Reading through some of these posts is priceless. A bagel shop is....quaint? Really? A bagel shop? And another one whining about inefficiencies and if only a lean expert could go through........yeah, that's what is needed. A lean expert, fresh out of the Sheraton conference room with their 2 day green belt certification, gonna set business right!!! Throw on an apron and spend some time in reality. This is a small business with an excellent product that is hard to come by. They may not have deep pockets to pave your road with gold, but they do have a great work ethic. We moved away from Worcester so we were forced to switch to NY bagel factory, welp it's just not the same! We find ourselves driving to Worcester to pick up the jalapenos cheddar bagels, they are delicious and incomparable with what NY bagel factory has. The new location is really nice! Ever since I moved away from Worcester, I've missed Bagel Time! I'm so happy I got a chance to come back. My favorite thing to get is the jalapeño cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese. There can be a bit of a wait on weekends, but there are also parks nearby to walk around in while you wait. The parks are also perfect spots to have a picnic with your bagel too! They had recently moved to a new location within the last year and by far it's a very clean look. All their cream cheese and bagels are homemade which are all very enjoyable. My personal favorite is the cheddar jalapeños and scallion, bacon cream cheese. They have a variety of flavors that you can from. It is relatively quick to order, and service is nice however, their line system sometimes can be disorganized as people just kind of stand around once they're done ordering rather than move aside to the seating areas especially when it's peak hours. read more

I ordered a grilled chicken blt. What I got was a breaded chicken patty like you find in the freezer section of the grocery store and a tomato end that was mostly skin. Came here on a Thursday morning around 11am. None of the bagels were in the baskets but there is a sign that says all the bagels are actually kept in the back. They were out of a couple flavors though by the time I went. The place is relatively clean, just a little cluttered. There was no seating other than a couple of chairs were you could sit to wait for your food, but no tables present. I found the cashier to be a little rude: she just seemed to be a bit short with me and while I was ordering would also stop and talk to either an employee or another customer which made ordering a little confusing. I got a half dozen bagels to go and a jalapeño cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese. It was a good size and a great bagel. Not too hard on the outside, which I like since it makes it harder to eat. The food is great but the service is alright. read more

I don't think I'd get it again though. The plain bagel was freshly made and absolutely delicious. I'd probably go again just to get 1/2 dozen bagels & cream cheese to go. I love bagels so I was excited to try this place, especially all of the different types of cream cheese. The Good Morning is honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches (if not the best) I've ever had - the flavors are amazing together. The bagels themselves though are decent, nothing really to write home about. However, I will say that their apple cinnamon and honey apricot cream cheeses are very yummy. The place is cute but definitely gets very crowded on the weekend I noticed which makes wait times super long. Even when it wasn't really busy the food does take a bit so give yourself enough time for that haha. Overall, pretty good and the staff is nice enough :) read more

As a once NY-er, I take bagels very seriously and bagel time is a pretty good option for when you're not in the Empire State. Covid times (currently) mean only 4 people inside at a time. This means a line on a Sunday around 11ish included a 10 ish min wait outside. Be warned in the current winter! Twice while inside the owners had to remind the fifth person entering to leave. Which I very much appreciated. Having literally never been there before but I checked the menu online, I was taken aback when I was asked if I knew what I wanted after immediately entering. This would clearly be ok for a regular but it turns out that 1) I hadn't looked at their bagel types - I love whole wheat everything - they had either or. And 2) their current menu has a "lox sandwich" as it were not the lox cream cheese spread I was requesting. Guess just one less item to streamline orders right now. Oh well. So I went with a scallion cream cheese everything. I was asking if the bagels were soft i.e. fresh so I wouldn't have to get it toasted. Looks like I didn't have a choice bc it definitely had been lightly toasted. Oh well. Anyway. Great amount of cream cheese almost bordering on too much. Just wish it had more scallions! See photo. I ended chopping up a whole one to add on my own. Looks like they just used the greens and sparingly at that. The bagel was a pleasant surprise. FULL of everything "seasoning" slightly crispy in the right spots and a bit chewy in the right spots. Not a NY bagel for sure but pretty good. My other half got a wheat bagel which seemed smaller than a normal bagel, and maybe due to it being a wheat, lacked the air and chewiness of regular bagels. The cucumber dill cream cheese on that bagel was equally heavily added (glad u get what u pay for!) and a delicious amount of dill. Cucumber was equally sparingly added tho to the scallion, actually less. But cucumber is watery so maybe that's on purpose. Anyway. Definitely worth a trip for a decent bagel is the end all be all. And supporting a local place for a " whopping" $5.97 (plus tip of course) for two bagels is not a problem. Beats a trip to NY, especially when you can't safely get there now. read more

Whenever you drive by there's a line. Seeing that you would think the bagels are good. Last week there was no line so I went in. The good news is that there were only 2 people in front of me but the bad news is that it took me 15 minutes to get my two bagels to go. The first thing you notice when you walk in is a completely disorganized ordering system. For some reason it takes at least 10 to 15 minutes to get up to the register to order, with only three people in front of you. Then you notice that this bagel shop does not show any of their bagels; every basket is empty! If you want to sell the goods, you need to show them! After you order, you should plan to wait another 15 minutes for a toasted bagel or 20 to 25 minutes for a sandwich. This makes no sense for people that are in a rush. The bagel sandwiches and bagels themselves are always good, but definitely not worth the wait. None of the workers are hustling to get things done and keep people moving They would have a lot more sales if they got people in and out in a timely manner. read more
