We had our daughter's 2nd birthday party at Stella's in Little Elm and they went above and beyond to make it a sweet celebration. The owner was so incredibly nice and easy to work with. They even opened up early for our event and let us bring in our own tables, food, and bounce house. All ages at the party enjoyed the ice cream. Finally, a great local ice cream spot WITH seating. The flavors are top notch - they have all the traditional flavors, plus some cool combos, and specialty flavors that come out weekly. The ice cream is very rich (which is good). They have lots of cone and topping options as well. This location is the first Stella's in Texas, and opened in October 2024. The ice cream is scrumptious, and it's a super clean store. Service was good, not great. We weren't greeted upon entrance, and it seemed like the folks behind the counter were in conversations that they didn't want to be distracted from. With that being said, we were helped in a timely manner and given samples that we asked for. No one was unfriendly and we appreciate the quick work made of the items we ordered. We had a chance to try the seasonal flavor Salty Caramel, and were really pleased with the balance of salt from the salted caramel and sweet. I totally enjoyed my experience at Stella's. This location is perfectly situated close to The Lawn at The Lakefront in Little Elm. I am delighted they opened up in that area! When I first walked in I was warmly greeted by the staff. Ordering was easy due to the clear, easy to read menus. I liked how easy it was to tell which flavors were gluten free and which ones were nondairy. The young lady who was working behind the counter was very helpful. I was able to sample various flavors and decided to try the cake batter and my husband decided to get the chocolate chip mint. Both flavors were creamy and delicious! The price per scoop is pretty good for the huge scoop of ice cream compared to other places in the area. I will definitely go back and try out some of their other flavors and baked goods. read more

Stella's is such a cute spot! They have many unique ice cream flavors so choosing is a little difficult. I picked a special flavor which had figs in it and it was out of this world. Super creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The employees were kind and helpful as well. There is room to sit inside or outside. I will be back for sure. read more

We went in and decided to buy a pint to take home. We thought $9 was a bit high but they get great reviews so we got it. I give it a 3 out of 5. For the price, it's definitely not worth it. Baskin Robbins chocolate Peanut Butter is much better for half the price at Tom Thumb. read more

The ice is really good but the service is awful. The line to order has no system. Who ever get attention first orders. Then when you figure that out you get out the line go to other end to pay. It is crazy so system at all. And the manager that was working 3.14.26 at night was clueless. Several people were complaining where you go to order. What is the process, everyone was told just go where ever and place the order, it does not matter. So this was causing people not knowing who was next. The understanding of the staff was limited as to cup size. I don't think I would go back or recommend based on the service. read more

Just visited Stella's Ice Cream and OMG! Purchased three pints of great tasting extra creamy ice cream. Salted Caramel is my favorite of the three. We also tried Cookies n Cream and the Birthday Cake. I give them 10 stars. So happy I stopped by today. AWas thinking about waiting for summer. It's never a wrong time for a special treat. Stella's Ice Cream is a wonderful new addition to Little Elm! They have fantastic service, and their ice cream cakes are outstanding. We ordered two ice cream cakes for my daughter's 11th birthday and were able to customize the ice creams and toppings. Her friends loved both flavors! Cookies N' Cream especially was a hit. See below and the photo for what we ordered. In terms of service - their phone does not operate (they receive a lot of spam apparently) so they suggest everyone email them for special orders. Once I emailed littleelm@stellasicecream.com they were responsive and then later were able to text with me to make sure my order was right. FYI: They don't write happy birthday on the cake but were able to write my daughter's name. They even gave an extra treat box for not being able to fulfill a flavor we wanted. We were thrilled with their generosity and wanting to make sure we were happy. Also for perspective, we have previously ordered Kilwins ice cream cakes and these are better priced and they let you customize it whereas Kilwins does not. Also these cakes are all ice cream and crumbles or toppings, no cake. Kilwins cakes have some actual cake. We preferred this actually! We'll be back for sure!!
