My experience with Two Hearts Bridal was amazing. They are a store that focuses on the fit of your dress, and this was very important to me when looking for a dress. They had me select a handful of dresses in my size that I liked prior to my appointment. Then, they held a virtual consultation to see where I was at in terms of price, style, vibe, fit, etc. The combination of these two things made my appointment so quick and easy. I tried on 4 dresses total, and ended up falling in love with the second dress I chose (which happened to be a dress I chose online prior to my appointment.) The absolute best dress shopping experience from start to finish. Jen was my consultant and can't say enough about how phenomenal she was! I went in with it being my 1st dress shop... little did I know it'd also be my last. Jen asked to see my Pinterest account so she could get a feel for the dresses I liked. A few, they actually had in store so she pulled a couple. She started me off with 5 dresses, the first being one I pinned but was also completely opposite to what I thought I wanted. I put that first dress on and I was done. I didn't want to take the dress off and knew it was "the dress". I still tried on a couple other dresses but ended up goon fright back to the first dress and ordered it right then and there with no regrets. Jen was unbelievably helpful and also made me feel very comfortable being in a new place and of course it can be rather uncomfortable having someone in the changing room with you. My experience was a while ago, but it still weighs on my mind and heart and so I am compelled to share this feedback. I had an appointment with Emily. It was my first time ever trying on dresses. She was very quick to put me in gowns after seeing just a couple pictures of what I like (not to mention I had plenty of other styles I liked). They were all very similar. Any professional should have been able to tell by my body language that I was not pleased with them. She kept asking "what gown would you be more excited for your fiancée to see you in, a or b?" Well, that's a really weird question to have to answer when the answer is neither. Also, I had to come out on the pedestal in each one and talk about it for ten minutes, which made the appointment so slow. I think i maybe only got in 6 gowns in 90 minutes. What I wanted was a seasoned professional to make recommendations of gowns that would flatter my figure and the adjectives I wanted to feel that day. I have a budget of 4k for a gown so I would think they should be able to find something amazing. What I got felt like the equivalent of a fast food drive through. I waited a long time to try on gowns and it should have been special. Instead I felt totally unheard, trying to be squeezed into a mold. Emily was also rather short with me a few times. The worst part is them actually talking you into buying a dress that you clearly don't like. If you look good in everything, and come in with a bunch of friends to giggle and coo at every dress, and have tastes that match the latest bridal instagram trends, I think this place would suit you just fine. They definitely cater to a younger crowd- they don't have an eye for making recommendations. If you're looking for a sophisticated gown outside of the generic mass-pleasing selection, trust me, you won't find it here. By contrast- I went to The Wedding Dress in geneseo the next day. The consultant (an older gal) showed me exactly what would look good on me, and we powered through 7 gowns in 25 minutes- and every.single.one. was better than ANYTHING Emily pulled at Heart to Heart. I am what I think of as a'non-traditional' bride (43, never been married) and the idea of planning a wedding and choosing a dress/venue/accessories gives me a huge amount of anxiety. I grudgingly went with my mother and aunt to Heart to Heart with no appointment and no real clear vision of what I wanted. We got there just as Emily was finishing up with a scheduled bride and even though she was waiting for her lunch delivery she abandoned her break and spent at least 2 hours patting my hand, calming my anxieties and reassuring me that there was a dress out there for me somewhere. I must have tried on a dozen dresses and left feeling strong affinity for 2. I live out of town and have been looking online for other options I might like. I found something I was wild about but no one within a 2 hour radius could get it for me to try on. I emailed H2H and got a response in hours saying they could get it. If you are looking for lace...this place is for you. This place is inundated with the trendy lace wedding gowns. Sooo much laaaaaace. Very large store that mostly caters to the bride. Very little options for bridesmaids/wedding party. At least that was my experience on my mid-fall 2015 visit. I can't tell you if they were phasing out the current selections and waiting for 2016 inventory...because we weren't given any more information. So my advise goes directly to the brides. This place is worth checking out for your dress -- not so much the wedding party or the Moms. Sad to admit, but the lack of dresses drives people to go to David's Bridal. read more

I came here the other day with some friends and her family members. My best friend had her heart set on coming here because she liked the dresses offered. I am thinking we should have gone to the main location in Manchester and I would suggest that if anyone wants a dress with this company you go to the Manchester location to begin with. I knew from the beginning that I would have to take my shoes off and I came armed with a pair of slippers. This is a good rule of thumb no matter what time of year you go wedding dress shopping... the dresses are white, dirt is not. I also knew that there is no food or drink... again, this is pretty much obvious but it wasn't to some people. We knew that someone would have to go into the dressing room and we were all fine with that. What I didn't know was that basically we would be doing ALL of the work. When I got there the bride to be already pulled a bunch of dresses to try on so we started right away. Like I said, I knew that we would have to do the dressing however, I expected that once my friend came out of the dressing room with a gown on a staff member would come to us see how the clips were put on the dress, see if the dress needed to be clipped, pull out the train to view it, and ask the bride questions about what she did and did not like so we can move forward and get closer to something the bride would want, suggest a veil with a dress she really liked. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The staff members randomly and rarely appeared. I felt like I was the consultant asking all the questions to get us to where we needed to be. Then if we had questions that we needed to ask staff, no one could politely call them out of wherever they were because they never introduced themselves to all of us and I had no idea what their names were. There are 3 fitting rooms and 2 staff members. I think it would have been better if 1 staff member handled the fitting room on its own and another staff member handled the set of 2 fitting rooms so this way customers could get a little more attention. That is seriously my biggest issue, we received no attention. I don't expect a ton of staff and I don't want to feel bombarded, but I don't want to feel like I am inconveniencing someone by wanting them to be an actual bridal consultant in a bridal store. I will never recommend people to this location, I would suggest go to the larger facility, maybe you will get the attention you need. If you want to do that whole thing on your own, then this is the place to go. read more

