    Freak shake... peanut butter s'more
    Leta B.

A friend recommended Stellian's in Central City, raving about the appetizers, cold beer, and pizza. It is a family friendly bar/ restaurant, with a couple of specialties. They have an 8 pound pizza, yes 8 pounds... since there is no way 2 of us could do that, we opted for the all the meats pizza. The toppings were very generous.... No skimping on this meaty pie!!!! Of note was the delicious sausage... YUM!!! Now, everyone likes different types of pizza crust, I would have preferred a thinner crust, but my husband raved about the hearty " sturdy" crust that didn't break or fold when you ate a slice. Pizza gets a 5/5 for sure!!!!! Now the other specialty is the "Freak Shake"... a social media- worthy concoction that you will not want to skip. Disclaimer..... we had to make a second trip so we could enjoy one!!!!! We got the sinful " Peanut Butter S'more"..... imagine a vanilla/peanut butter flavored milk shake, topped with an entire Hershey Bar, a whole graham cracker, 3 toasted marshmallows , whipped cream, chocolate AND peanut butter drizzle. The take home plastic cup is rimmed with vanilla frosting and rolled in graham cracker crumbs. This concoction from heaven is enough for 3-4 or more people to share!!! Both times service was smiling and friendly. Oh.... And check out the cool " wall paper" when you visit!!!!!

We loved this place. Rhe inside has dollar bills pasted all over the walls and ceilings. You can add yours too. They got shirts too and a bar. Note that The 8 lb comes in 3 flavors only: veggie, meat lover and the works. All the same price. I had read it's mostly dough but I dont think that's correct. There was a good amount of filling in our Works. We also got a strawberry cheesecake shake and a chocolate overload shake. Both were yummy. Service was good. Not stellar. But better than any I've had so far in this city. Parking is easy on the street. It wasn't full on a Saturday evening. I alone devoured both shakes and 2 slices before throwing in the towel. Not bad for an old man

    Mozzi bread

Traveling through town and looked good. There are dollars over all the walls and ceiling. Order pizza and mozzi bread. Mozzie bread was and entire meal for family. Very good. Pizza was great. Way more four than four could eat. Would definitely come again.

The service was very good. We had a real sweet waitress. The fried pickles were thin and pretty tart, I'd rate them average. I had the pepperoni pizza and my husband had the white chicken pizza. We unfortunately don't like the same things and so sharing isn't what we generally do. The pizza was also what I'd rate as average. Overall I would recommend it, as it's a decent pizza place but nothing to rave over.

The food was delicious, we didn't have to wait long. The only disadvantage is they are short staffed like everyone else but it was worth the wait.

    Huge pizza!

I heard about this place and the 8 pound pizza and shakes. We drove 30 minutes to check it out. It is a nice little restaurant that definitely cranks out some tasty food!!!! Our waitress was great and made our 3 year old feel at home!!! The pizza was as amazing and the chocolate shake was out of this world. And I was pleasantly surprised at the price when I received our check. We will definitely be returning!!!!!!

I definitely had to check this place out because of all the hype around the 8 pound pizza and Freak Shakes! The 8 pound pizza was definitely something to marvel, and the wings were flavorful! I typically don't like thick crust pizzas, but the 8 pound pizza had a fairly good balance between crust, sauce, and toppings for being a thicker crust. The Freak Shake had to be my favorite though! I had a whole Nutter Butter, 3 toasted marshmallows, and brownies on my milkshake-- and boy it was delicious! For an every once in a while dive restaurant, this place is pretty good.

Great spot for Muhlenberg County. Lots of options with good prices and friendly service. The sandwich I had was bursting with flavor and the homemade chips were the perfect accompaniment. They're known for their "freak shakes" with endless toppings and add ons.

The salads are one of the best parts and the lobster ravioli are sublime, but pricey. Otherwise, they have combination plates that are very reasonable and no more than what you'd pay it somewhere like the chain Olive Garden. I love the ambience -- it's in an "improving" part of town but once you step inside, it's charming.

I started with a soup, while my brother started with a salad. They were served with these garlic rolls, which were absolutely delicious to eat both alone and with the soup. Then came time for the entrees. I got the Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana, while my brother got the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. My Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana had a delicious mix of flavor and spice which I enjoyed every bite of, while my brother enjoyed his Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Additionally, we had thought from looking online that this would be one of our pricier meals out, but Cafe Italia actually ended up being a great value, as our meals included a soup or salad and rolls, and the portions were so generous, I needed to pack some of my entree away to eat in the morning. In short, we wholeheartly recommend Cafe Italia, both because the food is excellent but also because the portions are so large they are an excellent value. We are glad we chose to go here and would definitely come back here if in the area again.

