The nail tech who did my pedicure did not listen to my request that he not dig into the sides of my big toes because I get ingrown nails. He PEELED out a strip of nail! It hurt and I asked him to stop! He laughed and said I'll feel better now and it will be fine. I'm still so shocked. That was done against my consent. He was also throwing things around, asking me if I drink beer repeatedly, and other questionable behavior. I recommend this nail tech is removed from this establishment. read more

This salon is beautiful and I have had some excellent pedicures in the past but it's very luck of the draw. This is the second pedicure I received from an older gentleman that was disappointing. The massage is just him lightly rubbing in lotion with zero pressure. Additionally, I paid $7 for a callus treatment so that he would scrub my heels but he spent less than 1 minute with the scrubber and I left with my heels looking dry and untouched. I found out about Stella Nail Lounge's soft opening from Instagram, and I was excited to be one of their first fifty customers this past weekend. I made an appointment via direct message, and when I arrived, I learned that most customers have been walk-ins. I was greeted by Mimi, the business owner, and she immediately made me feel welcomed by recognizing me and delivering exceptional hospitality. I had a brief wait before my Gel X manicure, and she offered to walk with me across the street for a pick-me-up before my appointment. It was wonderful to connect and learn more about her and the business! When I returned, Steven took care of my Gel X manicure. He was attentive and very detail oriented, which I appreciated as someone that's newer to nails. Mimi had excellent expertise on Gel X, and I was sold on this option over acrylics given the gentler treatment on your natural nails. I requested French tips and a bow design, which were well done. I've received so many compliments! I was having such a good experience that I asked if I could also add on a pedicure. Mimi has a can-do attitude, and her team was able to squeeze me in. The massage chairs were so comfortable; I could've fallen asleep in one. Service was exceptional, and I truly felt pampered. The best part is all services are 20% off over the next two weeks! Love the way Steven shapes my nails, Linda's pedicures are to die for and not only is Mimi is the sweetest girl on the planet, she keeps everything running smoothly.
