Stephanie's Daily Grind has been a go to spot for my husband and I when we are heading back to CT from visiting our MA friends. We love stopping in here for the variety of bagels, sandwiches and wraps they have avaiable. They also have a huge variety of flavored coffee (which my husband adores) as well as cold brew on tap. I usually go for the Popeye on an Onion or everything bagel (Double toasted) but the last time I went they did not have egg whites available so I opted for regular eggs and they were just as good. The employees have always been friendly work quickly and efficiently to get out food for hungry patrons - the majority of which "grab and go" I cannot speak to their cream cheese flavors so I guess that means I need to make a return trip STAT. read more

I wasn't a fan of their coffee but it wasn't my typical style of coffee. The bagel breakfast made up for it. The bagel was so good and the service was very friendly. If you liked iced flavored coffee this is probably more your place. Not a lot of seating so more of a to go place. read more

The food is always great. The coffee is lacking with the flavorings. They always sound good but never can taste anything when I drink it.

Extreemly Rude staff. I ordered a bagel. 15 minutes later after I see orders going out the door over and over, the staff are busy but priorizing the orders on the phone over people standing there waiting. I ask if they forgot my order (because I'm not sure and don't want to stand there waiting for my order that isn't coming.) The older lady at the counter snaps at me telling me they're very busy... then says they're ready stuffing them into a bag, with a sarcastic tone, 'thank you for your patience'. I'm a paying customer, standing there watching them prioritize phone orders over me standing there waiting. I was patient. A toasted bagel doesn't take 15 minutes. It wasn't a sandwich just a bagel. She was rude and shouldn't be working the counter or in the service industry if you're going to be nasty. read more

Amazing sandwiches- I especially love the Lox & Cream cheese. It has care, onions, and tomato - I have to get real close to Boston to find anything as good. Also wife loves the "Obi" and I see why - I'd get that if it wasn't for their Lox. Coffees are great and tons of flavors to choose from . Can be a little of a wait so don't expect to be in and out, but it's worth the wait. People are super personable and you can tell they have a lot of regulars. Great little area to just sit and enjoy your morning with someone. I just wished I lived closer so I could go more often. read more

Love coming here for their breakfast sandwiches. If you love coffee, they have probably dozens of flavors brewed into their coffees. They have probably two dozen different bagels and muffins. Unfortunately, their iced teas have a weird coffee taste to them so I steer clear, I'm assuming it's the way they brew it. But I still find myself coming here because it's close to home and their sandwiches are just too good. Their Lox is wicked good. They also have indoor seating which is a great plus. read more

Stopped in for the first time this morning with my daughter on the way to drop her off at school. I ordered the "bee sting" breakfast sandwich and she got a lox bagel. Both were delicious. The service was friendly, accommodating and prompt. The flavored iced coffee was very good as well, definitely flavorful. We will certainly be visiting again. First time in Stephanie's Daily Grind, and we LOVVEEED it! They have sooo many coffee flavors to choose from, very knowledgeable staff, and food was great! We only had a bagel to eat, but it was legit. Most bagel places don't do it right, but these were honestly top notch, nice toasty crisp outside, but soft interior and didn't hurt the roof of your mouth. The food is fresh and tasty. But the staff can be fresh at times as well. If you order ahead, be aware that you have to wait in line behind new orders when you get there. You'll see your food on the counter waiting for you ..as it's cooling off...but you have to wait for the folks in front of you who didn't plan ahead but will get warm food. Mentioned this a few times and they frankly said , "we're not changing our process". Luckily Donut Star down the street understands good food and good process. read more

2X disappointment ! First time we tried this place they laughed at my dad for trying to get oat milk in my sister's coffee. Today I went for bagels and cream cheese, waited a long time just for them to be cut (not toasted, cream cheese, etc), then when I got home was terribly disappointed that they were stale. If I had to guess, they were either a couple days old or taken out of the freezer. To make things worse, they use an iPad to ring you up and when the lady checking me out got to the "tip" slide, she asked me which button She could push for me, which made me feel awkward enough to be forced to tip, though I wouldn't have otherwise. Despite having a lot of coffee flavors, they all taste the same. Being a walkable distance from my house, I have gone a few times and tried a different flavor each time, but haven't been impressed. However, the reason for going back is because of their delicious bagels and spreads. Obviously, I could make it at home, but sometimes it's nice to spend money on a good bagel. And I do prefer their bagels over Dunkins. Stephanie's Daily Grind also has a lunch menu for salad wraps which are pretty good. Grafton, being a small town, there's not a lot of coffee shops, so I will just have to settle for this. If you are looking for good coffee, this isn't the place but if you need something quick on the way to work, Stephanie's is the way to go. read more

Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches but the cashier is really rude and I will be now taking my business to little bean. It's unfortunate as many reviews compliment the food and beverages but the attitude of the staff seems to be an issue the owner doesn't want to correct. I have witnessed this cashier (who's there 90 percent of the time) complain to me personally about the last customer who ordered in front of me not tipping...how awkward and entitled is that?! As annoying as I find tip screens I actually leave a tip nearly every time I go, she never says thank you, is rarely polite, and doesn't greet customers. How charming to pay $4 for a coffee, and be expected to leave a minimum of a dollar tip, and then if I chose not too, I'm going to be mocked by her to the stranger waiting to order behind me when I walk away. To the owner: this is the face of your buisness. Wake up! Your losing customers over this. read more

I popped in for a cup of coffee on my way to work to check out this local business, the title of which is based on coffee. All they offer is convenience store-quality New England Coffee that you can get at Cumberland Farms down the street for a dollar. I won't be back. After I posted this review, the owner sent me a private message which said the following: "We don't have an automated espresso machine, not sure where you were. We do use New England Coffee. We are known for our abundant choices of ice coffees and bagels with flavored cream cheese. We are not a cafe...and don't pretend to be!! Thanks for your negative feedback during a pandemic and good luck in your espresso adventures!" (I mistakenly wrote in my review that they had an automated espresso machine which I thought I saw behind the counter, and I thought that they were a cafe because their name is Stephanie's Daily Grind so I went in for a cup of coffee.) Thanks for your passive aggressive message! Guess they're not interested in feedback. In response to the owner below: this is not "feedback about something you don't sell." Your store name references coffee. You are listed on Yelp under "coffee and tea" and describe your own store as a "gourmet coffee shop." I went in for coffee. You sold me coffee. Your coffee is bad. And unless the pandemic has made the quality of your coffee worse, the timing of my review has nothing to do with that. If you are known for your iced coffees and cream cheeses, maybe name your establishment Stephanie's Daily Iced Coffee and Cream Cheese. I wouldn't have even bothered coming in. read more

I've been to Stephanie's before and wasn't over-the-moon thrilled about it but I figured it's been over a year and I want to give them another shot. I came in and ordered 2 bagels and an iced coffee. It came to $11 and change (I wish I knew why it was so expensive but I couldn't find prices on the board). The flavors of the bagels were very good but they were barely toasted. I ordered them with veggie cream cheese but I will never order it again. It was carrot cream cheese (see picture below) and lucky (not) for me, I hate raw carrots. A few is fine, but this cream cheese is chuck FULL of them. Lesson learned. They had a plethora of other flavors to chose from for next time. The cookies and creaM iced coffee was effing DELICIOUS. I'm ordering a large next time. I highly recommend it! Overall, for me at least, this is a trial and error kinda coffee shop. Now I know for next time: bagels extra toasted with plain cream cheese and a LARGE iced cookies and cream (and ask for a receipt! Because it was expensive...at least for my budget). Pulled into town for a pit stop. Dunkin is only 50 yards down the street and I'd say you're better off stopping there. Asked for a hot coca and got a super watered-down Swiss Miss that was not drinkable (dumped it). They don't have espresso and only have flavored New England Coffee. Ordered a apple fritter and found it was sorta stale - maybe a day or two old? Not great. Really wanted to support a local coffee shop and keep dollars in the community but this just wasn't worth it. read more

Look, the bagels are delicious and the spreads are great. What these people lack is service. The staff, from the cashier to the people making sandwiches, are extremely rude. 0 customer service skills. They get annoyed if you aren't 100% prepared to order and have a very negative aura in general. For a local business in grafton, one would've expected better service than the Dunkin' Donuts across the street from them. Unfortunately I have never come to Stephanie's daily grind and not gotten a rude or short response from the main women in charge. When confronted she tries to act like she is doing what is good for the costumer but she's just not. I have never left there with a food order correct either. The rudeness from her is just so not necessary. It really ruins my experience and this morning I officially will not be back. There's great coffee right up the road with the nicest staff in the world at little coffee bean. I will make an effort to drive out of my way next time to go there instead. read more

