A few years later I came with a different MacBook that wasn't charging. I was told over the phone that it would be hundreds of dollars to fix. So I declined their business. I then went over to Ithaca Mac Repair who told me all I needed to was to clean the charging port with rubbing alcohol. Overall the customer relations were horrible, and they did not do quality work whatsoever. Mabe no one will ever see this review because of the messed-up algorithm, but if you do please don't give this shop your business it's not worth your time or money.

After another 2 weeks it malfunctioned again. I returned to the store and was told I would have to pay another $49 to have it sent out for repair again. After a brief discussion I was referred to a manager who approved waiving the second $49 charge. 2 weeks later I received a message that the unit could not be repaired and it would be replaced. I went to the store to obtain the replacement but due to their system being down I was told to return in a few days. A few days later they still could not give me a replacement but I was told that I would obtain credit for the faulty unit and I could purchase a replacement and as soon as their system allowed the credit they would call me. After several days and not receiving a call, I went to the store again. they told me the person(s) I needed to see were not there but they would call me. No call so I returned to the store again. Same result...right person(s) not there but they would call me. Still no call so yesterday I went online trying to call the store. Was told they could not connect me to the store but promised I would receive a call back by 5 PM EDT yesterday. Still no call.

While getting my stereo fixed on my VW I perchance had a discussion with Robert about my car's issues. He wanted to try to figure out the problems. Well it took several weeks getting used parts and hours of Robert's time digging deep into my car's electrical systems. He found all my issues and fixed them. My camera now works with- 3 PDC sensors and a Parking module, my proximity sensors work, and my push button start is doing what it should. Thank you Robert for all your hard work and due dilligence. Upon arriving, Lee met us at his store. Looking at the lamp electric cord, he said, "nothing is impossible". During our visit, Lee kept saying, "nothing is impossible". That alone made me feel confident in his skills. I saw a handwritten letter by one of his customers. She expressed her heartfelt thanks in helping her with her car repair. Based on our interaction, I could see why she felt confident. Lee repaired the electric cord for free. Just for that, HiWay Hifi deserved 5 stars. When in need of repairs, go to HiWay Hifi. My mother was verbally assaulted by an employee today. She went to the wrong parking lot when…read moretrying to donate, she was confused by the cones and signage so she thought she'd just park and walk over with the box. Before she even got the box out of the car an older white man, red faced, screamed at the top of his lungs "you can wait in line like everybody else". She got back in the car because she was so scared by him. She reparked and went inside to tell the manager because it was so upsetting. The mam followed her inside and stood next to her leaned forward and intimidating while she politely explained what happened to the manager. Then she left without donating. She came home shaking and crying. I'm furious that this happened and want the employee fired. He was a 65ish white male, blue shirt, blue shorts, working at the donations. This man is out of hand and needs to be addressed.
