I've been coming to this nail salon for about 3 years. I live in Roseville and make the drive. I'm very picky with my nails and toes and I've never had an issue. The entire staff is very kind and super welcoming. Nhi and Julie do an amazing job at connecting with their clients. Julie is always very accommodating when I need a request of a change. She's punctual and when I don't know what designs to get she always is super helpful in coming up with beautiful nails. I get so many compliments all the time every where I go, including traveling to other states. I have tried several different salons in the Roseville/rocklin area since I had moved here 8 years ago and when I found this salon I have never gone anywhere else. Went in for a second time to this location but decided to try a manicure and pedicure. I went in as a walk-in and was sat for service immediately which was great. This was my first time getting a gel manicure, I kept it basic and wanted a clear coat. I felt like the service wasn't worth paying $40 on just the clear coat gel manicure... That was a bit odd since a cheaper manicure offered much more benefits... and again all I did was a clear coat gel. Had I known it was going to be this way, I would have not done the service. Aside from that my usual is to do a pedicure, this time I went with platinum and that genuinely was a great experience. I can't remember the gentlemen's name but he definitely made sure I got every benefit out of that experience. The platinum package was $68 but paying with cash dropped it to $64 which was pretty nice. Overall, I do see myself possibly coming back in the future but never again will I get a manicure done. Felt like I definitely overpaid for subpar service. They need to be more clear on what is offered for gel manicure. read more

I recently tried this nail salon and I was very excited because I had heard very good things & the reviews look really good! I went in and got a dip manicure done which was my first time doing so not exactly sure what the average process with those are but I was there for a little over two hours which seems like a bit much. The woman who did my nails was super friendly, super nice as well all of the other staff members! Once we got to the point I thought we were almost done, the nail tech started filing them down again and basically restarted which I'm assuming why it took so long. Had a total of three employees help with the manicure after everyone else had gone and everything was shut down. My nails looked fantastic! So cute!! Perfect length, color and shape. Such a bummer because this place could be so great. I had been seeing Nhi, the owner, (who does great but is booked out waaaaay far in advance), for my last few times but this yesterday I saw Julie. She came highly recommended but I'm not sure why... there was no "manicure" as you can see in the photo, rather just the dip and color. When she asked me if I liked the color I told her that it wasn't really the cat eye effect I was looking for, but instead of offering the solution, she said "that's the color you picked". I know she was running behind because her 2pm had arrived and I was still in her chair at 2:15, but to not make an effort to make sure that the customer was satisfied it was pretty rude. The salon is clean and the girls are friendly, but I'll be looking for a new salon that doesn't rush me out and actually does cleanup the hands instead of just dip & polish. read more

Folks! We've struck GOLD! I love this spot! It's still new to some here in Lincoln, but I believe they've been here a year already. They've have done really good reviews. Honestly, it's hard to filter through the picture with the business photos. I like seeing customer photos more than business photos. It shows the experience of someone coming here so a lot of those photos are not necessary... The salon inside is one of the biggest I have ever seen! Many chairs on the center for nails and many big massage chairs along the walls for pedicures! I love the floral decorations on the walls. It pops! This salon is very photogenic! My girlfriend and I called to see if they had time for us to walk in. It was about 3:45, and they didn't close until 6. My girlfriend needed a gel manicure ($30), and I was getting my nails filled ($40). As we walked in, it was gorgeous. Their check-in system is to type in your phone number and select done. Lani was my mail technician. She suggested a new full set ($50) because if I'm being honest, it had been longer than 2 weeks. She started by removing the acrylic and got on with a new set. She had me pick a color before we started, and I ended up changing my mind from a modern boring color to neon pink and neon orange. They didn't have the orange I wanted, but this one did great. I was charged an extra $5 for the length/coffin shape that I love. Lani is very particular and did AMAZING! She's fast, and not once did she knick my cuticles. That's such a major thing for me. She's very friendly and loved talking with her. I love my nails! Lani is most definitely stuck with me as long as she is there. Horrible customer service. Never again will I ever go back. Booked a gel color change online w/ french so blocked an hour window starting at 9:30am. Called to confirm day before and was set with nail tech Lani. Arrived & Lani was at front desk, said she had a 10 am appt so can another nail tech do my nails to which I was ok with. They all started talking in Vietnamese but clearly no nail tech could do the French style nails or didn't want to. Another nail tech came over to look at the inspo picture & told Kim she should be able to do my nails. At that point, I told them, sounds like no one knows or wants to do my nails so I put my appointment ticket on the desk & walked out. Glad I did because went to another nail salon & they did my gel French manicure with confidence!! Found a new place to have my nails done from now on. My daughter went to get acrylics here today and before they started working on her nails she showed them two pictures of what she wanted and they said ok. What she got was probably something I could have done...uneven blotchy art. It took 3 techs and an hour longer than the appointment was supposed to be and they still couldn't get it right. It wasn't even a super difficult design! Two Pics are the photos my daughter showed them and the rest are of their final work! I have captioned them all so you know which is which. My daughter is a full time college student so every penny counts. To pay $100.00 for a bad nail job is not ok! I wish you could give zero stars! I'm really bummed this place didn't work out for me. I tried it multiple times and had a good experience half the time & the other half I didn't. I like that the salon feels relaxing and it's easy to make an appt. What I didn't like was how my nails didn't last. On one occasion, I had the top layer of my dip nail peeling so I went back in & they fixed it for free. I was hesitant to try it again after that but I did & took my mom. Within 1 week, the same thing that happened to me happened to my mom's nails & my dip started chipping off again within 2 weeks. I've never had that experience with dip before- I'm not sure what they use or what their technique is but it didn't work for me. read more

