Ok now that you understand how I feel about dentist I can tell you about Dr Emerson and his staff. I had 5 teeth that needed repaired. 4 front teeth and 1 molar. I entered a relatively new waiting area and was greeted warmly by a lady at the front desk. The office is clean and well decorated. There is a tv playing. I was near tears when the dental assistant came to get me. I went into a small but private exam room. Dr Emerson (the older man) he was very calm and friendly. He spoke softly and didn't make me feel ashamed about the state of my teeth. He gave me a shot which I honestly didn't feel much more than a pinch. He put white feelings into my front teeth. I was so comfortable that I fell asleep and no I wasn't given any laughing gas that put me to sleep. I looked into the mirror and what was once 4 broken black teeth were now beautiful teeth. I cried! I went into ashamed of my mouth and rarely smiled and when i left I couldn't stop smiling! They didn't accept my insurance but they gave me all kinds of discounts. I highly recommend this office

Well, things finally started getting dodgy and I got an abcessed tooth. I remembered seeing Dr. Hamilton's ad in the Banner Gazette, so I gave her office a call. They promptly gave me an appointment and Dr. Hamilton diagnosed and started treating my absess and determined what other pressing issues were on the horizon. She helped me prioritize everything and PAINLESSLY got me back on the path to great dental health. The nicest thing about Dr. H is that she doesn't push unnecessary procedures on you. I have a friend whose dentist has convinced her that all of her old fillings needed replacement. The other thing that I love about Dr. Hamilton and her staff is that they are very gentle with you and do whatever is needed to make sure you're not in any discomfort. They also really care. A quick 15 min later I was doing the admitting paperwork and on in I went. Dr Young was quick and thorough locating the culprit tooth. He recommended I go to the endodontist who he prefers to use for the rear most molars. The specialist was able to get me right it. Very happy with the service and care I got today. After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. He was able to replace the cap and I had no pain or problems since. I appreciate their quick attention to my needs and were able to fix the problem. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. The dentist was so rough with me it caused extra pain, was frustrated with me because i wasnt numbing easily . Sent me home & said he cant help. I got the tooth removed same day from my regular dentist which lets me know he wasn't numbing me correctly and should go back to school . The front desk has bad attitude and inattentive. But that's not enough for me to make a review…read more When I got a filling with them, the tech was completely unprepared, seemed out of it, and had no idea what was going on. I was incredibly nervous with her work but I was stuck already in the process. My daughter got three fillings and in less than 2 months they had fallen out. We had to go to another dentist and pay full price (as insurance won't cover fillings for the same tooth within that time span), as landmark refused to refund us anything- even the copay - and expected us to return to them for replacement - why would I go back to a dental office that couldn't do it correctly the first time? There is no justifiable way for a kid to lose three different fillings from two separate appointments within 2months outside of the company's negligence. There's something really fishy going on with this office. Bad attitude in the front desk, a hygienist who seems to be on something, and 2 separate appts (3 separate fillings) that fell out of my daughters' mouth with 2 months.

Dr. Sakamaki was fantastic. I was in from out of town when a painful toothache flared up. The…read moredentist who first saw me found it was a rear molar. He recommended I see Dr. Sakamaki who he prefers to have handle the rear molar root canals. Dr. Sakamaki got me in IMMEDIATELY...much to my relief. Within an hour my root canal was completed and I felt so much better. Dr. Sakamaki was quick to confirm the offending tooth. I got a thorough explanation of what cases the need for a root canal as well as why the pain seems to come, go, and flare up again. The general anesthesia was nearly pain free when administered and they were able to get to work in 5-10 min. I got home and felt like a new man. Having not slept through the night for 4-5 days I got a great nap after lunch. I feel like a new man. I give Dr. Sakamaki my highest recommendation. He and his staff took great care of me. Could not be happier.
