I don't think anyone enjoys going to the dentist by Dr. Whtwell and his staff make it alright. This is a family dentistry and you are treated like you are part of the family. I just recently had my father set up an appointment to see Dr. Whitwell and they are getting him right in. I would highly recommend to anyone if they want to have their teeth taken care of in fast, professional and as pain free as possible manner. I have been to a lot of Dentists and this is by far the worst. The experience was similar to…read morebuying a used car. I have 5 crowns and came to this dentist because one was loose. Whitwell, the dentist, told me it was about time to get an implant which would be done by a specialist. Instead of referring me to a specialist though he did an expensive cleaning that was used to find over 5 cavities and said I needed my wisdom teeth pulled when I had told him I was switching jobs and the Implant was a much higher priority. Whitwell proceded to have a $1200 estimate of work on my teeth none of which addressed my Crown. I understand making a profit but this dentist was constantly trying to pressure me into work that made him money and was not necessary. The crown that I had him work on came loose within a month and while reaffixing it as Cheaply as possible he complained he couldn't charge my insurance. Whitwell also berated his employee and yelled at me to leave when I talked to the receptionist. Horrible Dentist!!!

We have had the same hygienist the last year or so and she is amazing, friendly and very gentle. on my last visit a month ago and my daughters visit she had today we had a different hygienist. To say she was the exact opposite would be a understatemen. There was no conversation, a lot of pain and blood, overall experience was terrible for both of us. I will be requesting the other one and if she isn't available we will wait til she is or may have to go elsewhere. It is crazy the drastic difference and how it can ruin your experience with a office.

Every time I went I was expecting to leave with a smile that I wouldn't be ashamed of and to say that still has not happened. I don't know why they cannot seem to get the fitting right on the dentures and for months I have to go completely toothless and as anyone knows that is so embarrassing. At the same time I was dealing with my mother's death and had to speak with doctors and professionals with no teeth in my head. It was a very traumatic experience. And it is actually changed my life. My depression and anxiety has pretty much made me a recluse. I can't stand to be seen in public or even look at myself in the mirror because I still do not have a set of dentures that I can wear. They won't even stay in my mouth and they are so uncomfortable they give me major headaches. I went to so many appointments with them getting it wrong that I finally just gave up and was stuck with a very inadequate pair. I really wish that they would have explained the process to me better before I decided to go that route. They hardly explained anything. They so no compassion or even apologize for my situation. It's my opinion that you stay as far away from this so-called dental clinic as possible.

Twice they've referred me to another clinics to get root canals, and both times I ended up spending $2-300 in x-ray fees to be told those teeth are not saveable. While I'm not happy about these things, my cleanings and extractions I've had here were overall positive experiences.

She wanted to extract my tooth which had healthy roots and put a bridge on three of my teeth costing me more than $3000. Another clinic did a core build up, put a crown and saved my tooth for at least 20 more years. Extracting a tooth is the worst decision in your life and it should not be extracted if it has healthy roots. Never let these money motivated doctors take your money and ruin your mouth. They wanted to take out my entire tooth which didn't have any pain at all. It was just broken and needed a crown!

The staff is amazing and everyone there takes a personal comittment to the clients coming in. The Dentist Dr. W is the best dentist dentist I have ever been to. Even though there feet maybe moving fast they still take the time nessisary to speak with each patient and answer all their questions. I am honored to call them my dentist.