Service is polite, and the last time I was there, it was a nice little place to sit and read, relax a little before heading off to a day job. I take my coffee black, which is hard to mess up. Could get that, though, anywhere & even stay home & make it, and it seems the pastry selections are yesterday's and are served very stale. I can't speak for the bagels or pastries here since I have only had their coffee both hot and iced. They have very limited flavors for hot coffee, but have a wide range of flavors for iced. Coffee is mediocre at best. No real flavor! I can make much better coffee at home. They also need to be environmentally sound and not use styrofoam cups! Like most coffee and breakfast places this was extremely busy on Saturday morning. Small space, seating and a long line aren't the best mix. The line actually got so long while we were there that it was outside the business. I think they could have handled the ever growing line a bit more smoothly. Once they saw it was out the door, they started taking food orders but wow, it was so slow before then. I think we were in line 20 minutes. They have a huge variety of bagels and muffins and a lot of yummy sounding sandwich types they can make. I ended up getting a peanut buttercup muffin. Very rich and sweet, thumbs up. For breakfast sandwiches we got a healthy wrap on spinach (just a meh from my dining partner) and an egg and cheese with cream cheese on an Asiago bagel. Thumbs up on that from me too. I wolfed that thing down in record time. My only real complaint was the coffee. They have tons of flavors. We went with purple cow and Nutella for our two flavors - iced. Neither one tasted like anything. All they tasted like was weak coffee. We even closed our eyes and tried to see if either one tasted any different and no, just weak coffee. Pet peeve of mine are coffee places listing a ton of interesting flavors and then none of it ever tastes like what is promised. I see this more and more and I get they are using brews and not syrups but these places might want to taste test some of those coffees to make sure it actually tastes like what is promised. Not in the area so I likely will not stop in again. I recommend trying a muffin or bagel on a more sleepy time of day because that line was really epic. read more

One of my faves. I go to Breakfast at Stephanie's (same owner) once a week with my son, and I love stopping in here often for coffee and a little something else. My son loves the scones and muffins, and I love that they're so gluten-sensitive aware. I never have to worry about accidentally getting sick because I know they're on it, and they have a bunch of gluten free options. So glad they're around! read more

My girls have gone here for years and now I'm a regular. The largest selection of brewed coffee that you could ever imagine, muffins are fabulous, breakfast sandwiches are delicious and staff is friendly. So happy this is in my backyard so I can go daily. read more

This place has really awesome breakfast sandwiches. I've gone probably 5 times in the past year. The bagels have always been really good. Often when getting a bagel breakfast sandwich they can be tough to eat and fall apart, but not here. They manage to keep the outer part of the bagel crispy, the middle chewy and yet still well packed with the fillings (egg, cheese, bacon or sausage) without it getting soggy. The bagel varieties are also really good, plenty of the sweet, savory, spicy, and all in between. I haven't gotten any beverages yet but the coffee smells decent and there are other baked goods like muffins. A few places to sit inside. The only drawback is the location. It's on a busy road with a shared small parking lot and it's not too easy taking a left out of it if there's a lot of traffic. So if you're up for a good breakfast sandwich, this is worth the stop in my opinion. read more

My husband and I come here at least once a week. The bagels, cream cheese and iced coffee are amazing. The Breakfast sandwiches are just okay...it seems like the eggs are precooked and they just heat them up. The muffins are a great treat. I'm glad they started using plastic cups rather than styrofoam for the coffee. Staff is friendly and efficient. Used to give them my business everyday and then one day they got my order wrong, which is totally fine, I just went back and nicely explained that it must've been a mistake (expecting my order to be corrected) and a worker indirectly shouted at me and said "it's not our fault she got the wrong thing she can pay for another one if she doesn't like it". She embarrassed me in a crowded room, and she embarrassed herself by being so rude. Good way to maximize profits! Love when a company knows accountability and fair customer service. 3.5 stars. Delicious muffins and bagels, but I found the iced coffees to be lacking. I tried both the French Vanilla and Hazelnut iced coffee and they were both very diluted. I did taste the flavors, but not so much the coffee itself. Despite this, I do love how generous they are with portions. A medium iced coffee is larger than a large elsewhere! Not only this, they offer a very, very wide selection of flavors. The plain bagel with cream cheese and coffee cake muffin I had tasted amazing. I definitely recommend trying out their muffins! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I will come back when in the area to grab another muffin! read more

Came here based on the reviews...probably a great place to go if you don't really like the taste of coffee. Huge selection of flavored iced coffees. My breakfast sandwich was good and they have a good selection of bagels/muffins. My iced coffee (Breakfast Blend) was weak and just tasted like cream and sugar. They only use styrofoam cups which bugs me; it's just irresponsible. My daughters wrap was missing 2 ingredients. Some highlights but overall not very well executed. read more

I stopped in here the other day on my way to the bank and got a coffee and my favorite, an everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. the coffee was great! i'm not a coffee expert i like my coffee flavored and i tried the caramel but crunch and it was so good! more nutty than caramel which i like with that particular flavor. but the bagel was unreal. nice and crispy toasted on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside not too much cream cheese but not to little, it was perfect. I will definitely be stopping back in! the staff was great too, the two girls behind the counter were really sweet and worked really well together helping each other out with everyone's orders. read more
