred to Brookside Oral. Dr. Arredondo had to remove a tooth but was able to clear up the infection to stop further damage! He also corresponded with my other doctors on the case and made sure I got the best care possible! Recently, I had teeth implant surgery to repair that area, and Dr Arredondo with his skill, was able to avoid giving me a bone graft...saving me the extra recovery pain and cost! I have sent family members to him, and can honestly say you will get the best care from Dr. Arredondo and his staff! read more

This office does not offer urgent services. I got a next day consultation with Dr. Vaeco after preregistration online, but when I saw him he did not seem concerned at all about the level or extent of pain I am having due to a fully erupted wisdom tooth with infection. I had xrays with an unfriendly/unhappy assistant and watched a 10min video in a TV room about impacted wisdom teeth, then waited another 10min in the chair. I had many questions, and when I told him so he responded with "I can tell". He didn't answer anything directly and we didn't address half of my concerns because he couldn't wait to leave. Then I was offered an appt with him in 3 months at the front desk! And no they WOULDN'T even check the other Doctors' schedules because the consultation was with HIM. The receptionist was obnoxiously short and fake-nice, one of the worst kinds of rude, like she couldn't wait for me to leave... So I just wasted over $200 for a 10min consultation, xrays he didn't even explain or talk with me about, and I'm still scrambling to find a surgeon who might help me before Christmas! If I want to try with another of their surgeons I have to do ANOTHER consultation, which would be FINE if I thought they would give me priority! There were a lot of teens in the building. Apparently their books and pockets are already lined with routine extractions and they don't have time for people in pain. Two stars because the facility is very clean and professional , in one of the better parts of town. If you don't mind waiting for routine work I'm sure they are just fine. If you're having an urgent problem look elsewhere. read more

I had an excellent experience. I had surgery done under general anesthesia (Propofol). One minute I was awake, the next minute I awoke and it was done. I was quite alert and had no pain. I paid exactly what they said in the initial quote. Dr. George is very nice, as is the billing person. The other staff is not exactly warm and fuzzy, but they weren't rude, either. I work in the dental field and know who is good in the dental world..He has removed both my children's wisdom teeth, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
