Duke (Weimaraner) and Lily (Golden doodle) stayed here for 11 days. Our dogs looked healthy, exercised and clean at pick up. We provided our own dog food and they were able to give Duke his pills twice a day. Both dogs were provided an orange name tag with the address and phone numbers of the business. This place gave us a lot of peace of mind to find a safe place so we can enjoy a vacation without worry. We hope to return and maintain a reliable relationship for our dogs. There's a lot of places to choose from. This place looked very similar to other dog boarding homes, the floor is worn from a lot of dogs and it's not sparkling clean. But those things don't matter as long as my dog is safe and happy when I get back from Vacation! Glad we found this place close to home. read more

We just moved to Aromas and needed somewhere for our beloved older pooch to stay for the day while we were at work and our fence was being built. Since Camp TLC was right on the way to work and seemed to have everything we needed, we decided to check it out. We were a little apprehensive after our initial visit, since it's set up differently than we were used to from the various dog daycares that we used while we lived in San Jose (Planet Pooch, etc), but after many days at daycare and the extreme level of care that Gail and Buff put toward our dog's happiness and care during her stays, we are happy with the change. The main differences are that this is a private home rather than a boarding facility, pickup and drop off times are super flexible and can be changed at the last minute if need be without penalty and I can always reach Gail or Buff via text or phone at any time. Gail would text me pictures and videos of our dog throughout the day so that I could see how she was getting on and that was very helpful. I would normally drop off our dog around 6:30am which was extremely accommodating and could never have been done at any of our previous daycares. I frequently changed her pickup times based on my schedule, and it was never a problem. I could text Gail the night before or even early in the morning to let her know that our dog was coming for the day, and it was always AOK. Buff even had coffee for me one morning and was always very sweet with our pooch. At one point our dog was a bit sore from playing hard with us all weekend and after spending a mellow day with Gail, Gail recommended that our dog might be happier recovering at home and that she'd just come by our house to check on her and take her out for a mellow walk. That turned out to be perfect and we've had Gail back out for check-ins a few times since. She even brought a few of the mellower pups to visit and play, which was great. Now that our fence is finished, it's good to know that we have on-call care for our dog when we need it. read more

This place is great! I took my mini poodle here who looked like a dirty mop and Gail made him look so beautiful! Zeus has ear issues and half the groomers he's been to won't even cut his ear hair but Gail got it all out and that really important to me. I would highly recommend TLC to anyone who has a dog. It's also nice knowing my dog isn't in a store somewhere far away from me, he's in a safe home where he doesn't feel anxious because of crowding. Thank you so much Gail! TLC is great! We were very assured when Gail showed us how our two boxer mix dogs would integrate with the rest of the dogs. We loved that Gail sent us pictures and updates of our dogs. Gail also bathed our dogs at the end of their stay and they've never felt softer! read more

Camp TLC was wonderful! I had a bad experience with boarding a couple years ago, but Gail really set me at ease. My dogs came home happy which made me happy. I will definitely be taking them there whenever I need to board them. I think not having them locked up in cages is a wonderful practice. read more

What a great find! Was able to get last minute care with TLC. And, the facilities are catered to the animals. A lovely home in the country with a huge tri-level backyard. When my Toga went, he had access to all 3 levels which includes outdoor yard, outdoor deck AND indoor sleeping quarters for the dogs. Though not necessary for mine, they also offer a smaller dog area on a beautiful outdoor deck. And finally, if your pet is a little on the cranky side, there is the option of a sectioned off area. Gail took our dog for 2 weeks over Christmas. We were a little concerned that she's getting old and being in a pack of dogs would be stressful but from the reports and the contented doggy we got back, everything clearly went well. Gail clearly loves dogs and goes the extra mile to make them comfortable - though dressing them up in christmas sweaters might have been a tad too far ;-) Highly recommend and will absolutely use the service again. read more

I put in two requests for service on their website over 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a peep. I really wanted to try them, but it will never happen if no one returns my calls/emails. This company has very poor work ethics towards land owners and environment.They seem to think it's O.K.to load their van up with dogs,cats whatever,park on peoples private property,open the holding tank valve and let it run on landscape,driveway or whatever they like.I have no idea what is in their holding tank.When I confronted them,they told me they have done it before on my property.That does not make it O.K.They also have their holding tank plumbed to empty out the right side of vehicle, passenger side.That's illegal in California.They also let the dogs out on my property where I have livestock.Watch Out for this Company as they are cutting corners at the environments expense.And if they let the animals out to harass the livestock they will be shot. read more

Our Dog was dropped off yesterday by TLC and has not recovered 24 hours later...he has a torn left ear, punctured jaw, injuries to both his legs, right leg has a bite taken out it and he's limping. We called 2 days earlier and asked how was he doing and they told us fine. When they dropped him off they said he got into a "little skirmish" that morning and blamed him for it... which could not be the case because his injuries were scabbed over which means it happen days ago and so they lied to us when we called. Like the one yelp reviewer said..."I'm the neighbor who lives next door to TLC and I hear her yelling at those dogs all day long" Right now, our dog's wounds are so severe we are taking him to the vet as they appear to be infected. He was returned filthy with fleas, they did not return his favor toys and he's not the same dog that we dropped off...5 days ago. There's nothing worse when a member of your family gets abused like this...I would not recommend this place to anyone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

