I am absolutely speechless about my amazing experience working with the staff at Stella's in Leroy! I originally tried on dresses with Juliana who pulled the most beautiful options for me and she continued to tailer to my needs and wants as the appointment progressed. Her positive attitude made me feel heard and validated throughout the whole experience which made it much less anxiety provoking. Sadly I began to second guess my original dress choice, so Stella herself made a follow up appointment with me and went above and beyond to ensure I found the dress of my dreams! I can't believe I'm only now sitting down to write this review (8 months after my wedding!) but Stella's was so wonderful and everyone needs to know!! I went into my fitting with some loose ideas - I adamantly knew I didn't want a mermaid style, and I was interested in lace and dresses that weren't white. Super helpful, right?? Ryan was wonderful and just talked to me and got an idea of my personality and just started grabbing dresses for me to try on. They were - truly - all freaking stunning, COMPLETELY different, and very much me. From the second I had walked in I had my eye on a short pink dress that was on the mannequin, but it ended up being one of the dresses Ryan picked out for me that was the winner. I couldn't stop smiling. The inventory was extensive, and most importantly unique. Stella has a fantastic eye and picks dresses that are not only gorgeous, but will make you stand out. The process was so easy and stress free. We had the entire place to ourselves, no time limit, there was champagne, and the space is just gorgeous. Picking up my dress was easy, they helped me with everything, and I felt they were genuinely interested in my wedding. They wanted to know the hair, the shoes, the makeup, everything. I want to give this place 100 stars if I could! Best experience if you want to feel like a Queen. I had previously been to several OTHER bridal boutiques and felt like a piece of cattle. Too many women, not enough dressing rooms or attendants etc... screaming children having tantrums. NOT AT THIS PLACE! At Stella's its appointment only! Its only you and the people you bring with you to share your experience. When you arrive you are taken to the back where you are greeted by beautifully painted walls and a nice set of couches, chairs, and coffee table. Then you have a seat and have a conversation with "Stella". She asks you a lot of questions about your wedding vision etc. Then, unlike any other bridal store/boutique she leaves while you and guests stay to chat or peruse the store. Upon return she has hand selected 4-5 dress for you based on your conversation. For me, I also saw a dress that I liked at a bridal show several weeks prior and asked her to pull that as well. Don't you know I FELL IN LOVE with the dress from the bridal show. I SAID YES!!!! "Stella" disappeared shortly and then reappeared with champagne for everyone to celebrate!! By the way, she informed me that the dress I chose was her original design. I was so happy to hear that it was original AND affordable. I stayed within my budget all the while my experience felt like I was the richest woman in the world. Please, do not waste your time anywhere else. Get to Stella's, ASAP! read more

I don't even know where to begin! My experience at Stella's was out of this world. As soon as I walked in the door my bridal party and I were greeted with a huge smile on both Stella and Ryan's face. We took our seats in the main room. It was a Saturday and we were the only people in the boutique. The created such an intimate atmosphere. After answering questions about the style of dress I wanted Ryan took me into a room to try on the dresses. She picked 5 beautiful dresses and I knew from seeing one on the hanger that it would be mine! I asked if we could try that one on last, she obliged. As soon as I tried on the dress I knew it was the perfect one for our New Years Eve Wedding. When I walked out to show my bridal party the gasped and got out of their chairs to come see and touch the dress. That solidified that this was the dress! A few days later I went back to the boutique and said "Yes" to the dress! As soon as I did Ryan grabbed two glasses of champagne for my mom and me to celebrate. (It was delicious!) I stood around in my dress while talking about shipping, timeline and cost. I didn't want to get out of it! The dresses you will find at Stella's a high quality, unique and one of a kind. She really tried to get to know me- my likes and dislikes in fashion and wedding dresses- as well as getting to know my love story with my fiance! Stella comes with tons of fashion experience in Manhattan and has bestowed this knowledge upon the tiny town of Le Roy, where she strives to make each bride smile and find "the dress". During my VIP appointment, I felt like a princess! I had her full attention and she was able and willing to let me try anything and give practical and flattering opinions. One dress in particular I fell in love with, with the exception of part of the bottom. Stella put me at ease and explained how she and her seamstress are flexible and really able to customize little parts of any dress to make it into my dream dress! I had been to other bridal stores that had told me I would need to "settle" and that I couldn't "have it all in one dress". This is NOT Stella's attitude at all! I ended up saying yes to this dress!! I did not have a good experience at Stella's. I purchased a bridesmaid dress here that did not fit, and when I inquired about what could be done I was met with a less-than-helpful response. When I was fitted for this dress I was advised I was between an 8 and 10. I was told that the 8 is smaller. Well, of course an 8 is smaller than a 10. That is not advising me that I should get a 10. I chose to go with an 8 because that is my normal dress size. It was not made clear to me that this brand ran small and that I really should order a size up. If it had been made clear, I would have had no problem with it! You can't put the entire blame on me here. I'm not the one who runs a bridal boutique who deals with these dresses and brands every day. If the crux of your business is "we can only recommend, we can't force you to get a certain size" then that's a terrible business model. And in my case specifically, this dress doesn't even zip up. At all. I am not overweight. I have not gained weight since my fitting. It's literally my rib cage and upper back that the dress doesn't fit around. My bone structure didn't dramatically increase since my fitting. There's no way I measured "between an 8 and a 10" if this is what the 8 fits like. And, if the 8 and 10 are truly that disparate, the option of buying an 8 should have never been presented to me. Why would you tell me that I could choose an 8 if the sizes were that far off? I am not exaggerating, this dress doesn't zip up at all. Regardless of what I was or wasn't told by Stella's, I was so disappointed in the way I was treated. I'm your customer. I'm paying a good amount for this dress. I wish I had been met with a response like, "we are so sorry that this happened, what can we do to help?" Edited: I returned to Stella's today to see what could be done as far as alterations. Stella and the seamstress (I apologize, I don't remember her name) did fit me in on a day when they were booked with appointments so I much appreciate that. They went over some options for tailoring and we settled on adding some panels and a corset back. They also said they will cover the alterations at no cost, which is also much appreciated. read more

