    Blueberry muffin and coffee

Great spot!! I'm in town for business. I love to visit local coffee shops. This place is so perfect. The staff is extremely pleasant. Got a coffee and blueberry muffin. I'm a blueberry muffin connoisseur and this is one of the best! I got the Samoa flavor in a hot coffee.

This charming coffee shop is tucked away in French Hill. The drinks are delicious, and the food is good. The ambiance is fun and cozy, featuring exposed brick. I would give it five stars, but the staff can be inconsistent. Sometimes they are really friendly and welcoming, while other times, it feels like customers are intentionally being ignored. At one point, three of us were standing there waiting as the staff chatted among themselves. Everyone has a bad day but this has happened consistently. However, knowing that going in, 4 stars based on drinks, food, ambience and sometimes great service.

    Cold bacon, egg & cheese

I ordered breakfast sandwich to eat in. I did get handed my coffee and I sat down waiting for my breakfast sandwich. Other customers came in and went out. Another came in and ordered a sandwich to go. I stood there waiting for my sandwich while the egg, bacon & cheese sat getting cold on the counter while the to-go order was done before my toast was even out of the toaster. Sandwich was then wrapped to go and put in a bag. Sandwich was Luke warm. Once melted cheese now coagulated. All the while the two employees talked and talked about?-not work!!! Pausing to do hand movements, gestures, etc. The only thing missing was them holding their cell phones. Will not come back. Im glad I didn't tip when I ordered.

Cold brew with a splash of cream

One of the best cold brews I've had! I like mine with just a splash of cream, most places put in too much, the barista here nailed it! Helpful service as well in guiding us around town. We came back a 2nd day in a row!

Stopped in for the first time today. It is absolutely adorable in here and extremely cozy. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! I grabbed a tea and now I'm sitting down to do some work in this peaceful atmosphere! Highly recommend.

Super cute and the service is great! The pastries looking amazing I just wish I didn't order what I ordered. I got the strawberries and Nutella crepe. For $10 for 1 crepe I was really surprised that fresh strawberries weren't used. That unfortunately ruined it for me. They were just large frozen to now thawed strawberries. I will definitely come back again to try more things because it looked amazing. I just wouldn't recommend that specific crepe!

New to the area; local business with pretty good reviews so thought I'd check them out. FYI: you do need a mask, regardless of your vax status and you are not permitted to stay/eat inside yet. I noticed some Yelp reviews say they fail to mention this on their site. They do have a description of their parking capabilities on the web site, which was helpful. It's on a fairly busy main road. There is outside seating but it hasn't been nice enough out yet, and I haven't seen anyone taking advantage of the seating when I've driven by in the last few weeks. The people inside were nice, and helpful with questions and answers. There are a good amount of options to choose from. I got an iced dark raspberry mocha latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese and avocado. The bagel is nothing special but they did not skimp on the avocado at all. My coffee was delicious. Because I was taking the food to go, he did add a layer of aluminum foil over the bagel so it wouldn't lose any heat, which was nice. Pending consistency in quality of the next coffee, I think this is a cute little small business to support

    Strawberry Nutella crepe

Loved the ambiance of this place. I needed strong WiFi to do some work while the kid played soccer and this place delivered. The food was ok and reasonably priced. Had the green monster and a latte. The crepe was hard to eat as the strawberries weren't sliced but it was still delicious. The donut was an interesting flavor but would have preferred more lemon flavor. It was also hard as it was later in the day. I will definitely go back and give it another try. There were only a handful of customers so no wait time to order and a choice of seating. The staff was so friendly and treated me like they knew me!

    Aesthetically pleasing, and relaxing environment

There was an abundance of Parmesan cheese on the salad as well, however it was molded! It almost has a homey feel and the servers are always friendly. Their food tends to be hearty and comforting. A few dishes I have tried and enjoyed include: - The cassoulet, which is not a traditional French cassoulet at all, but it is comforting and filling. I would give it an 8/10 (ask for extra bread). - The baked brie is really good and comes in a big portion. I would give this a 10/10. - Le Jardinier is an open-face veggie sandwich. It has a lot piled on the bread, so it can get a bit soggy, but it is a good lighter option if you do not want one of their heavier dishes. 7/10. - The gratin is sooooo good. It is a super decadent mac and cheese with thin slices of prosciutto. 10/10 - Chaider (not a food item) is my favorite drink. Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.
