They ruined my expensive winter jacket and trenchcoat. I'm not sure how they dry clean, but the fabric on my coat looked like it was washed in a washing machine 100 times. It looked worn and ashy. They totally destroyed my coat I received for the holidays. My trenchcoat has strange marks like it was caught in some type of machine and the side is scuffed and damaged for good. I am not going back. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. read more

Stumbled into their shop early on a Wednesday morning to have a button sewn back into my jacket. It had just popped off due to my seat belt (probably should've taken the jacket off to drive) and I was on my way to a meeting. The nice woman at the counter called over to an older gentleman who I assumed was the owner and he immediately dropped what he was doing to sew my button back on- free of charge. They were very kind and I was taken aback at how willing he was to drop what he was doing to help someone who hadn't been a customer before. Really like Sunray cleaners. They always do great work! Giving 4 rather than 5 stars because I am really saddened to still see all of the plastic still being used this day in age. With companies and consumers now thinking about their foot print and plastic waste, the standard should be not getting plastic unless someone specifically asks. The standard should be a movement towards green and less impact. For my grandaughter's christening, my daughter planned to have her wear the christening gown my late sister-in-law made for her, which was worn by her three siblings as well. Unfortunately, when I retrieved it from storage (after twenty-seven years) I found that it had highly noticeable stains on the front of both the lacey dress and the underlying slip. Just picked up my 2-piece suit, 1 laundered dress shirt, and 1 dry cleaned dress shirt. So I think my items cover a pretty good breadth of their services at least for men. Absolutely satisfied. The laundered shirt I brought in already had cracked buttons. They still replaced them all with matching colors and texture even it wasn't their fault. Also my dry cleaned shirt's pretty tricky to handle because of its unique weave; they nailed it and hanged the shirt on a foam hanger(nothing fancy, but it shows a lot of heart, a lot) to prevent stretch. I don't know how many of you have the same feeling as I do when you hand over your items to a cleaner. I'm usually terrified. Some of my suits cost upwards of 4000, and shirts usually 300-400. Knowing your cleaner actually pays close attention to your items is such an awesome feeling. Just to give you an idea of how much I care about quality cleaners and how hard I try to find them - I never had a fixed spot. So before I discovered this place, I used to take an Uber just about every month to downtown Boston from West Roxbury and back just to test out different cleaners. YEAH... I can't fathom how amazing this business is. I had taken a bridesmaid dress to another tailor in West Roxbury that had not many any alterations besides hemming the length. In a panic, THE DAY BEFORE the wedding, I had called Sunray last minute in hopes of a miracle. They were so kind and told me to come in that morning. I arrived at 7:15 and my dress was ready an hour later! The man who made the alterations is an absolute miracle worker. Every detail was perfect and he knew exactly how to fit the dress according to my body type.
