We have had Pawel from Stellar Electric do a number of projects for us and he's our go-to electrician. I should have definitely left a review earlier but better late than never right? So we had: - Multiple ceiling fan installations - Outlet installation / fixes - EV charger installation - And probably other stuff I can't remember! We tried other electricians in the past that had glowing reviews but none were as awesome as Pawel. He's always on time, has very reasonable prices, goes out of his way to make things perfect (even little things like aligning the screw heads on an outlet plate) and leaves the place in perfect condition (we've had people leave a huge mess behind, saying they don't clean after). I sent a quote request to Stellar Electric regarding a project I had wanted to finish for quite some time. They had the most reasonable pricing, and were very responsive compared to some of the other electricians I contacted. Pawel came out within the week, and we quickly discussed my goal of mounting a wall tablet for smart home control / automation that is always powered. The installation of a power converter (from 120V AC to 5V DC, from an existing light switch) and the routing of the low voltage wiring and was very clean looking and I was extremely happy with the results. He even installed the mount for me, we turned the breaker back on and saw that it was powering the tablet. Pawel was very friendly, professional (drop cloths, vacuuming up any excess drywall, talking me through where I could position the tablet and providing thoughts on how to position it for the best aesthetics), and he worked very quickly. Pawel was hired to complete a large scope of rough and finished electrical. The total scope of the electrical contract was $25,000. Pawel took over 75% ($19,000) and disappeared with our money without even completing the rough electrical. He has 12 rough electrical items still outstanding and has not done any of the finished electrical items in scope. In additon, recent insurance inspections have revealed that the new electrical service upgrade, we paid in full for, (new service panel) does not have enough space to accommodate our entire home and will need to be replaced. While we liked Pawel initially and trusted that he would finish the incomplete work when over 75% of his contract payment was requested and issued...we realize now he was not honest as he never came back to finish the work he was paid in advance for, left with our money, and become unreachable. When someone disappears in the middle of a project with over 75% of your budget for that line item without delivering contractual line items in scope...it costs the homeowner time, money, stress, and a loss in quality of life. Electricians who have come through since are concerned about quality of work, need to retrace what has been done and not done, and have refused to warranty work that is not their own. This imposes a significant financial burdern and project delay on the homeowner. Contractors who disappear with your money and become unreachable without completing the contract should not be in business. We do not recommend Pawel. read more

Got back to me within 20 minutes of submitting my request on Yelp and came the next day to evaluate the job. Paul gave me the quote while on site and was able to start the next week. Clean, courteous, and the work was quality. He installed can lights into a living room ceiling, installed a new dimmer switch to control the cans (had to add the box and everything as there was nothing in place before), and replaced old florescent fixtures with traditional electric boxes in a ceiling.
