Pasta

When in Long Beach Island, and if you love Italian food This is the place . You must make reservations. It is always busy Accessible parking( the lot on the side street can be used as well) The service is on point. From start to finish. Well trained staff. Professional, personable. The food mouth watering! The menu extensive BYOB. The Mediterrarian calamari is one of my favorites ( hate to share it, but you can and should) Eggplant napoleon ( thinly sliced), seafood, all sorts of pasta dishes. And you should leave room for dessert. Our table ordered one of each, to try them all! A gastronomical pleasure!

After long day at the beach was nice to come here and cool off with a great meal. Started with an eggplant tower special. It was ok. eggplant was little tough Coconut shrimp was crispy and large Also ordered clam and mussels in a white wine with arugula. Clams and mussels were so tender and clean. Arugula really made it different. Wine broth was vey tasty I ordered Frutti De Mare. Was huge dish. Mussels clams shrimp and lobster with chucks of cod on top of linguine it was so good and super fresh Wife had pistachio crusted salmon on top of an asparagus risotto. Salmon cooked so perfect and the risotto was super creamy. Son and his gf ordered Panko scallops with Mac and cheese with chucks of crab meat. Scallops were deep fried and over cooked. Mac and cheese was kinda not flavorful and not much crab meat. All in all it was a good dinner and large potions. Very expensive but on the island where ever u go it's not going to be cheap. Parking right outside. Wait staff on point were were in and out about an hour.

Excellent meal and service tonight. Highly recommend this place. The rolls were great, as were the salads. Chicken parm was excellent and I loved my flounder. Troy is a great server, we will be back.,

First time at Stefano's and I was not disappointed. The service, food, and ambiance (even with COVID precautions) was 5 star. My parents were nervous it'd be hot under the clear plastic tent, but it actually was cool in the shade. They hung chandeliers in the tents and the tables were definitely socially distant, which made for an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. Our server provided us with bread for the table, informed us that all entrees were served with house salads, and rattled off the specials. For an appetizer, my family split the fried calamari ($12) which was an extremely generous portion. No legs but this was light and tasty, rather than a heavy, greasy fried. Next came the salads, where my dad chose to upgrade to the wedge (+$7). The house salads were great, with homemade blue cheese dressing. For entrees, I chose the Scallop Risotto, my mom got the Panko Scallops with Crab Mac & Cheese, and my dad got the Filet Luna, topped with crabmeat over a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. All entrees were delicious and left us feeling full. The server brought over a dessert tray, and shared that some options were from local bakeries, and they had cheesecake from Junior's in NY. Everything looked delicious! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Stefano's for a great night!

Garlic steak

The food here was out of this world. Came with 20 people. 20/20 licked their plate clean. Everything was delish- seafood penne ala vodka, garlic steak, mussels , chicken, clams and linguini, tuna, etc. worth every single penny

The name says it all! Stefano's Restaurant. They were very accommodating our party of eight 8!

I have heard so so much about how fabulous this Stefano's is and let me just say... we were not disappointed! Finest dinning on the island. Ambience was amazing and they even have handicap access. Everyone was very polite & friendly to us. Food was delicious and promptly served! I'm definitely going back!

5 stars for stefanos because their food is delicious. Started with a Mediterranean style calamari appetizer that was perfectly tangy and spicy. For dinner, I had the muscles with linguine and a friend ordered the tuna steak. They aren't shy with their portions either, you definitely Won't leave this place hungry and to make it even better it's byob so you can bring whatever drinks you please. They have a cute little tented outdoor area with hanging chandeliers and their inside is also very clean and kept. Very pleased with dinner here and I can't wait to go back!

9/25/21 Saturday. Party of 6. Had a reservation for 7 pm. Checked in day before on line and got to the hostess stand at 6:55. "Oh yes sir your table is ready. Let me just check on it." Hostess #1 leaves and no sign of her. 7:15 I approach the hostess stand and remind them that we are still waiting "oh yes the other party is just finishing up". I think to myself ...ok you lied to me 20 minutes ago. Fine. I wait until 7:25 and I approach the hostess stand again and only hostess #2 is there. I remind her I've been waiting 1/2 hour for my 7:00 pm reservation. Ok they seat us inside. My reservations was promised for outside. We can't wait anymore and accept the inside table but this is a total fail so far. We get to our table and there is a nice flower arrangement. How nice as this is a special occasion for us as noted on our reservation. Hostess comes by and says sorry but they aren't for us. She takes them away. No server for 10 minutes. Server finally shows up and was friendly/pleasant. No apologies for the poor service so far. Food was good, not great. Extremely expensive for just ok food. We are local island residents and have been to Stefano's several other times over the last few years but overall it has gone downhill. We will not be back. The restaurant is overwhelmed with diners. They can't keep up with demand and I suspect have trouble getting help. To the owners: Do not take reservations you can't manage.

He was friendly, super knowledgable in regards to the menu, specials, etc and catered to modifications and when a couple of girlfriends and I split entrees. A nice added bonus that it is BYOB. 10/10. If you can get a reservation here, book it!

I have been to Parker's Garage a few times in the past. I have always found the restaurant to be overpriced and their food over salted. The only reason I agreed to go this last time was at a request by a friend. I figured I would give them one more shot. Boy, was that the wrong decision? To start with we all struggled to find something on the menu to suit our taste. Additionally, everything was quite overpriced for what you get. The crabcake dinner is the most expensive on the island that I have seen at $66. Their fish selections were reasonably priced until you discover that they are rather small and à la carte. I ended up ordering the chopped cabbage salad, which didn't seem to have much chopped cabbage in it and was mostly Peanuts and a crunchy material that seem like Funions. it was also super salty and generally un edible. For my main meal, I ordered the monk fish. this was unlike any month fish I have ever had before. It seemed to have a very adherent skin on it that was rubbery and difficult to remove from the Meat. It also was incredibly salty. Lastly, we ordered the brussels sprouts again, they were the most salty thing I have ever had and we're basically inedible. I unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially if you have high blood pressure

Wow. My boyfriend's been mentioning going to Howard's for…read moreliterally years now. I always kind of shrugged it off because I thought "fried lobster? Ehhhh questionable." I was WRONG. It's delicious. The service is great, the restaurant itself is beautiful. Depending on where you sit you have a wonderful view of the bay. We started with the clams. Skip these, I'm a huge fan of steamers and these were just not flavorful. The broth was basically water but whatever - you're not there for clams you're there for the French fried lobster. I decided on the French fried lobster and a clam cake. Delicious. I don't know what sorcery this is but the lobster fried makes it so tender. The crab cake was absolutely scrumptious too. I opted for wild rice as a side. Their salad and cole slaw is exceptionally good too. Another gem is their clam chowder. Now Howard's is not a cheap place but I can see myself ordering clam chowder for take out. With some of their fresh delicious bread. A dream meal. Their chowder might be my absolute favorite on the island and trust me I've tried a lot of chowder. It's really that good. Go to Howard's, you won't regret it.

This is a family restaurant (It will not open a second before 5pm) , BYOB, great and humble staff. I did not have their speciality fried lobster, I am not into breaded food, but the grilled lobster amazing. I shed a tear it was so good. There is a liquor store across the street incase you are visiting from out of town like I was. The New England clam chowder is better than any award winning chowder that I have had in California. I will post this everywhere.
