Twice they've referred me to another clinics to get root canals, and both times I ended up spending $2-300 in x-ray fees to be told those teeth are not saveable. While I'm not happy about these things, my cleanings and extractions I've had here were overall positive experiences.

Dr. Lawrence is a good…read moredentist, Dr. Sullins is a competent general dentist, Dr. Guffey is either too busy to perform the booked procedure in a timely manner or, he seemed somewhat preoccupied with something other than performing my procedure. I was given 8 - 10 injections for numbing - if two didn't work why continue to inject the same ingredient? This was very painful and took a long time between each injection. The financial office greed exceeds common courtesy financial practices. Warwick requires advance payment for all procedures without being provided an estimate of what insurance would or would not cover, and we are never given an itemized statement. After we receive an EOB from our insurance company, we are eventually given a refund, but that doesn't excuse this practice. It is, in fact, an insult.

Elected sedation dentistry and that's where the wheels came off. Anesthesiologist would not treat without an office visit for 'consultation'. Said I was willing for meeting over the phone and was told 'that's his protocol'. Good for him but I'm not wasting a half day to drive up and meet for what could be done on the phone. I expect he doesn't get paid for a consult unless in office, but really don't know. Cancelled treatment as sedation will not be available. Maybe they should consider a different anesthesiologist.
