I've never had such frustrating experiences as I have had with this stockton office and maybe it goes into their corporate office. That caused some of the problems. I hope my review will help others so they don't have to deal with what I did. I do have a review somewhere in here back in February or March of this year. That can be read regarding the delays. I had in getting my root canal. More recently, I began having severe pain and believed to have had a crack in another tooth. I got an appointment quickly and they did x. Rays of one tooth. They could not see a crack. It could have been very fine, but they said they recommended with the pain. I was having to do another root canal. No problem, they said. However, that it would take up to 6 weeks to get approval. I did not find this acceptable. So a couple weeks after the appointment, I called denti-cal office. They said that the dental office sent an a approval request on the same date as my appointment. However, it could not be approved because like my previous route canal appointment, they failed to send in images of the x ray and other pertinent information. I called the suave dental office explained the situation and they said that they never got any request from the denti-cal office... They tried to say this last time. And I tend to believe that they just were disorganized as I had received a confirmation number from the denti-cal office that's stated everything was received. On the other end, at suave dental. I once again kept calling the swab. Dental office, they sent messages. And then finally, I got a manager to call me back. I explained to her that it had been way too long, and they had failed to send in the appropriate information needed to get the authorization approved. She tried to give me some excuse that. Everything was in their billing department, and they had to wait because their billing department was behind, which made no sense at all. So I called back the denti-cal approval office and they were very helpful. And just referred me to another dentist office. And then actually took the time to call the other dentist. And make an appointment for me, which I did not expect, And I thought that was going the extra mile on there, end Also, if anyone reads this review to the end, I can also give you good news that this suave office and the staff we're found guilty of lying in stating they provided a teeth cleaning for me and then accepting payment from denti-cal. I just got confirmation today that they are pursuing a higher level of investigation into the office and the dentists that work there. As they never replied to any of the multiple requests that denti-cal sent to get proof that they actually did. The teeth cleaning. BEWARE, find another dentist office. If you can, or if you have problems similar to what i've explained, then, do not hesitate to report them. They need to get their act together read more

Save yourself the time and money and stay away from the place that staff is incompetent and rude. The wait times is minimum two hours, the X- ray tech uniform is dirty and had stains , all the equipment is filter and old. The guy over the phone told me that they had a deal on new clients with no insurance and I get there after waiting 2 hours in pain they tell me over 1300 for an extraction. They are very unprofessional i heard them in the next room laughing and talking about a patient after he left. I've been to multiple dentist all good experiences but this place is terrible, low budget and needs new staff. Dirty place read more

