I haven't had a pedicure here yet, so I'll save the five star to see how that goes. I usually get my nails done for a special event and then have them taken off, but this time I went in for my wedding and have since had two fills. This is partly because most times I've had my nails done, the people doing them are too rough and my fingers hurt for days after! But not here! The staff is funny and friendly and understandable. Okay, call me names if you want, but I have a hard time with accents and it's nice to go somewhere I'm not guessing at what's being said. Cindy is so wonderful, she puts me right at ease and before I know it we've been talking for 45 minutes and my nails are done. I recommend making an appointment, especially in the late afternoons or evenings. They try to be very accommodating to walk-ins but they're getting more and more popular and can't always squeeze people in for those last minute manis and pedis! read more

My new go to nail salon! I came here after I had gone to La Belle nails for their amazing nail art, little did I know Fashion Nails is just as creative until a coworker referred me here. I saw Cindy to fix my messy nails that were off on the shade of nude I preferred and I'll never look back! Right off the bat Cindy was extremely talkative, nothing I have experienced before with getting my nails done; I told her I wanted to keep my nails simple but wanted a little design on 2 fingers and showed her what I was thinking, she gave me her opinion and said it would look bad but that she would "meet me half way", anything I wanted or could think of she would have Mike do it, I wanted a feather and he delivered. I tried everything I could find over the counter - and then a prescription from my doctor. Nothing worked. I gave up and just covered my feet whenever I was around other people. Then, yesterday, I went to Fashion Nails. Judy welcomed me and encouraged me not to feel bad about my toenails. She said that my problem is common among women and men as we get a little older. Very disappointed: first called for an appointment and they were available, that's great. Went for a pedicure. Much needed due to Covid. She had me tell her which of the 3 pedicure option I wanted : ok so far good. Then it went down hill - massage on legs and feet were lacking and I still have rough heels. I do a better job myself in the shower. Once done and time to pay she says it's $50. Pedicure was $35. They stated that there's a charge for the polish at $15 more. That was never told to me. She started talking so fast with not the best English that it never made since. I paid it and left. Nothing anywhere posted does it say. Come on in get you toes polished but it will be additional. They need to listen to the customer and make it clear the cost before services. Not after and add more $$. Will not go back. read more

I too have been to many nail salons over the years and this one is BY FAR THE BEST. There should be many more reviews here and I am sure it is just a lack of people taking or rememebring to take the time to post a review. IOne reviewer mentioned the decor and I have to disagree. This is a family run business and Leena, one of the owners, has done a wonderful job decorating the salon! The decor is classy and sparkly as I discovered that Leena is fond of sparlky things like I am. Additonally, the pedicure chairs are top of the line and some of the best I have seen. Here, one is treated as a valued customer and I have never experienced such warmth and friendliness at any nail salon. It is common knowledge (and is even joked about) among us girls that get our nails done on a regular basis that nail salons have the worst reputation in customer service. Many times, you the customer are treated like they the business, are doing you a favor, when in reality, the business would perish without you, the customer! From being treated rudely, to the technicians speaking constantly in a language they know darn well you don't understand, I have experienced it all! (And you know they are talking doo-doo about you)! They do a great job at pedicures and manicures but I wouldn't recommend this place for waxing. I had my back waxed and it took longer than it should and the end results were not good. Had areas of dark red spots (from being wax in the same stop several times) and areas were there was still hair. I know it can be uncomfortable but this was also painful at times. I had 45 minutes to kill while the boyfriend was with his personal trainer. Me being the lucky girl I was, I was getting escorted to Avenue Q that night and completely out of my element in terms of being girly. I'm usually messing in a kitchen, cleaning out my car, or taking a road trip somewhere and not taking a second glance at my nails. But figuring that we were gonna be dressed up that night, I thought I'd get out of my comfort zone for a moment and glam it up. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly woman who immediately sized me up and sat me down. I picked out my color and chose something in a dark plum to match my evening gown. I've only been to a few nail salons in my time so I sort of knew the drill already and was ready to begin. I somehow got talked into a mani AND a pedi with their promises that I'd be out the door in 45 minutes. Lies. Total and utter lies. I did however appreciate, the foot massager and the gossiping they relished on me. And maybe someone could explain to me what the fascination is with guessing what sort of Asian the girl sitting in the chair is? Every time I'm in one these shops, I always get harassed about whether I'm Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Not a big deal but I could see how it could rub someone the wrong way. What I truly did get under my skin however was the timing. An hour passed by, the boyfriend was waiting for me and my nails were still getting worked on. I didn't get a chance to let them dry before I had to rush out the door and pick him up from the trainers. If they had just told me it was going to take longer than 45 minutes, I could have planned ahead better and had him drop me off first instead. $60 for ruined nails was not worth it unfortunately. read more

I only came here because the place I usually go to was closed. I got a gel fill and pedicure and my daughter got her nails painted and a pedicure. The lady that did my gel fill rushed through it and I was done in less than 25 minutes. That is great and all but within 3 days my nails had chipped paint and 2 of them broke off. I needed my nails done for a football party and asked to see if she can draw team logo on my thumb nail. I wasn't expecting the logo to be exact since she was looking at my phone while drawing it out. But after it was finished, the detail of it was as close as it gets. I asked her how'd she do it and she told me that she used to work as a graphic designer in her country and she also paints on whenever she finds time. I was heading to Safeway and saw this place had pedicures for $20 on select days. So I stopped in. They learned it was my first time and the service was excellent. I came back for another pedicure and it was great, but not as good as the first. They third time I came back, I brought my mom and we both got gel manicures. I've had the gel done many times and they usually last a week or long before a chip. Mine had a chip by the third day. Also, I brought my mom because they had some refer a friend incentive. They don't have the prices printed for the gel, but last time I was in, I asked how much. They said $30 which is comparable to what I've paid before. But they charged extra for the french which is normal. But when we got to the front to pay, I was amazed the price as so much more. I asked why and they said that the $30 was for gel manicure, and that the massages where extra. Aywhere I've been thats included. So that extra "fee" negated my savings for bringing my friend in. I like when places post all their prices so you're not duped when you go to pay. Not to mention, my mom's massage was literally just over two mins. I wasn't enjoying my massage yet so I watched the clock to see how long, just out of boredom, sInce this is my favorite part of a manicure and is what I base my tip on. read more
