Wow. What can I say? Abby is literally amazing. Not only is she an amazing florist but she went over and beyond for us. We did all our rentals, calligraphy, signs, menus, etc. from them. I think the most amazing part of our experience was the excitement we received every time I emailed Abby! She was more than happy to do anything we asked but at the same time told us "no :)" when we had a thought on what we wanted, but didn't quite fit a good design. That's why we honestly picked her from the very start. OF COURSE they are perfect at what they do, but I have never planned a wedding before!? So Abby was our designer from the beginning. I started off wanting these tree like creations down the aisle and thought it would have been pretty, Abby told us of another option and we ended up going with that! Now, every one keeps messaging me about how our ceremony was the most beautiful ceremony they have ever seen. I give all the credit to Abby for the design and the amazing unique details that went into this wedding! She even had an artist create a bar sign with our Dog Blakely's face on it. Like what? My only daughter got married in July 2009. We already knew about Abby and the wonderful reputation that she had with her clients. When we told Abby about the flowers we were considering, she was very open and honest about prices & availability. We wanted some flowers that were not in season, except overseas & they were $35.00 a stem (peonies). She showed us several other flowers that gave the same effect that we were looking for at a much more reasonable price. When it came to the smaller arrangements, we were not sure what would go well with the main arrangements we wanted. She showed us photographs of previous arrangements & made suggestions as to what she thought would blend well. We completely trusted Abby and went with her advice. I chose STEMS as the florist for my wedding after being a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding where STEMS did the flowers. I had loved my bridesmaid bouquet and the gorgeous, creative arrangements at my friend's wedding. For my own special day, STEMS did not disappoint! Throughout the planning process, everyone I spoke with was very prompt in answering my questions and very flexible with changes along the way. I liked that they put together a Pinterest page during the early brainstorming sessions, as it's easiest to gauge what something will look like in person when you can see pictures. What really impressed me, though, were the things they did that we didn't detail ahead of time. I had rented candle stands (from a different vendor) to line the aisle and had intended to place 8" candles inside the glass vases. Instead, STEMS filled the glass vases with water and put floating votive candles inside, which was way more creative and beautiful. This also tied in nicely with the dinner table center pieces, which had water-filled vases with flowers and candles. I truly appreciated their artistry and their attention to detail. I am not the greatest at expressing my visions in words but Hannah took the time to get to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it FLAWLESSLY. AMAZING! We are truly so happy we went with Stems for our wedding! My now mother-in-law did a ton of research prior, and knew they were the best in town. Thank goodness they were available for our special day! Everything was perfect. I would consider myself to have no idea what I really wanted, but after some chatting/emailing with Natalie, she put together a compilation of photos for things I might like, and the rest is history. I enjoyed my experience with STEMS. The flowers all looked incredible and were tailored to the season and our aesthetics. I also really appreciated Abby making accommodations to suit our needs such as an appointment shortly after Christmas so my mom from California could attend our first planning session. The Pintrest board STEMS sets up after the initial session was very helpful in coordinating other aspects of the wedding to the flowers and Abby was always quick to incorporate any changes we needed. I recently got married. April 6th 2013 to be exact. When talking with my now husband about what was really important about our wedding his answer was flowers. He is Dutch so our must haves were tulips and the color orange but other than that we were clueless. STEMS was incredible. We didn't have a huge budget for flowers but I told her what I was looking for and she said it was totally doable. She helped me figure where and how to use flowers to get the greatest impact and where I could best save. STEMS is amazing!!! I went to several Floral Design companies, and this company far exceeded my expectations. They did all the work for me, and offered many suggestions for my "5 star ideas, 2 star budget" Its hard when everything on Pinterest looks incredible, but you find out its a fortune. They give alternatives that turn out just as nice. They can match almost every color also! I had a Chuppah that they decorated for me, that my whole family commented on. They also took my moms wedding dress and wrapped the fabric around my bouquet at no extra charge.