I had a wonderful experience trying on wedding gowns at Heart to Heart. I went on a Saturday afternoon with my mom and future mother-in-law. We worked with Ashley. She asked pertinent questions at the beginning of the appointment and walked me through the dresses to figure out what I liked and didn't, pulling some dresses that I asked for outright and others that she thought I might like based on our conversation. Ashley helped me in and out of all the dresses, including clipping them appropriately. In the middle of the appointment, the power went out--and the whole store went on chugging no problem! It even made it kind of fun--myself and the other brides ended up having to interact more than usual as we shared the natural light by the windows and every bride, guest, and staff member was pleasant. Ashley answered all of our questions and was very helpful in guiding my decision. She was honest about the fit of each dress and brought over veils as well as bridesmaid dresses to help me get the "full effect" without me even asking. This is a nice shop located in Webster. We caught them in the middle of their move to their new space, but the store was still very presentable. I appreciated that they sent an email after the appointment was made, and the details they provided are very accurate. They do ask that you have a person from your group assist with trying on the dresses, the staff there does not help you (they will clip if needed). I feel that this can take away from the experience for the people that you are bringing there with you. Instead of my mom being able to sit and see the dresses on me, she was helping me in and out of dresses, zipping and unzipping and putting dresses back on hangers. I think if I hadn't been to two other stores that provided such outstanding customer service I might have been more receptive to Heart to Heart's style. I understand that they are a small shop, however, so were each of the other two places I visited. Heart to Heart's style just isn't for me and I decided not to purchase a bridal gown there. read more

I would definitely not recommend this place, mistake after mistake and the manager Sarah is full of excuses and actually laughed at one point in the conversation and when I pointed that out she said it was an uncomfortable situation for her and she didn't know what to say, probably shouldn't be a manager if this is your response to a frustrated customer. My daughters dress came in missing a button so we had to leave it there so they could order and have fixed but don't worry they promptly asked for the remaining balance to be paid which we did even though we were leaving without a dress. No phone call follow up as promised so I had to reach out over a week late, again another excuse of miscommunication. Now today my daughter receives an email that the veil we ordered came in wrong but don't worry Sarah didn't take ownership of that either - she blamed the manufacturer. Terrible experience and unprofessional attitude. What should have been a great experience has been nothing but a headache!!! read more

Don't expect any service after the sale at Heart to Heart Bridal. My daughter was provided wonderful service during our scheduled session. The staff selected a number of gowns in a variety of styles, and it was a great experience. Sometime later, my daughter went back alone to purchase one of the gowns she tried on. This gown truly fit her like a glove. She put it on again there. She has a lovely, slim, figure, but the dress was a TEENY bit tight across the hips, however it did fit perfectly at shoulders, bust, waist, everywhere else. Unfortunately, the sales clerk told her, due to the very minor snug fit in the hips only, she should order one size up. So she did. When the dress came in, she went back and tried it on - alone again! It was a terrible fit - no surprise, it was an 8 not the 6 that fit! The shoulders were too big, the bust and waist loose. It looked like a different dress! So she burst into tears as her wedding was only a couple months away. The clerks were busy with another customer, so to "get rid of her" they allowed her to take the sample size 6 she tried on weeks ago, and she left them the brand new dress she just purchased! Luckily, the sample was is very good condition, but seriously!! After she told me all that, I called to complain about the fact that they had convinced her to order the wrong size , and to find out how to get the minimal tailoring done (shorten, bustle, etc) on the "sample". The girl I spoke to was smug and frankly rude. She INSISTED they had done nothing wrong by convincing my daughter to order the larger size, then she proceeds to tell me that I should just call a tailor to have it shortened! ...Then, as an afterthought, "Oh, you could call the Macedon store as they handle all the alterations." So next I called their Macedon store - twice - and no one called me back!! I did find a great little tailor that let out the hips (less than 1 inch total) , shortened the dress, and did a clever outside bustle. In the end, my daughter looked beautiful and the dress fit perfectly. So, yes, you can get a lot of help picking out a very expensive gown at Heart to Heart, and then NO help to have it fit properly!! Buyer beware!! read more

Even though the store was busy, my appointment started on time and there was enough space to accommodate my party of four; everything ran so smoothly. After hearing from several brides about their wonderful experiences with Heart to Heart, I decided to check it out myself. I must admit that I was not a typical bride. I am not someone who likes to have the spotlight on them so the idea of trying on dresses in front of a large group of people was a little overwhelming. The store is on the smaller side but that worked for me. We didn't have to spend a ton of time combing through the racks because the selection was smaller but every dress was beautiful. You can tell that Sarah is very selective about what dresses she brings into her store. The atmosphere is very relaxed and put me at ease.
