In approval, I inadvertently exclaimed "yeah" too loud and quickly scoped around to see if anyone might have heard me. If they had, I'd be forced to take the meal to go. It possibly started some of our infatuation with places like this with cool signs and history posted all over the walls. We had burgers for breakfast at Ferrell's before 10 a.m. Because why not? The tiny cafe has about seven stools, and both staff and patrons were nicely hospitable and enjoyable to visit with. Also, turns out my dad was at nearby Fort Campbell for basic training, and that sparked some nice conversation with him once I shared where we were that night.
