Okay it's a 3.9. The pizza here is actually very delicious & reheats well for left overs. The only problem I've had there has happened twice. If you order from here, please make sure you are UBER specific! First time we came here, my husband ordered a pizza with ricotta as an extra, I repeat extra topping. Unfortunately the only cheese they put on his pizza was ricotta & they omitted the mozzarella. They did a similar mistake with mine. They had to make a second one for my husband. Second time around, I got the 4 cheese with garlic & tomato added. I get my pizza & there is no tomato sauce. 0. Before we paid I even asked if all the pizzas come with sauce unless stated otherwise. The girl said yes. When I brought my pizza back, she said the 4 cheese doesn't come with tomato sauce. It doesn't say that on the menu at all. Any pizza place you go to has tomato sauce on all their pizzas unless it's described as not. I assumed (justifiably) & even asked if it came with sauce to be sure. They had to make mine again & once again we got a free pizza. They really need to ask or inform customers how their pizzas are made because the description on the menus are misleading a bit. I mean if you order a burger, wouldn't you assume it comes with a beef patty even if it's not stated in the description?They're wasting time & resources giving out free pizzas because the order is wrong. All that aside, the pizza is so so good & the staff are friendly. I do recommend it, but make sure you specify how you want everything or you risk getting a wrong order. read more

Stefano's could possibly be the best pizzeria in the RGV. There has been a mini boom of pizza joints around the area. Brick oven pizza, the pizzeria, Scalise, etc etc. This place may just be the best. I've twice been here. And twice I've thoroughly enjoyed Stefano's. The meat lover pizza pie is the pie to buy!! Hands down. All the good meats are present. Pepperoni check. Beef check. Ham check. Whatever check. You know what's in a meat lover's pizza. You don't need me to tell you. Jeez. The crust. Perfect in that NY style kinda way. Just perfect. Not too crispy. Not too soft. Al dente. Sauce. Excellent. Perfectly balance. Good mozzarella. Just a near perfect slice. Perfect for the valley. New York. Chicago. It's not but will give you an idea of what you're in for. Spaghetti Bolognese. Yeah. They have spaghetti bolognese. They also chicken parm and a bunch of other stuff. You try the chicken parm and tell us how it is. I'll see the bolognese was just down home goodness. Eye-talian style. Great gravy. Food network voice off. Ha! Staff friendly. Place is alright looking. It's a strip mall warehouse looking room. Bright. Semi-inviting. Lots of choices on the menu. Lots of specialty pies to choose from. Now the bad. One of my favorite slices is the white pizza at the secret pizza kitchen in Vegas. Those of you that know. You know. Look it up. It's at the cosmo. Anyways. So I see the menu and see a white pizza on the menu. While not exactly the same as the Vegas one, it looks similar enough to warrant a taste. So so so so disappointed. It was so bland. So tasteless. Just so terrible. I really wanted to give Stefano's 3 stars cus of it. But that meat lovers and spaghetti bolognese plus the fast friendly service keeps this place at 4. Don't order this pizza whatever you do. And that's my big problem. Now I'm super leery about trying another specialty. This place is not cheap. So normally most will get a chance to only choose one pie. Maybe it's a risk to try the others. Maybe. Maybe they're fan effing tastic. I don't know. You try it. Will I be back. Of course. Haven't had the pleasure of dining in yet to rate overall experience cause my hubby picked up to-go. But, the lady who took my order over the phone was very friendly and they got my order right. The pasta servings are huge and cooked perfectly! The sauce is absolutely delicious, glad I ordered extra! Two people could share a dish although, the meatballs are not as huge so I would recommend ordering extra for the amount of spaghetti you get. Unless you save the leftovers and throw in another protein the next day like my hubby did w/a rotisserie chicken ;-).. This restaurant is related to the one in Harlingen So let's start with the goodies 1. It is clean 2. Ambience is good 3. The service is good 4. The pizza bread is good 5. The disposition of the workers is good Now for the baddies 1. The pepperoni pizza was very oily- more oily than a blended oil change (I would get the full synthetic it is worth the price). But back to the pepperoni I have to admit it tasted good. (I took a Pepcid AC an hour later -one can only tolerate heart burn so much). 2. Call me chincy but I respect restaurants that have free tap water. This restaurant does not have this nor do they have courtesy cups. And I was just thirsting for the city of Pharr municipal water that has been approved by the state of Texas. "Water is Life" this is something The city of Pharr takes to heart.The water in Pharr for the last 10 years in a ROW has held a superior rating from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. But I was deprived of tasting this high quality water. I had to buy the bottled water for 20 cents less than a soft drink. :-(. Tried the arugula and the pepper specialty pizzas and both were really good. The mushrooms were a decent size and the coating wasn't overbearing. Salad was meh, I'm not a fan of romaine mainly because of the stem and that stem was everywhere. Maybe would be good to use a spring mix or something. Other than that everything was good. This is easy a 5 star place to start off the fact that its super clean and the staff is great. As we enjoyed our time i watched them lol as soon as a customer done they come to clean the table and it isnt like they needed the table. So bathroom is always anbig thing for me and i forgot to take my phone in with me but trust me its super clean as well even to the point the trash bag was a force flex bag now i know that sounds stupid to bring up but just shows quality over price. So now on to the food OH MY GOD lol best pizza in the valley hands down. Being from chicago pizza is a big thing to me. The pizza crust is brick oven baked perfect crispy crunch toppings on point. Check out the pictures says so much. Did order 5 lemon pepper chicken wings they are amazing i cant say 100% but it taste as if the lemon was fresh squeezed on to the wings. The Calamari was average price but way abover average for taste and the amount you get is great. I will make this my new pizza place hands down love it. read more
