Went searching from Slidell to Mandeville looking for Christmas outfits for my three boys (5 month…read moreold twins and a 17 month old). Silver Plum was the ONLY one with a decent boys selection. They even helped me when my toddler tried to tear the place apart while the twins simultaneously had crying fits. They had gorgeous clothes and shoes for both boys and girls, but it was a little pricier than shopping online. To me it's worth spending a few extra bucks to support a local small business! Definitely on par with some of the Uptown and Metairie children's boutiques. I'll be returning soon, I'm sure!

I honestly thought just another overpriced kids boutique. The prices are expensive but the quality of clothing is worth it. I walked in with my sister and we browsed for a full five minutes before he came to the front of the store from the back room. I asked him if he had a woven cotton Peter Pan collared shirt for a girl. He said they didn't carry it. As we turned to leave, he asked "have you been in here before?" I said no. He smugly said "I can tell because if you had you would know I don't carry that type of clothes." My sister and I looked at each other and bust out laughing. I don't know how he stays open.