I love these girls. I booked an appointment to try on weddings dresses, nervous as can be because I have never done this before. The girls were so welcoming and polite. They gave great advice and went above and beyond. I had a particular look in mind and they were pulling dresses from every crack of the place to find me what I wanted. It was pretty cool because in stead of the traditional one person per bride, I got two girls to discuss ideas with. It was more personal feeling. I had my own private area with a step up to show off everything I tried on. Sadly, I did not find the dress I wanted but that doesn't mean this place isn't fantastic. I can't express how amazing Stella's bridal was. It was the 3rd time trying on dresses and I had yet to find something I was even considering. I was paired up with Steph who was so enthusiastic and honestly more excited than I was, she definitely loves her job and is superb at it. I showed her a few pictures, talked about the wedding and off she went. She came back with 5 gowns that were all in the realm of what I explained, even though I had no clue what I wanted! She gave me time to look at the dresses alone and get a feel for what she offered and let me put on first what I wanted. It was very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. The first dress I put on was the one. She picked out the perfect vail to go with it. I was hesitant to tell her I was heading out to Kleinfeld's the next day because I honestly felt bad, the experience with Steph was just what I wanted for picking out a gown. I asked her if I found one in NYC if i could still order with her because I enjoyed our time together so much and would much rather support their business. I ended up NOT finding one at Kleinfeld's because I just kept thinking about the dress at Stella's and how perfect everything was. I called back a few days later and talked with Maddie and ordered my dress over the phone since Steph was extremely helpful and saved all my sizes and what we picked out. Stella's was simply amazing! I went to many dress shoppes looking for the perfect dress for my day. I went with my mom and sister. They were so welcoming to us upon arrival and made my experience just perfect. The store is a beautiful, quaint location set back off the main road. Stella herself was there to welcome us with a smile, and got us set up and taken care of right away with one of her great staff, Ryan. They first asked me a series of questions to get my sense of style and what I was looking for in a dress. They brought me multiple dresses, all were beautiful and you could tell each were of great quality. I had a hard time deciding until I tried on my dress, it was the one. I made an appointment with Stella after meeting her at a Buffalo Bridal Convention. I had already done quite a bit of dress shopping and didn't have very high expectations since the experience was not going so well. Stella definitely changed that!!!! Her shop is amazing. Very quite and personable. You get the whole shop to yourself while you try on dresses which was the best part to me. Made me and my guests feel right at home. It was also so much nicer trying on dresses without the craziness of a bridal shop and getting one on one attention. All of the dresses are hidden in the back and I just explained to Stella what I was looking for and she pulled dresses to try on. Found my perfect dress after only trying on 3. It was exactly what I was looking for and different than any other dress I had seen so far. The dress took about 4 months to arrive and I am currently getting my alterations done through Stella as well. The alteration process has been smooth so far and everything should be done in time for the wedding. Stella made the experience of buying a dress so much easier than I thought it would be. The customer service and personal attention you get from her and the staff makes the drive from Buffalo to Leroy worth it. I would recommend her shop to anyone looking for a wedding dress. read more

Stella's Bridal is one of the best bridal shops in the area! While I ultimately didn't purchase my dress here, everything about my consultation with them was fabulous. Their space is beautiful and organized. My stylist listened to my budget and vision to pull some beautiful pieces. I also am a plus sized bride and I felt completely comfortable and had many dress options to select from. Additionally, unlike other shops I had experienced, Stella's was respectful of my budget and was able to show me beautiful dresses within that budget. As a wedding planner, I recommend Stella's to all my brides, and have had many who have had the best experience with them! I am from out of town and wanted my Great Aunt and Grandmother to see me try on dresses seeing as they probably will not make it to my actual wedding. I had the absolute best experience at Stella's, it far exceeded what I thought trying on dresses would be like. Kela styled me for the appointment and she fantastic. What I thought I would love for a dress was not the case at all. Kela was able to take what I liked about a dress and pick out other options that better suited me. When I came out to show my family, Kela would go over the details of the dress; SHE KNEW EVERYTHING! The joy that I got to see on my Grandmother and Great Aunt's faces will never be matched. I seriously cannot RAVE enough about this place! I got engaged last July 2016, and went "home" to NY in October to look for dresses. I made appointments at three different bridal boutiques and of the day, Stella's was my last stop. I had found a few I liked at the other two places but nothing that wow'd me. When we got to Stella's even just walking in the door I was in AWE. It looked like Bridal Heaven.. like where a Queen lived. I looked at my mom, who was one of the few people I had brought with me and who was also buying my dress for me as a gift. Our budget was $1000-$1200 which I was quickly worried was FAR to low to be able to afford a dress in this place. But anyways I wanted to try on some dresses, and feel like a princess anyways. I tried on about 5-8 dresses and I ended up FALLING IN LOVE with the very last one I tried one, which is the one I got (of course). I was so nervous to ask what the price was and when she said $1100 I was SO EXCITED! I couldn't even imagine my dream dress, as gorgeous as it was being in the price range. The lady assisting me said, 'Oh I didn't pull anything over $1200, we always stay within your budget". I was so thankful and so grateful they were able to accommodate what I asked for and what I needed and I was still able to find the dress of my dreams!!! After we all were given champagne and we toasted. My wedding is this October 2017, and I am BEYOND excited to be able to wear my dress again, I love it more and more every time I try it on.
