I was leery because of all the horror stories you hear about contractors but George absolutely delivered - above and beyond the expectations he set. I had a few prices and Gastelum was not the cheapest but definitely not the highest. Right about the middle of the road from a cost perspective. But, the service and quality are top notch. The crew (4 guys Monday, including George - 2 guys Tuesday and half day Wednesday) knocked out the job in half the time they committed to AND had the house cleaned up and shiny by mid day Wednesday. Initially, they said they'd be done Friday. Very impressive speed! And the quality, it's amazing how clean the lines are, there's no drips on the walls or drips in the floor. The house looks brand new again after only 2 days! The crew was great and while there was some small talk, they were here to work and they crushed it. George offered a good price, and he was very personable. His communication skills are excellent. He was always available when I called and texted him. The day before the project, he made sure to confirm the paint color and sheen that I wanted. It's always nice getting confirmation before a project starts, because it puts myself as the homeowner, at ease knowing that a contractor will show up when they say they will. I've had contractors in the past not show up when they were supposed to, and I'm glad I did not have this experience with George. Like George stated, they were there right at 7:00 a.m., and got straight to prepping the garage so that paint would not get on the garage door and opener, which are new, and to make sure the floor was protected. George primed the walls and ceiling, and then applied two coats of the paint color I wanted. I also wanted the plumbing painted so that it kind of hid where the pipes were. Before, those plumbing pipes were an eyesore, and now they are less noticeable.There was untreated wood exposed in the garage, and George recommended having it primed with wood primer and then painted because the wood kept absorbing the paint. It was an additional charge, but it was not a significant charge. I took his recommendation because I trusted him, and I am glad that I did. The wood looks a lot better and matches with the walls and ceiling. George and his crew finished in about 5 hours. The paint job was very clean, and him and his crew left the area clean as well. The photos I provided show the paint right after they finished painting, which is why you see wet spots in the photos. If you want to hire someone who is reliable, offers a good price, and does a good job, George is your man. It is also a plus that he is a very nice person and is genuine in wanting to make sure that himself and the customer is happy with the work.

We hired Diaz Painting to paint the exterior of our home last month, and they did an amazing…read morepainting job! These guys drove from the Corona/Riverside area to our home daily and showed up on time. We felt the pricing was fair for the size of our home, and the overall value for the work done was excellent. For only two painters, they were able to complete the work in the timeframe we were quoted, which was great. However, there were a few communication and cleanup issues that prevented this from being a 5-star experience. As a military family, we were grateful for the military discount provided by the project manager, Fermin. He was highly professional, communicative, and even included a few complimentary touch-ups, like refreshing our light fixtures and painting the side garage door.  Unfortunately, property care at the end of the project fell short. The crew removed our security camera bases to ensure an even paint job but didn't notify us where they were placed. We had to search our yard and eventually found them stashed inside our outdoor cat house and a flower bed. Additionally, the side garage door weatherstripping was removed for painting and left off. Even if the crew intentionally left it off to allow the paint to dry completely, failing to communicate that instruction to us, left us to figure it out and reinstall it ourselves.  The painting itself deserves praise, and the project manager provided our full paid receipt and warranty information as requested. However, better attention to detail regarding communication and final cleanup is needed. We were happy to support a business in the Inland Empire.