This place is terrible. I considered boarding my dog here so I called and spoke to Gail. I checked out the website and watched the video online. Gail seemed very nice on the phone and offered for me to come and visit before I committed to boarding. Fortunately, I took her up on a visit. The facility is Gail's house and looks just like the video with one big difference, it is FILTHY. When I first got there, Gail took me out to the back where the dogs are kept. We went past the pool which looked like the cover had never been taken off. There were 10 or 12 dogs all barking behind a gate. Gail got a squirt bottle full of water and started spraying them all in the face to make them stop barking. This was the first sign that this was not a good place to board my dog. She took me to the inside area where the dogs sleep. There were lots of wooden dog beds like in the video, except they have all been chewed apart and the pillows and blankets are gone. There was one dog chewing pieces of wood off one of the frames. Gail squirted it in the face. There were torn up pieces of bedding all over the floor and yard. The windows were disgusting and covered in a dirty film. The floor was filthy. She took me outside to the backyard area where the dogs get to run around. It was pretty small. The energy and tension was very high. It is obvious that most of those dogs had not been exercised well enough. Many were trying to dominate one another, and two got into a fight and were biting each others faces. Gail squirted them in the face and pulled one away. There was a dog running around with a leash on and Gail told me that the dog didn't listen well so she kept the leash on it to grab it in case she needed to. She said that it helped build trust with the dog if the dog got stuck. The dog would have to ask her for help. Gail seemed to forget that a dog that is choking to death can't ask for help. Gail then showed me the "kitchen" where the dog food is prepared. It was filthy. She showed me the grooming room which was also filthy. This was also where she had put the dog that had gotten into the fight but it had jumped out the window into the front area. She said it was ok because he wouldn't run away. What if that had been my dog? It is my impression that the dogs Gail cares for are mostly hers and her neighbors, friends, or few regular clients because they are the same dogs in the video. It is my impression they are unsupervised most of the time. They have an unstable pack mentality and are not exercised enough. They are not in a safe environment and could potentially eat wood or other harmful things or escape. If you board your dog here, Gail will squirt it in the face if it barks or misbehaves instead of addressing the problem appropriately. The price she asked is the same price as at a legitimate boarding facility that offers constant supervision and safe play time. I will never board my dog here and I don't recommend anyone does. read more

This was our second experience with Gail at Camp TLC and it will not be our last! We have had our poodle, Matt, for only two months and in that time we lost our black lab, Honda. Honda was a great mommy to Matt for the short time they were together. Matt did not eat for 2-3 days after she passed on 1/14/12. We had to go out of town and had planned to take Matt with us due to our circumstances and just losing Honda. We found out at the last minute that the hotel was not pet friendly and we called Gail the same morning. She had previously groomed him for us the day after Thanksgiving as he found us on the day before Thanksgiving - he just showed up in our yard and played with Honda all day and ended up adopting us. Gail was very understanding of our situation and was able to take Matt in for four days. She and Clay were very good about taking care of us as well as Matt - they responded to my texting and phone calls while we were gone and gave us great peace of mind - they even sent us pictures with text response and greatly eased our anxiety about leaving him so soon after Honda had passed. We highly recommend TLC! Especially since they do not put our precious doggies in cages and they are treated as though they are in their own homes, they even get to sleep in doggie beds at night! When we picked up our Matty tonight he was being groomed and the other doggies were happily walking around, very much at home. He appeared happy, tired and ready to come home with us. We will definitely be using TLC in the future and a million thanks to Gail, Clay and the rest of her crew at TLC. They are true angels for our precious pets and us! :-) read more

I absolutely LOVE TLC Mobile Pet Grooming and Pet Resort. I have them come about once a month to groom my long haired German Shepard and she looks, feels and smells amazing- she is so clean and trimmed the way I like when they are done with her and it lasts for weeks (unless the dog finds a mud puddle in between baths!) PLUS the main bonus is that it is done right at your house - unlike other groomers where you leave your dog all day stressed out with no food or treats -My dog always came home so stressed out from places like that. This made it so easy and UN-stressful! I have a few friends who use them and I see their trucks in my neighborhood ALL the time! I have also turned a few friends on to them and they love them as well! Their Pet Resort is a Dogs dream play land! They have comforts of home, whether that be inside or out of the house with Dog Beds, clean feeding arrangements and very loving and caring staff- Gail and Buff. The amount of care they show all types of animals is truly one of a kind. They have other animals on the property (separate from the dog area) and these people are doing what they are best at with all heart! I didnt want to leave when I went to pick up my dog today! Also while caring for my dog the past few days, they administered the medication my dog needed and gave her extra treats when needed. Although I have always used a friend to stay at our home when go away, this was my first time sending my dog somewhere- and this will not be the last time!!! You have to try them and know that your animal is in the best care possible while you are away- That review from "B.T"- totally unnecessary- the rude and untrue comments - and threatening someones life is more of a crime that releasing a little water (dirty water- like when you wash your care in the driveway-kind of water- that flows to the drain...) into the gutter. I totally stand by TLC- They are awesome!!!! read more
