Generally you would think that the staff would take their time with you but nope, I felt rushed like I was just a number to them. I have severe anxiety and the fact that I felt like I was just being pushed through the office/system so they could get to the next patient made my anxiety even higher. I felt like they didn't even care. Again, just a number to them, get me in, get me out to get the next person in. They didn't even know why I was there. They assumed I was there to have my vision checked because I'm a diabetic. Completely wrong. The doctor came in, was completely rude, did not ask me any questions, straight to eye exam in and out in under 4 minutes. Ridiculous. I never felt more like a number at a doctor/eye doctor ever. Such a horrible experience. I would not let them dilate my eyes because they caused my anxiety levels to escalate so they made me feel even more rushed. He dismissively mumbled his way through an explanation of the process, obviously unconcerned with whether or not his 94 year old patient heard or understood anything he was saying. The one sentence he did not mumble was, "We're going to get you drunk and have our way with you." I was stunned. I was also afraid to address it at that moment as he was to perform surgery on my grandmother just 30 minutes later. It didn't feel like a safe time to question his supremely inappropriate and offensive attempt at humor. In no way was this acceptable. Never mind the fact that he made me uncomfortable before he even opened his mouth, what he said was disgusting. I would never recommend him to anyone for any reason. In fact, we've cancelled the second surgery my grandmother was to have with him. Do not subject yourself or your loved ones to a doctor with such abhorrent bedside manner.

The front staff was friendly, the optometrist took his time with my dad to really understand what his issues were and I felt like the answers to ALL the questions were asked and answered and documented. Dr. Elieff came in for the final review and we went over everything again, which I liked, because he had a slightly different opinion on what he saw and looked at my dad's pupils the old fashioned way, because my dad's were too small to see otherwise clearly. For us this is a great way to start with a new doctor and stay for a very long time. The staff is very friendly. The wait time is minimal due to the few patients. Dr. Davalos and Evelyn (nurse) speak Spanish which is a plus for my wife. I don't know if the rest if the staff does, but I'm sure they can direct you with someone that does. Dr. Davalos is very detailed and explains everything so that you can understand it. I am very happy that we came here. I hope the service level stays the same for years to come.