I had the House Sampler, which is a great chance to try several different menu items: Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan were excellent--perfectly seasoned and clearly prepared with fresh, house-made ingredients. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good and served as a nice, creamy addition to the plate. My wife had the manicotti and thought it was great; it's definitely a winner if you're a fan of stuffed pasta. What really made the night was our server, Marin. She was great--professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. We never had an empty glass, our items were served hot and accurate, and she checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. It's rare to find service this seamless. Between the quality of the house-made dishes and the top-tier service from Marin, we had a wonderful experience.

We had a large party & was able to put tables together to sit together. Our waitress was very friendly & took our drink orders right away. She came back quickly and got our appetizer & main course order. Everyone ordered a lot of different things, but here's what my family ordered: *kids ravioli ($10): my son tore this UP. It was a large child serving but he only had 1 ravioli left in his serving dish. The size of the ravioli was huge! He loved it so much he asked to take the last ravioli home. *kids chicken tenders & fries ($10): came with 5 tenders and very well-seasoned fries. My girls noted how wonderfully seasoned they were. Doesn't come with any dipping sauces but you can ask for some. They just had ketchup for their fries. *($19) kids Alfredo ($11) with added shrimp ($8) : this was the star of the show! I ordered this bc I heard about how large their portions are so I didn't need much. The sauce was thick & sticking to the noodles, not just sliding off which I loved. VERY garlicky, again which I loved, and the shrimp were HUGE. It came with about 6 shrimp and it was PERFECT. I could only eat half of my meal bc I was already full from the complimentary bread/roll I had. I will be back very soon for this Alfredo. *Margherita pizza ($14): I was decent. I love how they have the wood fire grill where you can see them making the dough and the pizza. I was already full by the time the pizza came so I only had one slice. I prob would not order this next time. *gelatos ($15) my kids tried in a cone: strawberry, pistachio & salted caramel.. they all enjoyed them. My friend also ordered a large chicken Caesar salad and said it was very good. It was very large and she took most of it home. Overall amazing service, amazing food, amazing ambiance. Can't complain about anything!

What an absolute delight!…read more We walked in on a Saturday night without reservations & were immediately sat. They were so cool about it. Before I talk about the food let me tell you about the ambiance. Classy, clean, cool - am I in NYC or Murray, KY?! And the music selection surprised me at every turn. Nick Drake? Yes, please! For starters, it was happy hour & wine was $7 a glass. The cab was delicious. A perfect selection, poured fresh table-side. The starter kale salad with fresh fennel bulb was a testament to the goodness of God's creation. I crave that salad daily. House-made pasta - need I say more? The chicken in my mushroom pasta dish was house-roasted, you could taste it! And the mushrooms were so fresh and fragrant- the way mushrooms should be eaten. The red/sauce sausage pasta my daughter got was just the right amount of spicy. The next day I mixed our two pasta leftovers together & that was a real treat! For dessert we had the flourless chocolate torte which was the perfect ending to the perfect meal. I'm already planning my next meal when I visit Murray next weekend! Oh, also! They used Oneida Michelangelo silverware - the fancy stuff my parents used at home growing up. So that was special

We wanted Italian. And this looked like the place to go with all five star reviews…read more First the parking. There is a lot of free parking in the adjacent Stadium Park Plaza garage. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant though from there, as there is no access from the first floor. But from the 2nd and 3rd floor there is access using the elevator. The bulb in the elevator area needs to be replaced because it's burned out, and all dark like a scene from a horror movie. The restaurant faces the ballpark stadium Inside the restaurant there weren't many customers on a weekday for dinner. It was our waitresses second day and she messed up quite a lot. Like the bill/check had us all ordering drinks and extra meat with our pasta, but we didn't do any of that. But she was nice about it all, and even comp'd us a $5 beer which I pointed out to her that she didn't add to the bill yet (that being the one and only omission in the midst of all the wrong add-ons). The fried calamari appetizer was good. Only the rings. No arms. The pomodoro sauce was nice. But overall it was just an average dish and much better at other places. The New York strip was good. But they didn't have asparagus. That would be ok if not for the fact that they only have 3 sides to choose from: roasted potatoes, rice, and asparagus. So it was either double potatoes or the rice. So we got the rice. And it was super boring, and tasted overcooked and chewy. The steak and potatoes were good though. The kid's Alfredo was good too. But the carbonara was kinda bland. The waitress and said it was a white sauce but upon checking it was butter sauce she told us. But it was really not worth it. The complimentary bread they served with the meal tasted like pretzel bread. Kinda hard and chewy. But hot. It was good. It comes with olive oil for dipping. Over $100 for 3 people. It was kinda steep. And add to that a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Well that really was like salt in the wound. Is all of bowling green like that with credit surcharges? Sure hope not.