However, while on vacation, the person she referred me to quit and the whole ordeal became a CF. Justin, the owners brother is pompous and rude. There is so much drama that everyone keeps quitting. When the manicurists don't have clients, they lounge in the pedi chairs, unprofessionally. Some sleep. Others eat and drink. The mom of the owner dresses very unprofessional with outfits so short it's embarrassing. The owners need to take a deep look at their business and make major changes. read more

The staff here was very nice, but the salon itself was very dirty. I asked for French tip on my toes, there is polish missing. Not to mention my $48 pedicure turned into $73 not sure how that makes sense. I got French tip on my hands, the lady did not remove all of the red I had from before so you can see the red showing under my nails. Also to apply the white tips on my nails she put the nail polish on her own finger nail to then put on mine. Dirty. She cut me 5 times with the electric file. My sisters nails ALL popped off when we got in the car after she paid $90 for short nails that didn't even look good and she has acrylic all over her fingers. This was my first experience coming for a fill on acrylic set I had completed at another salon and had the worst experience. The salon was slow on a Monday afternoon.. I went with my sister to get a fill on my acrylic nails and a pedicure. The two ladies performing the service completed both at the same time that led to an unpleasant experience as I'm 6 months pregnant and can not fully reach around to cure my gel polish on the other side of me. Here we are less than 2 weeks from date of service and the acrylic is lifting significantly, the gel is bubbling and they charged $65 for a fill with a solid color. This place is a joke. I previously attempted to schedule an appointment with the owner as my sister highly recommended her, however both times I scheduled 4-5 weeks in advance just to have her cancelled 20 minutes prior to the appointment. The lack of professionalism and service at this shop is unacceptable for such a location to claim to provide luxury experiences. read more

They weren't what I wanted (I should've spoke up sooner and that was my fault) and I always feel so nervous to say something at nail salons, but I ended up saying I didn't like my nails. The manager working yesterday was so kind and told me to come back today. Today it was such a great experience coming back and the nail tech KILLED it. I've been to Bui Nails four times and each time the customer service is consistent with the previous visits 5 star. As soon as I walk in I'm immediately greeted with a smile. All guests are carrying smiles and either relaxing or engaged with their manicurist. There's flat screen televisions and complementary beverages. I would suggest making an appointment or be patient while waiting for an opening. My manicurist is Sue. Sue is friendly and great in her profession. This was my first time here. I usually go to cosmo nail lounge in Roseville but live in Lincoln so I wanted to try something closer.... I quickly regretted that decision. DO NOT GO HERE!! I got a mani pedi. First of all, They reuse manicure AND pedicure kits!!!! Kimmy did my nails. I get dip powder on my real nails (they're pretty long naturally). I showed Kimmy my reference photo and told her I usually get a color called "bubble bath" at my other nail salon but don't know if they use the same brand/names. She said okay and went and got the powders. Kimmy knicked me and cut me multiple times, drawing blood a couple of times. Whenever it happened I was like ow and she just kinda giggled and said sorry. I thought that the color looked a little orange but the color often changes a little when you get to the finished product (trust the process is what I was telling myself). SYKE! I signed up online for the silver pedicure. The bill was 63.00. A Silver pedicure online shows a price of $48.00. I did not get the Gold package with paraffin wax, yet I paid for it. This place is so hit or miss. I end up going because it's close but then regret it a few days later. One of the girls there gave me the worst manicure I've seen in 20 years (I won't post her name but if anyone's asks I will definitely share). I have so much dead skin just poking off my cuticles right now it's ridiculous. I went a week ago. It's like she made it worse. Not only that but she tried to give me a French manicure and not one of them looked decent enough to keep so I had her take it off. I still have remnants of the first color and she just put clear over it. The only reason I am giving three stars is for Maddie. I would give her five stars but this place hasn't earned it yet. I chose my top four styles and each time I've gone to her, the shape is exactly how I wanted and she listens to exactly what I am asking for. I did like this place at first. After I got a full acrylic set, two of my nails came off after about 1.5 weeks. When I went back in to get it fixed, they wanted to know "what I was doing to my nails to make them fall off " They wanted to charge me to fix it, and said they only guarantee the nails for ONE week! I've never had nails come off that quickly, I work a desk job, so don't do anything to make my nails fall off! I think they should guarantee their work for longer than a week. This was my first and last time going to this salon. Henry gave me a gel manicure and gel pedicure. He was nice enough, but both myself and my friend felt like we were being rushed out of there. He was running back and forth to bring samples or get towels etc. My gel manicure lasted 4 days, my thumb chipped first followed by chips on each finger. My gel pedicure which I thought was decent, now has a chip on my toe. A friend had asked me whether I had a clear protective coat added on after and I did not which may explain. He was just in a rush to get the next customer in and out. I spent over $100 and now will have to get this polish removed and spend more money. read more

Lisa and Henry were very sweet and inviting. I think $35 for a 15 minute kid pedicure is OUTRAGEOUS. Tina was told to give me cat eye for wedding and she gave me "chrome" and told me multiple times "no no don't worry..." after I was done, my nails look like crap and i wasted the only time I had to get my nails done before the wedding at this place. First and last time I'll go. $150 for 1/3 of it to look like trash. They offered a gift card to return to get the color changed but I'll never waste my time and money one a salon who has staff that doesn't listen multiple times over and over charge me for their pushy behavior. My girls & I go to Julie or Nhi & they both do amazing work!!! For pedi, we normally ask for Lynn or her husband but if they're not available, anyone is great!
