I dropped off a blank slate and picked up a (slightly larger) puppy with more commands than I knew what to do with. The pickup session was clear, informative, and they patiently walked me through the pertinent things my pup had learned. I continued the sessions and have been going for the past year. Highly recommend at least 5 sessions after board + train so that you can get up to speed with all the things your dog has learned. If you do the homework and give it 5-10 minutes a day - it will change you and your dog's lives. Admittedly, there are still things my pup randomly seems to know that I later find out she learned in Board + Train as a 4 month old. Overall, this is the best place to send your pup. Responsive, punctual, extremely clean, and strangers will routinely tell you how well-behaved your dog is (if you do everything Rich tells you to do :)

We met Megan before the pandemic when searching for an off leash trainer for our older corgi. After a 2 week boot camp with Megan, Nilla was a different dog (in all the right ways). She was still loyal, loving, and attached to her family, but she was also obedient and finally a pleasure to walk and take to busy places like parks and shopping centers. When we got our second dog it wasn't even a question.. He went for training as soon as he was past puppyhood. Beyond training, Megan has cared for our dog while traveling for many weeks. Even though she lives well over an hour away from my home, I gladly make the drive - Because she put in the time to build a relationship with my dogs. We provided our own dog food and they were able to give Duke his pills twice a day. Both dogs were provided an orange name tag with the address and phone numbers of the business. This place gave us a lot of peace of mind to find a safe place so we can enjoy a vacation without worry. We hope to return and maintain a reliable relationship for our dogs. There's a lot of places to choose from. This place looked very similar to other dog boarding homes, the floor is worn from a lot of dogs and it's not sparkling clean. But those things don't matter as long as my dog is safe and happy when I get back from Vacation! Glad we found this place close to home.

My…read morefamily was taking a 2 week long vacation over Christmas and New Year's and we needed to find accommodations for my girl Blue, a rescue 4 year old lab with allergies. She's stayed at Sweet Doggies, which is fine, but for 2 weeks, I wanted to find a place that was more like a home and not a boarding establishment. Honestly, I'm not even sure how MDAB showed up on my feed because they are about an hour away from us, but I am so glad it did. We did a meet and greet and right off the bat, you could tell that they love what they do, and that they love the dogs and all animals. The first couple nights, Blue was a bit anxious but Sandra and Joel made her feel comfortable. Also we are able to manage her skin allergies at home, but they flared up while boarding, and they took care of her. I loved being able to watch videos on Instagram. Sandra is also a retired vet tech so you know you the dogs are in good hands. I only wish we weren't so far from each other so we could use them more often!

Kevin and Sara are wonderful, and their beautiful, spacious property is perfect for an energetic dog like Lucy. Before her first stay, they gave us a tour of the property and had Lucy complete a daycare trial, which gave me so much confidence. One of my favorite moments has been running into some of the staff on our walks. Lucy gets so excited and runs right up to them, which says everything about how well she's cared for there. I've also referred family friends, and they've all had great experiences. Desjardins is a place I trust completely, and I know Lucy is always happy and well cared for.
