Centre Tailor Shop - I had to prop shoulders up a little so strap doesn't come down

They got me in that same day to do a quick measurement and it only took a few days. The fit looked great and saved me a couple hundred bucks from needing a new suit. Will be my go to spot for tailoring moving forward.

I dropped it in about 2 and a half weeks maybe 3 werks in before the event and ample time to do the alterations. I needed a hem, the straps that needed to be taken in to adjust to arms theyhad gem stones on top of straps. Also a bead on front of waist needed to be sewn. When I went to pick up the dress i paid the owner if I remember correctly it was like $125. I opened it up when i got to my car and i noticed the straps were not flat and in fact thick and lumpy with lowsy stitching where uou could see the thread. The gems were not removed! The top seam of the strap was opened and one end of strap was tucked under with the gem stones and then tucked on ans then a hand sew. I went back to the shop immediately. He said we couldn't get the sewing machine over the gems aaaaaah hellooooo.... A good alterations specialist would know to remove the gems first to stitch properly with a machine otherwise it will not lay flat. I demanded a partial refund at least for my troubles and having to come back. He gave me like $20 back. When I picked it up and took it home the straps will still slightly loose where thry could fall down if wrong move. The hem was great. The one bead on front waist was not sewn. I should of taken before pics. The dress has a small fitting room which is a make shift fitting room with lots of clothes back there one metal folding chair it has an acordian type door or it was a curtain separating the long section for sewing tabes and ftont counter. It seems the owner is the only one who speaks English.

Bella is an angel. About two months prior to my wedding, I took my wedding dress to another…read moreseamstress who not only was going to charge literally double for my alterations, but this other lady also didn't seem to know how to alter my dress correctly (the dress is very lacy and had intricate lace detail at the bottom). This other woman literally wanted to take shears and cut off the whole bottom detail and reattach it by hand, which is NOT what my BHLDN dress was designed to do for alterations. But thank god to my coworker who recommended Bella and thank god for Bella!! Thank goodness I was able to get my dress back from the other seamstress before she did anything to it and brought it over to Bella and she knew exactly what to do! She took the time to even button up the sheer button detail in the back of my dress to make sure everything fit in the back, on the sides, brought up the length of my dress, and was able to reattach the lace detail seamlessly. My dress also had a deep plunge which was way too open for my *ahem* assets, but she was also able to cover it over and blend all of the lace detail so well that it wasn't even noticeable at all! If you're in the area, I highly recommend Bella! She's just the sweetest and pays the most attention to detail, and was even able to do everything so well with a quick turnaround too.

I'm not sure how this establishment has as high of a rating as it does. I had brought my dress in 4…read moremonths prior to my wedding and it was the most frustrating experience of my wedding planning thus far. It took 5 fittings to have very basic alterations done and with very minimal changes between each fitting. By the 3rd fitting, I had called ahead of time as I was worried that nothing would be updated on the dress and I had to explain to her that there had essentially been no changes at the previous fittings. On the 4th fitting, what I thought was going to be the pick up date, the bottom of the dress hadn't even been hemmed yet and the bustle not even close to started. On top of that, at my final fitting the appointment was delayed 3 times that day, as the dress wasn't finished still and I had to wait there while she finished it. The alterations cost almost half the price of my dress and after spending closed to $1,000 they don't even steam or iron your dress/veil. I absolutely to not recommend coming here.

My mother instructed me to discard it because it was completely unusable. But I kept it, since I knew deep down it was an irreplaceable item to her/us. Currently, my mother is battling end-stage liver disease and currently is in the hospital. She is in quiet discomfort, understandably, so. I thought if I can do anything for my mom, it was to gift her something that would mitigate her duress and pain. My mothers imminent death is tentative, ergo I immediately called the first place I saw on Yelp. I explained the situation and they were more than happy to help even if the task of fixing the blanket seemed impossible. With alacrity "All Fit Tailoring and Alterations" took the decayed blanket and gave it new life. When I presented it to my mom today it brought her so much ease and "loved it". Seeing her peaceful after a long time was a priceless moment. Thank-you for taking me on as a client, being efficient and altering my mothers blanket with so much care. Her favorite part of the blanket was the floral purple trim (I told them purple was my moms favorite color). You guys are truly a Godsend. Perpetually grateful

I never worry when I drop something off with them. They also understand current style and can give good advice on alterations so things still look modern. I recently moved further away from Back Bay.