I was extremely disappointed with the service at Suave Dental in Stockton, CA. I had a scheduled appointment today for my periodontal maintenance treatment at 1:30 pm. They took me in the back and I sat in that dentist chair for an hour and a half. Now knowing they only had one dentist on staff today the professional thing to do would at the least have some consideration for the people having appointments today and give them the option to reschedule before showing up to their appointment. Very inconsiderate!!! I'm a senior and on a limited income and gas costing $5.50 a gallon and not living in Stockton. Whoever is in charge of doing the scheduling needs to take a refresher course!!! The dentist was really nice and helpful. I did not catch her name because it was a brief consultation and I forgot to ask, but it was an Indian lady. She did a great job explaining everything and was so caring and empathetic. However, the person doing the x rays was lecturing me without knowing my situation. I did not appreciate that. Worst experience ever. The dentist didn't numb the injection point thoroughly I felt the needle penetrating through the layers of the skin in my upper mouth. She left me in the dentist chair and the numbness from the injections wore off. Appointment was at 9:00 a.m. a new member was behind me was seen before me I wasn't seen until 9:35 just to get injected in my mouth for no reason. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the ENTIRE STAFF is definitely worthy of so much more. I've had several visits and each time I walk in the door they already know me, they are very nice and very professional. The office flow is also great. I've had some bad experiences with another dentist before coming to Suave Dental and i'm just SO glad I did!!! I needed crowns for my broken teeth, fillings and a serious deep clean. My teeth had never been deep cleaned before and I had sooo much buildup and now I feel like new teeth. If you haven't ever had it done you should...and you SHOULD have it done by Dr. Gato at Suave Dental in Stockton. Dr. Gato was a master at injections and cleaning and I had no pain what so even afterwards. I barely felt it because they numb you with some really strong gel first. They were very sure to address all of my concerns and did all they could to help understand what the procedures are and helped me get through all the needle sticks like a champ!! Im not saying I enjoyed the needles, but I am no longer affraid to get them because they are just that good. Dr. Kapote and Dr. Gato are amazing dentists. This dental accepts medi-cal for myself and what i can say is that they perform excellent teeth cleaning. Many other places i go to does not do that great of a job at cleaning your teeth. This place, the dentist here cares about your teeth and they perform a very good cleaning of your teeth. Most other places. They don't do a very good job at cleaning. They clean so so only. STOCKTON SUAVE DENTAL HORRIBLE DURING COVID 19 PLEASE READ This office is so unethical and DEMONIC. I wish I could give zero stars. Give me a moment to explain in great detail. I am on the Medical Dentical program and I was referred to this office from another dental office that did not do root canals. I need 3 root canals and 1 dental implant. I did end up getting a descent paying job with dental insurance around the time Suave Dental took my dental x Ray's. However I still have Dentical because who knows how long I will have this job. MY EXPERIENCE 1. I came in and got x Ray's taken of my teeth from the black woman with the very short hair. She was pleasant and welcoming my first visit. Next, I met with Dr. Mendoza. He was also pleasant and I looked forward to him doing my root canals. The goal was to have Dentical cover the 3 root canals and I pay for the crowns. I was ok with that I set my appointment for Dr. Mendoza. I specifically requested that Dr. Mendoza be the dentist I work with. I ended up getting a call from the receptionist Berda with the dark hair stating for me to come in an hour early because Dr. Mendoza was leaving early for a meeting. So I came at 10 instead of 11. A WHOLE NEW DENTIST When I arrived I went into the room a whole new dentist came into the dental office room. He stated that Dr. Mendoza was not in. I was thinking if Berda knew Dr. Mendoza was not going to be able to see me at all she should have stated that in her message to me and gave me an option to come in or not. UNPROFESSIONAL! VIRGINIA His other receptionist is very cunning. I've watched her interact with certain patients while patiently waiting in the waiting area and I noticed that she chooses who she wants to be hostile with and who she wants to be nice to. Very strange. I had called Dentical and confirmed I was approved for a root canal for tooth 18. All that Virginia had to do was confirm the approval. She said give me a call tomorrow and I will have an answer for you. I called the next day as she had stated and she had no answer and told me to call the next day. This sick process continued up until two WEEKS. So unprofessional. Why not say it will take about 3 to 4 days for me to confirm this and you can call me then. No Virginia had to keep dragging things along. CEO I Finally called the CEO who is Dr. Momani pronounced ( Mo Money) lol. He is well spoken over the phone and told me he had 17 years of dental experience. He said come in on Friday and tell the reps your hear. Then you can come to the back and speak with me. Friday came and I arrive around 10:30a.m. Dr. Mo Money was interviewing other dentist so I waiting patiently and quietly in the waiting room for about 20 min then I had to leave because I had my sisters car. THE DEMONIC PART As I'm waiting the first 7 min the black woman that took my dental x Ray's walks into the office and greets me saying your man's is coming. I chuckled and kinda thought she was referring to Dr. Mendoza. All and all I considered that playful and I felt she was in good spirits up until that point. As I continue waiting. I was on my cell phone looking for shoes I wanted to purchase. When The black woman comes out of some room area saying to me I don't want you thinking someone is against you or is attacking you. Things change and right now the Dr. Is doing interviews. She said you got 2 options you can either wait or you can GET UP AND LEAVE. She also said just like your coming in for a root canal. We might go deeper into the tooth and find more decay and now the tooth has to be extracted. I don't want you thinking someone is picking on you but you got two options. You can either wait or get up and leave. WHAT THE HELL Where did all that crazy unprofessional shit come from. That caught me way off guard and made me extremely uncomfortable. It was almost as if she wanted me to argue with her in the waiting room. I LEFT I never spoke to Dr. Mo Money that day I left. MO MONEY = MO PROBLEMS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

I was referred to suave dentist from another dentist because they did not know how to fix my teeth, but the dentist at suave dentist is very knowledgeable, respectful, and is able to fix my cavities and root canal! On 4/6/2023 I was referred out for a root canal. I called Suave Dental explained I had two set of X-rays within 30 days and two general dentist both can do root canals have sent me to see an endodontist! The drive from my home to the Suave dental office is 1 hr 40 min! I explained I had to see an endodontist for three canal root canal not another general dentist. My Appt was made for May 3. This morning I get a reminder I have an appt with Dr A Rodriquez. I called to confirm and was told Dr A Rodriquez is a general dentist. They moved my appt to see Dr Mendoza an Endodontist. After driving 1 40 min they demand another set of full X-rays and Dr Mendoza is not an endodontist as I was told twice on the phone by his office staff . They lied to me about his credentials knowing I need an actual endodontist for this procedure. Bait and switch liars. Taking advantage of Ins companies, wasting my time and money coming all this way. Office stay very rude. Two patients other than myself brought X-rays and they canceled their appt also 3 patients walked out. FYI Dr Mendoza May do root canals but if you have been referred by two other dentists that do root canals to see an endodontist make sure you don't get mislead by this office. I specifically was told he was an endodontist. They lied and said he is an endodontist! Be careful! Abuse of Insurance. I left very bitter and untrusting of this office!.
