When we went it was cold , windy & drizzling I enjoyed the experience more especially due to the weather... We visited here on a whim and loved the ambiance. The person behind the counter was very friendly and suggested a few flavors on our request. There is a lounge behind the counter where you can sit and enjoy the music / TV or play jenga with your family and friends. We ordered the mango-lychee twist and ferrero rocher. Goes to show that the chain has done their own research and experimentation to push out new products - loved the Indian touch in many of their offerings. Needless to say, almost entire crowd consisted of folks from the sub-continent. Will have to see how well they do once schools start - for now, they seem to be making a killing. We felt that they need a portion size which is smaller than the smallest size they have on the menu now. Been wanting to try this spot out since it opened because I love Faloodeh and Indian treats . They were very busy on a Sunday evening - but the line moved fairly quickly. They have space out front for kids to play and some space in the back as well with what looked to be an arcade game and more seating . Their ordering system and just the management of workers was a bit all over the place . I assume the woman at the front taking orders was the owner or manager and she was hand writing orders to keep up with names as they were ready for people - but you can tell there was some disorganization and frustration going on. That didn't take away from the quality of the faloodeh. I grabbed the OG Rose and my partner grabbed the mango . Both were tasty and a good treat . There aren't many spots in this area for Faloodeh so I'm glad they are opening up more places nearby :) read more

Monday was the last day of Spring Break for my 3 grands, and we decided to take them to a new place for us... Maya Creamery in McKinney. What a fabulous surprise and such a fun outing. The owner rolls the ice cream on a frozen (really frozen ) tray, and it turns from liquid to a wonderful creamy treat which he proceeds to roll into little cylinders and stand up in a cup. Then came the toppings! On the cookies and cream, it was topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce with a cookie. The girls got the tropical ice cream, rolled with fruit and topped with whipped cream and coconut. Delicious and a fun process to watch. They also have games outside the entrances. A covered patio... corn hole boards with bean bags for the kids to toss. The owner was exceptionally nice,and you could tell he loved making others happy with his craft.
