It did need repair; however, at a fraction of the cost at first place. The workmanship at Miner's Den was excellent. Also, if you need a watch battery, Miner's Den donates the charge to charity. I didn't agree with her recommendation considering i can barely get my rings on and off. We went elsewhere and ended up getting them resized for 80$ a piece, and to a more comfortable fit for my liking.
